  1. It was when Casey was about to charge over to Leah's (I think) to confront Kyle and Bianca said to him to calm down and think about it, why would Kyle risk what he had with the Braxton's by going after Tamara and Casey said because she was worth it, he'd chose her in a second. I'm sure there was mass swooning in the episode discussion at the time.↲ I'm not trying to excuse Kyle's behaviour. I'm just saying it's interesting that Casey basically said he'd chose Tamara over his family if he had to. Why it would be surprising Kyle would do the same when he's barely even a part of the family, I don't know.
  2. A few weeks ago Casey said he'd choose Tamara over his family in a second. Considering Kyle has only known them a few months and none of them have been that warm to him it doesn't seem such a leap in logic that he'd chose a chance at happiness over the chance of being half a Braxton when they feel like allowing him to be one.↲ Casey's statement that he'd chose her too seems more disrespectful to me. He'd pick a girl he's know for 5 minutes over a whole life with his brothers. When you think about it Kyle has known Tamara as long as he's known Casey.
  3. Shh some states may of only seen the preview not the ep yet. I think she's going off the preview rather than the episode.
  4. This is exactly my point. It says So you can see why it's unclear what will actually happen between them.
  5. ^ Where does it say that?
  6. I am confused about what will or won't happen, but I'll gladly eat my words if it turns out I'm wrong EDIT: I re- read the TV Week article and it says that after she tries to leave they "spend the night together again". Now, as they didn't actually "spend the night" together the first time I'm not sure what it means. Unless they're being literal, as in they spent the night in the same house as each other. We'll have to wait and see.
  7. You know what? Looking at the spoilers for the next few weeks I don't think anything else actually physically happens between Kyle and Tamara, other than the kiss we've already seen. That magazine article about their "steamy night" seems to have just been the kissing. So a lot of the Kyle bashing based purely on speculation seems a bit silly now.
  8. Casey wasn't there when she was found or when she woke up in the hospital. If he had been then fine, it would be out of order for Kyle to be stepping in and interfering. As it is Kyle was the only one who could be there for her when she needed someone and for him now to just walk away could be harmful to Tamara's recovery. To have just left her sitting in the hospital with nobody to help her, with no memory at all of where she was, or to just drop her off at the Braxton's house on her own when she got out would have been pretty terrible behaviour from all involved. I'm going to stop having this same conversation over and over as it's clear to me that some people have a very black and white view of certain things and I'm wasting my time trying to have a rational conversation. Oh, and I could be wrong, but I don't remember Kyle actually telling Casey to "back off". He said it might be better if he stayed in the main house rather than the apartment for the night. Casey was the one that decided to take off and stay at the hospital instead, after Tamara made it clear that she didn't want him to stay.
  9. Maybe because she's lost her memory and can't actually go anywhere or to anyone? Just spit balling here.
  10. In some ways Kyle is the perfect person to be helping Tamara as he knows her and knows the bits of her life she's forgotten, but unlike Casey, he doesn't really have a relationship to salvage. Casey, understandably, wants his girlfriend back, but that's obviously going to affect his ability to remain calm and patient and allow the memories to come back in their own time. Kyle on the other hand didn't really have a relationship with Tamara after he promised Casey he'd back off, so it's not like he's desperate for her memory to come back, he has no real personal motives there that he would try and force her to remember, or become upset when she doesn't. Obviously when she starts to develop feelings for him it will be a different matter but so far I think of all the people who could help her Kyle is the best choice.
  11. Especially considering the reason she's in the state she's in is because someone else kidnapped her and tried to kill her. "Listen, I know you can't remember why you lost your memory but I'm just going to tell you all these horrible things that happened to you in that period of time and we'll see if it fixes you."
  12. Well actually it is. Kyle has been lying by omission. Yes, he’s told Tamara he’s Casey’s brother but that’s all he’s told her. The inference being Casey’s great, so Kyle must be too. He has never mentioned any of the terrible things he did to both Casey and her. Its true Tamara isn’t being physically forced to do anything but there is certainly a bit of psychological manipulation going on. Kyle is acting in his own best interests, not Tamara’s. I'm not sure how you get that that is what Kyle is inferring by saying how great Casey is? You can't just tell an amnesia patient everything they've forgotten, they have to allow it to come back naturally, as Sid has repeatedly told them all. Why didn't Casey tell Tamara that she couldn't stay with Kyle because of what had happened? He's also "lying by omission", so I suppose he's psychologically manipulating her too? April didn't bother to tell her that she hated Kyle before either, and she's supposed to be a medical professional! We should probably have her kicked out of med school for her part in the psychological manipulation of a sick girl.
