Melody looked pretty scared tonight, I wonder if the drugs have worn off enough that she's aware of what happened? She still seemed pretty spacey when Nicole was calling out to her. The way Jai put it, makes it sound much more like Melody is at fault, then the original impression, I wonder if everyone will take the same stance?

I liked Roman/Martha but it was obvious from the get-go it was just another plot device to heighten the JnM drama, however now that Jacky could be out of the picture I'd be happy for them to go back to Marman (Hopefully there is a grieving period longer then a day this time )

They're not together but because they're so close, they live together and are naturally flirty (like they are in the show), people often assume it (especially if they're jealous say like...Belle ) Thanks for all the comments guys, next chapter should be up tonight.

I'll agree with the sentiment that Geoff and Melody are past the time and place that they would be good together, i think their previous-selves (Innocent Geoff, Pre-Axel Melody) worked rather well, they could be sweet and fun without all the other drama couples got loaded with but now far too much has happened and there's no going back to that, their characters are too different and any relationship between them now I can't see working.

I agree on the Melody/Aden issue but that's for another thread. Oddly, I find Geoff and Nicole to be one of the few realistic couples. They fight and they disagree and things get in between their relationship (and i'm not talking about the OTT stuff that served as coflict between Aden and Belle) they even decided at one point to stay apart because they were to different. It's also taken a long time for them to get to where they are, Geoff chose, rightfully, Melody over Nicole a long time ago and they then went through a period of awkward friends which again had their fights (the camp incident) and then Geoff realised he liked her because she was acting like a real person now, or at least less like a shallow brat and then after they finally got together it was a pretty rough road, but i think if the writers wanted both characters to keep their personalaties that was necessary. It may be the reason that they don't last in the long run, but i think their differences and more accurately their willingness to voice those opinions makes them extremely interesting, i always got the opinion with Geoff/Melody that had her mother not interfeared then everything would have been peaceful and happy and great constanty, which isn't a bad thing, it's just a bit boring.

No resurrection if that's what your refurring to but with Nicole and Aden involved things never stay depressing for long. Thanks for all the comments guys, next chapter should be up tomorrow night.

I've always loved Nicole's chracter and i used to feel bad for that because she was such a brat but i think it was because, good or bad, she always made things interesting. Even if you hate her you can't really deny that things are never dull when she's in a storyline. I agree with those who have mentioned the positive effect on Geoff, he resembles dishwater when he's not with her (and in particular, Melody) but the storyline with Nicole has really brought the focus on his belief's and his inner conflicts to the surface making him a lot more exiting to watch. And don't even get me started on Nicole when she's with Aden

There is zero communication between this pair, there is chemistry betwen them, that's obvious, but they have such mis-communication and confusion, Geoff is so clueless and Nicole is so defensive, I can't really see them working much longer, they just clash far to much. Which is dissapointing because i love them, but they're so damn frustrating.

I love the fifth one But they're all great.

I love this and i should have got around to saying that earlier, is nicely written and i love all the 'What if's' that your making. Good job.

I read this on another forum regarding Aden but it also seems to fit here, whatever has happened to Melody, no matter how traumatic or painfull, it is a reason for her behaviour, not an excuse. Just like Aden, she should have to face the consequences of her actions, but it seems like everyone in the bay (excluding Nicole and last night Ruby.) Are treating her like a china doll and letting her get away with what she is doing, using Melody's admittedly horrible background as an excuse for her antics (She even tried it herself with Mr Bartlett). IMO Melody needs to face consequences and fast, just like everyone else would regardless of their backgrounds. She can't expect to get away with things because of her past. Feel sympatetic for her by all means but don't let it justify some of the things she has done. My opinion is vastly uneducated, so i hope i didn't offend anyone.

I don't know what they've done with Melody's character but i don't think i want to know. Normally when they have a character going throught their rebellious phase they're careful never to push them to a place that the damage that is done can't be reversed, but i think they've just made Melody too unlikeable, too annoying, i don't think i can ever go back to liking her now, no matter if she repents.
