Funny! Indeed. Aden has look that would make her shut up. She certainly is different in this fic. I kinda like it. I wonder what Amanda has to say.

Miles used to be one of my favourite characters since he arrived. He still kinda is but I don't love nearly as much as I used to. He has such a quirky sense of humor. His lines crack me up all the time. His character was also very interesting and different from the others. Which is a plus because it's not often that HAA can come up with a character that is not the carbon copy of another character. I love his friendship with Roman. I look forward to every scene they are in together. I wish Miles and Jazz had lasted. They were so different yet so perfect for each other. I loved how patient he was with Jai when he first arrived, acted out and wasn't acting grateful for all of Miles help. In the end his patience was definitely worth it(you'd think that would make him understand that all Melodys ungrateful behaviour isn't because shes a spoilt brat and grounding her isn't the answer but spending time with and talking to her is). His scenes with Ollie are adorable. Hes like a big kid himself. Recently though I haven't felt very positive towards him. His relationship with Kirsty and the terrible way hes been handling the Melody situation is making it very hard for me to like anything about him at the moment. I hated the way he treated Ric after the whole kissing Kirsty thing. Ric was really sorry yet he kept making comments to everyone about how Ric ruined things for Kirsty. The way Kirsty kept going on as if Ric was going to pounce on her at any second if she moved in, I would have thought Miles would have atleast been on his side and tried to explain to her that Ric just made a mistake. Forget Kirsty feeling uncomfortable, I would think Ric should have felt more uncomfortable about everything as everyone in his own house was looking at him as if he was the most horrible person in the world for making a stupid mistake. Also didn't like the way Miles let her get away with screaming at Jai(after the whole Ollie hurting his arm thing) without saying nothing but one small comment about it. And now he spends more of his time running after Kirsty then helping the extremely troubled teen who lives in his house and clearly needs him. Hes okay letting a bunch of teenagers deal with her. Right now I don't think hes fit at all to be a foster partent. If he was he would have realised that when a teen acts out they are ungrateful, do unlikeable things, and treat the people who care about them like crap. But you don't just ground them and finish with it you need to get involved and try and help them whether they think they need the help or not. I guess thats something he didn't get from Sally. Maybe he needs to phone her and have a long chat where she explains what being a foster parent is all about and that troubled kids don't just get better because you give them a loving house to live in but it's takes alot of hard work, patience and time if he wants to help them. The way hes handling this situation irritates me so much. Especially since I expected so much more from someone like him. It's a good thing that Kirsty wasn't in his life when Jai first came and needed him. Because who knows where Jai would be now? I hope this relationship ends soon so Miles can go back to being one of my favourites. I miss the person he used to be in the beginning of the year. Before life for him became all about Kirsty.

Exactly. She would have to move on at some point. Martha may love Jack now but there is no reason to say she wouldn't, in the fututre, be able to move on and love Roman just as much.

Well it certainly worked. Angelo does bring some comic relief to this story. I wish we got this show where I live. It sounds so good.

This part was so funny. Is Angelos character really based on a specific character from the show you wrote about(can't remember the name) or have you made him up? Because his just awesome(well maybe not him but his lines). So Belles a little bit of softie after all. I don't know what came over me. Must be firing people. > Loved this line. Can't wait for the next chapter. Nice hint. I know what I want it to mean but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I just counted 5 characteristics from that list that describes me in someway. And I certainly don't have any deep dark secret thats been with from the time I was a child, I'm not necessarily angry at the world, or in any anti-social. So I'm not sure what the this proves or what the purpose of it was. Honestly I don't know how anyone could watch that scene where tried to inject his dad and not consider what he was going through as a breakdown. The words he used 'I just want this to be over' shows how desperate and he was. And by the time he said that he sounded, broken, like all his hope was gone, and like he couldn't take it anymore not just like you hurt me and now you're going to pay. And as for before that, when he first entered the shed it was like he was gone mad a little. He went from completely mad, to blocking out everyone(that scene where they showed him just walk around not focusing on anyone), to desperate and wanting it to end because he couldn't take it anymore. When he threatenned other people or his grandad that time with Belle it was different and if you go back and watch you'll clearly see how different he acted, that was like typical Aden, but these scenes with his father in the shed even when he was screaming and angry at his father he seemed like he was losing his mind and gone mad and thats why I see this has different then all his previous actions. And a breakdown doesn't last 10 minutes or so. It's not a spur of the moment thing. Sometimes breakdowns happen over the course of a few days(and sometimes even more then 2).

