Why don't they hire teens anymore ... everyone working on the show seems to be 20 or older. The teens seem to be played by people in early 20's eg Ava and Andrew.

I thought Irene's set had been discontinued. I saw a promo for next week that looks like her place but different. Could that be why we haven't seen it for so long they were doing it up (building delays with at the moment ) John's place hasn't been seen for ages either (last time i remember Justin barging in after arguing with Leah) though i don't think it has been as long as Irene's. Last time we saw Irene's place Cash was getting ready to propose to Jasmine that was almost 8 months ago. Bree moved into the bay and I thought she would live with Irene . I remember someone wanting to stay at Irene's overnight too for a place for the night since then but they didn't show the set it was just a conversation at the diner . Irene been stuck at the diner a lot lately for most of her scenes and interacting with people at the tables rather than at her house.

Saw a pic on Ben's IG taken a week ago and she still looks the same as years ago ! .. was a week ago .

What happened to Marilyn , she wasn't written out of the show was she ?

Above the average and humid. Nights supposed to be averaging 15.7 deg but instead over 20 each night. Will Winter ever arrive?

Today it was Min 24 Max 27. Sounds hot but being near the sea we get a seabreeze being on the coast. A few days ago the humidity was as bad as Darwin and yet Yeppoon is miles from there.

This time last week it was 38 with 5 percent humidity, today it was 24 with 35 percent humidity.

What happened to the friendship with Nicole and Ruby. I haven't seen any interaction with the two for a while. Have the writers forgotten about it ?

Sorry for the double post... Did a bit of a search around for the information and the only thing I could find was a reference that suggested when she did The Saddle Club she was 17, same age as her character.Which would make her 23/24 now.(Which might make her younger than Luke...) I am pretty sure Luke is 24. Why Home and Away gets older people to play teens (Like America) is beyond me. Only Annie and Nicole are playing their real ages.