  13. Exactly. It's not like Tamra has lost her memory entirely, only the past few months. She's still the same person she was when she met Casey in the desert. I mean you could argue that this is a "what if...." situation, what if Tamara had met Kyle in normal circumstances before she met Casey? Would things be different? I'd assume, or hope, that when she does regain her memory she just has a completely different opinion of Kyle. Basing opinions on the brief spoilers we have is a silly idea, we have no idea what actually happens between them in the next few weeks.
  14. Well yes, people might have an issue with befriending Kyle after what he did, but even to have him talking to someone else. Has he ever been into the diner? Marilyn was willing to see past all of Danny's questionable history when she was sort of dating him. Surely she'd have a chat with him while he waits for his coffee or something? No idea how old he is. He's younger than Brax and Heath, but that's all I know.
  15. Right, must've been since he was 11 then. I heard him say 11 when talking to Tamara, but I couldn't figure out if he said until, or since. Maybe we'll get to know more when
  16. I quite like Tamara but I find as with most characters her being around Casey really drags her down. She's much more likable when interacting with literally anyone else. No offense to Casey fans but I do find him unbearably dull and annoying. I was glad when they brought Tamara into it because it meant that Sasha (one of my faves) could be set free of the Casey shackles, but unfortunately I've grown to quite like Tamara in her own right and now I have to put up with her and Casey for the foreseeable future. To be fair to her I don't think we've seen that much of her outside her relationship with Casey. We've seen tiny bits of her interactions at school but other than the Braxton's it's mainly been Sasha and her arguing when she first showed up. I'm not sure we really know her well enough to judge whether she's a good catch for either Kyle or Casey. Also, as far as her looks go, I think they've underplayed them a little bit on the show. I've seen pictures from events where she's all dolled up and she looks much better in real life. The character is supposed to be a bit of a tom boy, no? I mean she told April she didn't even own a dress other than her school uniform. Obviously looks are not, or should not, be the most important part when it comes to deciding if you like a character or not.
  17. What I find interesting is the fact that although he's a Braxton he's not a River Boy, so there's a disconnect there already with the other brothers because to them it's pretty much the same thing. Obviously Heath, Brax and Casey are very close but it's not really a normal brotherly relationship, a lot of it come from being part of this bigger gang. Also, from what we know, Kyle was on his own dealing with Danny, whereas the others had each other when Danny took off. Kyle is used to looking out for just himself, now he's trying to be a part of this bigger family but obviously still has the instincts he grew up with. So there's some similarities between them, but also some pretty major differences. Which makes it interesting to see. I find his sudden love for Tamara kind of odd, although I think they might actually make a nice couple. She's been nothing but mean to him for long enough. She's barely civil to him for a few days and BAM! he loves her? I do wish they'd have him interact with some other characters though. Is he ever not in the restaurant or at home? Also, just a quick question, what do we know about Kyle's past? I missed the episodes where he was introduced, so I'm not sure of anything other than he's Danny's son with someone else. And the other week when offering to tutor Tamara he said something about being in foster care either until he was 11, or since he was 11? Is that all we know?
  18. I don't entirely agree with that. I think Heath was trying with April because he was upset that Bianca had stayed with Liam and didn't see him as worth anything more than a bit of a fling. I think he was trying to be slightly better with April to prove to himself more than anything that he was capable of being in a relationship and considering peoples feelings and basically being a grown up. The fact that he chose to do it with the little sister of the woman he supposedly loved was a stupid idea and, as I said before, has ruined Heath/Bianca for me and has tainted Dex/April too. When Dex/April were broken up Dex was pretty much the same person he was before, he was trying to help Dallas and her son, he made friends with Lottie immediately, was supportive of Indy when she and Romeo broke up, he was generally just the nice guy he always was. April on the other hand turned into a nympho (Heath is hot, I can't blame her) but he behaviour seemed to come completely out of the blue. She hurt Dex, she almost destroyed her relationship with Bianca, put additional stress on the Liam/Bianca relationship, and generally seemed like a completely different character for a while. Then they wanted her back with Dex and all of a sudden we're supposed to believe she's back to the girl she was before they broke up. Meh. Another thing that annoys me about nearly all the couples on H&A is once they break up they have barely any interactions at all until they want them to get back together and then all of a sudden they remember each other exists. I think would have liked to have seen Dex and April rebuild the strong friendship they had before they got together the first time and go from there rather than have them just get back together like that.