OMG! This was hilarious. I love this Melody. Poor Geoff, he didn't stand a chance. This scene completely made this chapter for me. Aden and his 'M' words were funny. Annie had some good lines too. Angelo, I can only imagine what hes plotting now. As for Geoff and the music, I can't imagine what kind of music he would like but I can't see any reason why he wouldn't like that. Aww that last scene with the two of them, does anything get more adorable then that? I really enjoyed this one. I have to point this out. All the Aden and Belle scenes have been very short and simple in this fic. And that seems to make it seem more special and sweet. I don't know why but I'm enjoying it more this way then if it was long dialogued filled scenes(which is strange because I love those kind scenes). But I feel with this story it works better this way. This one-shot was amazing. I don't think anyone has written them like this before. It started of so angsty yet ended up being quite sweet in the end. I really loved it. And after reading this one I can't wait to read your other one.

I couldn't imagine myself what on earth anyone could by for someone like Roman so I'm not surprised he mainly got money. The scene in the beginning with Aden and Belle was so adorable. You write their relationship in the this story so well. And I loved the engraving on the ring she gave him. Great present.

Here is something thats been annoying me for so long. Are we mean't to assume the whole town now knows about Adens abuse or just those in the court room. Because it hasn't been properly mentioned. If everyone does know then the lack of reaction from everyone is completely unrealistic. I would think atleast Irene, Geoff, or even Annie would have had some sort of reaction to finding out about this. But if they don't know(and it's just those that where in the court room) it also doesn't make sense because the way he acted about telling the truth it implied that if he did the whole town would know. Roman made some kind of comment once. After Adens first day at work he asked something about they treated him but from the words he used he could have clearly just mean't how they treated him because they would know about they trail. It doesn't really make it clear if he was asking how they treated him because they know about the abuse or just because they know he was on trail for attempted murder. I don't know if this as been clarified on the show at anytime and I missed it or we are supposed to just believe everyone knows and noone had any sort of reaction to it.

I used to love Charlie when she first arrived. She may have been a little to opinionated and stuff but it was interesting to watch how she would react to things. But now thats completely changed and I struggle to find anything in her scenes to make me like her again. It's also a shame because there was a time when I could have seen her becoming one of my favourites. I remember Charlies apology to Belle in the police station sometime after the beating. It was when they told her about Nobby. And I was so irritated by it. It's like she basically said shes sorry that Belle had to go through that but atleast Angelo is off the hook now so that makes everything okay. I think with everything Belles been through and everything Angelo did actually do that isn't really going to mean much to her. Charlie even managed to make the apology to Belle all about Angelo. Like I said I used to love her, especially during the OC, but ever since she became Angelos personal cheerleader she just gets more annoying by the day. Not only because she feels the need to go off at everyone who doesn't see things her way but because of how unprofessional she has become. Ever since the investigation about Belles assault started she had been making excuses for Angelo on everything(even before she knew he was innocent). Wanting to protect your friend is one thing but as a police officer you'd atleast expect her to do her job properly or excuse herself from the case if she doesn't think she can be unbiased. As for the Belle/Aden stuff I think yes she had a right to be upset on behalf of her friend(and Belle did deserve those comments in the diner but thats all) but when she started going off at everyone else for being nice to them she made me mad. I'm sorry but did she honestly expect Roman to be mean to Aden(who is basically family) and hold it against him for what happened. Her comments at Romans place was uncalled for, she acted as if she walked in on Aden and Belle dancing away having a good time without a care in this world when they were merely having a quiet dinner at his own home. And I noticed she seems to have an opinion about everything when she thinks someone is doing something wrong but we are yet to see have a go at Angelo for all the stuff hes pulled( accessing Belles phone records, the continiuos threats towards her, harrassing Aden during his community service and willing to jeopardise the future of a teenger and be smug about it). But apparently because he got cheated on and was accused of something he didn't do(which she didn't know at the time that he didn't do it) that makes all those stuff he did do acceptable to her. It not wrong at all and how dare anyone treat Angelo as anything but the saint he is. I find her to be the biggest hippocrite at the moment. The way she used to preach on about what being a good cop was all about when she first arrived, now look at the way shes been handling that investigation. She has the nerve to be upset that Aden would accuse her of giving Angelo special treatment yet thats exactly what she was doing since the investigation began. I mean who tells a suspect facts about a case. Who discusses private information with them. And when all the evidence points to him still makes excuses for him. If thats not special treatment I don't know what is. I know a lot of people like Angelo and Charlie together but I feel like ever since they've been spending lots of time toghether all her irritating traits have become more annoying whereas a few months ago I used to find her insecurity and opinions entertaining to watch even if I didn't agree with them. As for the way she goes on about Roman you would think he was a horrible monster. I mean seriously, would she rather him stay with her even if his heart wasn't in the relationship. I think he did the right thing by ending it instead of stringing her along when he couldn't see a future for them. Long post, I know. But I'm glad I got that off my chest. It's just that this womans hypocrasy and inability to see reason and respect that not everyone is going to agree with her on everything is getting on my nerves. And it gets tiring to read when some people on different sites praise her for being a good cop when she acts more unprofeesional then even Jack. I think it's starting to say something about her ability to do her job right when I'm starting to see Jack of all people as the good cop in the room.

If Jack doesnt survive the cliffhanger it would be nice to see them try again... way down the line though, Martha needs to grieve and be single for a decent amount of time first, and she's not going to forget Jacky overnight We all know what happens to Martha's relationships when she tries to move on before she's ready and I wouldnt want her or Roman to get hurt again.

Dammit Belle, a little sensitivity wouldn't kill you. I can understand her snapping but seriously shes not the only one hurting. She didn't have to say that out loud. This is hard for him too. I realise that wasn't her most sensitive moment but I was just trying to portray how uncomfortable she felt being there and in a way she was using sarcasm as her defence mechanism. Thanks for the nice comments everyone No, I get it. I do wish she hadn't said it out loud for Angelos sake but I do get why she reacted that way as well. I just really felt bad for Angelo. But a little ranting towards Belle made it all better.

Just because she loves Jack with all her heart now doesn't mean she won't ever be able to love someone else just as much in the future. While I do believe Martha loves Jack, going to back to him time after time isn't really proof of that. Cassie used to run back to Macca all the time but was that proof that she wouldn't be able to love anyone else as much as him, no it wasn't. I wouldn't want to see Roman and Martha together right away because(as much as I hate to admit it) she does love Jack more then anything but in the future I could see Roman and Martha working out as a couple really well. And if Martha gave Roman a chance I think she could grow to love him.

I really enjoyed this pairing. It was one of the few times in the past that I didn't have the strong urge to change the channel when Martha was on. In the beginning( before she started pining for Jack) she seemed so much more carefree and happy with him. And I actually found myself caring about her. Roman was also so much more mature then Jack and I think Martha needed someone like that in her life. Roman may not have been the love of her life or anything but I still found this relationship so much more exciting to watch then the boring, cheesy, and cringeworthy Jack/Martha relationship. I hope they do end up together. Not anytime soon, but somwhere down the line. Don't know if it will happen but I'm still going to hope.

Good chapter. I know I should probably hate the new guy but I'm too intrigued by him to hate him. I was happy when Belle sent him the message because I can't wait to find out more about him. It seems like things are about get interesting. And can't wait even more for Aden to find out. I can imagine all the lovely fight scenes right now. I do hope this storyline is going to be more than just some guy who wants her and probabaly turns pyscho when he can't get her. Because thats usually the way most storylines like this go. It would be really dissappointing if that happened considering how interesting I already find his character to be. The theory about it being Adens brother sounds good. I liked the little Roman, Aden, Belle scene. Please update soon. Can't wait to find out more about this mystery man.

Six chapters. I came online to find six new chapters. You seriously know how to spoil us. Belle and Adens relationship is so sweet. I enjoyed every scene. Their ' I love you' to each other was perfect. And his thoughts at the end of the last chapter was lovely. As for Belle I'm so happy to read about all the progress shes making. Loved how she told Anita off. The scene with Amanda and David was everything I hoped it would be. As much as I love Amanda on the show I think this Amanda truly deserved the slap she got. Although I have to admit she is confusing me a bit. And I don't know if I'm ready to believe shes completely evil yet. One time shes refusing to leave him even though she now knows what he did(and I hate her) and then the speech she gave him makes me think she isn't has terrible has she seems. Have to say I'm happy Aden attacked David. With so much to enjoy I even managed to completely block out and ignore the ever predictable Geoff/Nic pairing popping up in yet another Adelle fic. One more thing, I totally loved you adding that small description of Drew. It's so true. Can't wait for the next update.