  19. I didn't like Dex with Lottie, at all, but I did like Dallas, I wish they'd kept her around. I absolutely loved Dex and April the first time around but since they've gotten back together it doesn't feel the same. I still quite like them, and they have some nice scenes together, but it's just not the same as it was. My issue is with what went on while they were broken up. I didn't like her with Heath, and it's ruined Heath and Bianca for me too, but that's a different issue entirely. They were so well suited when they first got together, after he helped her with the OCD stuff and when he was secretly pining for her when she got back with Xavier. I was so happy when they finally got together, and even after they got together, which sometimes with TV couples is the boring part. But it's just not the same this time around. Maybe it's because every second scene they have together they're jumping into bed. Now I am not a prude, believe me, everyone should get some, but it's almost like their connection now is purely physical where as before it was a much deeper connection, if that makes sense.....
  20. No reason they can't coexist, I just think they kind of play the same role and I like John better. As for Irene, she wasn't a great mum to her own kids, but there was a reason for that, and since she's been off the grog she does actually have a pretty good track record with the kids she's taken in. So it doesn't seem at all strange to me that people would go to her for advice.
  21. I agree with you. I've said before that Palmer reminds me of the old Alf (which I guess is the young Alf). I loved Alf when he used to act all high and mighty and seemed to think that running the only general store in town gave him the right to act as the King of his own tiny little empire and boss everyone around. Palmer reminds me of that guy. Even at his absolute worst, I never saw him as "OMG what a terrible guy" but more of a weasel who enjoyed throwing his weight around. Not to mention that Alf was a pretty terrible parent to Duncan in a very similar way to Palmer was with Trey and no one seems to hold that against him. I always wondered why people held Alf's advice in such high esteem. I mean he's whatever age he is and he's a border in someone else's house, has how many failed businesses under his belt, random kids off god knows where most of the time. He's not exactly the model of success now is he? I suppose Palmer's the same. Failed marriage, lunatic step son. I can't remember who it was asking him for parenting advice recently but I found it hilarious that nobody seems to remember what a bad parent he was to Trey.
  22. Controversial opinion alert - Who needs Alf when we've got Palmer? I mean he sticks his nose in everybody's business if it affects the bay, just like Alf, but he's much more likable and serves so much more of a purpose than Alf.
  23. I've been away and only just got caught up to Australian pace. My 10 cents worth..... I do wish they could've got together without having to drag Xavier into it again, but H&A love the triangle so what can ya do? To be fair to April and Dex they did try to stay apart until they could tell Xavier, and she did break up with him pretty fast. Sometimes stories like this drag on for ages. Sure they didn't tell him why she was dumping him and he found out himself, but still, I think it was dealt with pretty well. Someone complained about how Dex was feeling sorry for himself that Xavier would probably hate him, but what would you have him do? Would you prefer that he didn't care what Xavier thought about him, that he did just steal his friends girlfriend without giving him a second thought? I'd be more inclined to feel sorry for Xavier if he wasn't such a serial dater. He's heart broken one minute and got a new girl on the go the next minute. How am I supposed to believe he cares about any of his girlfriends when he moves on so quickly? He'd barely broken up with Ruby when he met April. He was chasing Miranda pretty soon after April dumped him. There was literally one episode between Miranda leaving and him getting back with April, and last week he was off with Summer and now he's on to this new girl already. It's probably more the writers fault, but it makes it hard for me to feel sorry for him when he seems to go after anything that moves.
  24. I think they've set Health's character with classic Middle Child Syndrome. And as a middle child of a same sex family I can relate all too well. He plays the part well and hopefully over the coming months the writers will delve further into his character and show us more than the 'bad boy' exterior. I think he and Bianca have a lot more storylines together and I think there will be some kind of connection again before Liam returns. Jeez, I pitty Liam if he has to compete with Heath to win his lady back. Unless he's been hitting the gym hard in that rehab place I wouldn't even bother trying mate
  25. I think whenever Pa Braxton shot through Brax was still too young and involved in whatever to be there for Heath the way he is there now for Casey. So Heath must feel a bit put out by how much everyone likes Casey and wants to help him, whereas he got nothing and I assume this is why he reacted so badly to Bianca giving him the brush off. We haven't really seen much of him since they arrived so it's good to see a bit more of him now. I might even like him better than Brax now