I want that to but not right now. As much as I love Belle I'm enjoying watching her struggle to cope. It's good to see someone actually sufferring to get back on their feet after they've been through alot and not just get over it in a couple of days. I'm looking forward to the very dark downward spiral thats coming. And I hope they do it properly and not finish with it in 3 weeks or something. But when thats over then I want atleast some Aden and Belle fluff. Ever since they got together I don't think they've even had atleast two weeks to just be a couple without all the drama. It would nice to just see them be happy.

This was such a funny chapter. I found Ric, Mattie, Belle, Aden, and even geoff of all people to be really funny. They all made me laugh with their comments. Enjoyed Belle bringing up Adens issues there for a while. And him letting her know that hes okay. Please update soon.

Now I really hope you do the sequel. I love Melody here. She is so funny and the rivalry between her and Belle is so much fun to read. So more Mel would be good but as long as she doesn't become evil and start plotting against the paper. The preview sounds good.

I was actually impressed with the way Nicole handled things with Aden.She liked him but she wasn't prepared to just be a drunken fling, she had more self-respect than that.Okay, calling him disgusting wasn't very nice but she was still willing to be there for him and instead he turned on her and called her a tease. When was this exactly. Straight after she screamed at him he left. And then the next morning she calls him pathetic and that was because he left her and went to Belle. His father is in the hospital I'm sure thats what he needs to hear right now. Lets not forget in the hospital itself she was more focused on telling Belle to leave then walking straight to him. Afterwards the only time she was ever around was when she needed a friend during that jealousy bit. Please tell me where you got self respect from all this. In the beginning before and just after Aden got with Belle, Nic as always been a spoilt brat and called him names everytime she didn't get want she wanted where he was concerned. Or maybe the self respect you're talking is the one where, in public, she would scream at Roman for daring to have a girlfriend and not paying attention to her every second of the day. Compare that with Belle:Some guy she hardly knows comes staggering into her room drunk and crawls into bed with her and she doesn't seem to mind that much.Hardly what I'd call self-respect.Maybe she did it in a jokey way but Nicole did seem to be trying to get him and Belle back together.And yes, I agree helping him skip school was a bad idea and I'm disappointed that that was one of many occasions when the consequences of Aden's actions were just ignored. Okay now I'm not even sure if we watch the same show. Belle clearly had a problem with him being there. She, in the end, gave in but made sure he slept on the floor. He even came onto the bed in the middle of the night and she kicked him out yet again. How he ended back in the bed in the morning we didn't see but the way she looked at him when talking to Annie clearly stated she didn't know he did. As for even letting him stay on the floor in the first place, she was in the hospital the whole time she clearly saw how he was coping. And also listening to him talk about his past. After seeing what kind of day hes had would kicking him out have made her a better person? And it's also not like hes a stranger. They work together and up until then she was starting to see a different side to and starting to like him. But I guess she should have been like Nicole and made him feel even worse than he already was then she would have self respect too. Maybe Morag and Roman weren't helping Aden much prior to the kidnapping but then he'd pretty much removed himself from them and spent all his time hanging out in Belle's room.Like I said before, there was a lot more going on than we saw.Roman and Morag kept saying they were going to visit Aden at the clinic but did we see those scenes?No, because it wasn't about him and Belle.For that matter, he and Nicole went away together after the trial and her finding out about his abuse but do we get to see what they discussed?Of course not. Right so the fact that the two adults weren't more involved in his life was his fault too. Not because Roman had the baby and Charlie on his mind that he was barely making any time for his own daughter, it was because Aden was in Belles room all the time. And not because Morag was worried about Martha and then Ross came along, then all the stuff with Charlie but it's because Aden was hanging around in Belles room. And as for Nic and Adens camping trip, did we see Mattie and Cassies road trip, or Jack and Martha trip when they first got back together, or tonys time away when Rachel went missing, but no it's not because sometimes we only hear about stuff instead of seeing them it's because it isn't about Belle and Aden. Belle had every reason not to stand by Aden, I agree, but then she went and did exactly that without anything happening to make her change her mind Heres a change of argument if I ever saw one. Just few posts back you critisized Belle about leaving. I'm all for people disagreeing about Adelle and even sometimes I like seeing why but it's posts like that, that makes me realise that there is no point reading your posts on this topic because you are always just going to find any reason to attack each of them. Whether you believe them or not. Feeling strongly about them is one thing but when you just going to choose any event and try turn it to suite your hatred of them then it makes reading your posts tiresome which is a shame cause I find your post(on others esp Melody) very interesting.
