Geoff and Belle have a nice little friendship going on in this fic. Bartlett was a clever one this chapter. Funny as well. And good for Belle, finally figuring everything out. Another thing that I like about this story is that the characters are so different from the show that I'm liking characters I usually don't(Drew, Bartlett, Annie, Geoff). Update soon.

Annie, Geoff, and Nicole all worried about Belle was sweet. I'm glad Irene is becoming involved and wanting to help Belle get through this. Belle is just heartbreaking to read about in this fic. So glad Belle is talking to Aden. Considering how he was in the beginning of this fic with everyone I was surprised that he was so kind to her and even offerred to listen to her. What happenned to Belle already sounds terrible and we haven't ever found out about it fully yet. Can't wait for the next chapter.

LuvAden you just summed up everything I feel about this couple. I also believe(and pointed it out a few times) that they are the ultimate cliche. The relationship they have can be found in almost every teen drama on T.V. I don't mind opposite attract storylines but this one just too predictable. Them sleeping together on the island bugged me as well. Just months ago he was so nervous kissing a girl for the first time yet on the island one kiss and hes suddenly okay with sleeping with her. Geoffs religious beliefs was such a huge part of his character and I still find it hard to believe that all it took was one kiss(mind you from a girl he just decided he liked like almost two weeks ago) to make him forget about it. And for those who say that he always had feelings for Nicole from the start are wrong because yes he thought she was good looking(like any boy his age would)but the second he saw what she was really like he did anything he could to get away from her. This feelings only happenned after that random friendship they formed. It also annoyed me when brought up the no sex thing once they got back from the island that Nicole didn't even respect his decision for more than few hours. She was acting as if him not wanting to have sex with her made it seem like he didn't care. She treated his beliefs as if it was joke. And then she had the nerve to be upset with when he was upset that she wasn't taking that seriously. It really is hard to feel sorry for Nicole. It seems like ever since the OC the writers have gone out of the way to turn her into a saint at the expense of Melodys character. Everyone seems to have completely forgotten what she used to be like. I love the way people hated Melody for saying that Geoff could never love someone like Nicole but what about all time Nicole used to make Melody feel terrible about herself(comments about how she should take those nice clothes because she clearly needed it and making Melody believe she could have Geoff anytime)). But now Nicole is being written into this innocent victim who has done nothing to deserve anything bad happen to her. They truly are the ultimate cliche. Seriously they get stranded on a island where one kiss and the extremely religious boy suddenly doesn't care about his beliefs that he used to preach about all the time and decides to have sex with beautiful girl he had just developed a crush on. Once they get of the island naturally the boy has a moral dilemma while the girl ''just wants to be close to him". Then they break up because shocker he realises she not trustworty. And then a pregnancy scare. I won't go on anymore because I feel like I'm typing up the plot of a cheesy and campy straight to DVD teen movie. I have a feeling I could warm to Nicole if she wasn't with Geoff or if they stop ruining Melodys character to makes hers more likeable. And seriously Nicole has always had a few good lines here and there but she was hardly the queen of witty remarks that has become lately. If you look at the way Nicole been written it's clear the writers are trying to turn her into this perfect character. I really can't take this relationship seriously. Them and their storylines are nothing different then the dozens of other teen relationships we see on T.V. Even Annie and Jai, for me, has more depth.

Geoff and Belle are so sweet together. I love their friendship and that they feel like they can trust each. Geoffs gay. I didn't see that coming. I love it. It's going be very interesting to see where you go with his character now. Aden and Belle hanging out together was nice. Liked Belle just barging into the room. Please update soon.

I don't think I've reviewed this story before but I've been reading it since it started. I love how different this is to most fanfics here. Belles my favourite. Love how angry she seems to get most of the time over the littliest things. It's like everyones always waiting for her to snap. Poor Angelo I've lost count of the amount of times shes threatenned to kill him. Jealous Belle is awesome. It's funny watching her pretend she doesn't want Aden. Also funny is the way she keeps wanting to fire Melody. I was completely shocked when Ric died. Also love Angelo in this fic. He is just such an idiot(can't think of a better word that describes him). But a really funny one. I'm always feel like laughing when he in a scene. My favorite scene of his lately was when he went to threaten Aden but was getting scared himself. Annie is so much more likable here then on the show. Liked her entrance. Ruby and Belle being bestfriends. I like that. I love Ruby. We don't see enough of her in fanfic. So it's good to see so much of her here. Then theres Aden. Love how witty he is. He scenes with Angelo are hilarious. Love all the flirty comments to Belle. Love all the Adelle bits. Please update soon.

Wow. That was just the most amazing one-shot I've ever read. You are right this suites Matildas character so well. I'm glad you decided to post this. Honestly, even after thinking about it for a while, I can't seem to find the proper words to truly describe how I felt about this fic. I'll just say that I loved it and leave it at that. You really are an amazing person Bec, the way you feel good enough about yourself to admit to going through all this stuff.
-
Aden being the normal one and Belle being the messed up one for once sounds good. And it's definetely different.
-
Bec, It's really brave of you to not be scared to admit something like that to people. Oh Belle. Why is she refusing to get help? Well I guess it wouldn't be realistic if she just accepted their help immmediately and got better so fast. But it's so sad seeing her feel the way she does about herself at the moment. I'm not shocked though since I learn't from reading your other fics to always expect things to get really worse before they get better. I loved Irene being stern with her in the end and making her sit down and eat. I think a little tough love is needed. So Annie and Aden didn't actually sleep together. Good, because thinking of the two of them is just weird. I think I may like Nicole here. It was nice to see how worried she is about Belle. Sorry but just one more question. Has Adens grandfather sexually abused him in this fic? Some Aden and Belle interaction in the next chapter. Can't wait. I was wondering when they were going to start getting to know each other. Please update soon.

After reading this I was sitting here trying to pick out atleast one funny thing to quote but after a while I got tired because it's just way to hard to choose from. They were all absolutely funny. Drunk Belle is hilarious. I laughed the whole way through while reading this. Aden was a sweetheart too, not only for putting up with her, but that line about why climbing through the window is so appealing to him. Loved Belle hitting Aden for talking to Geoff like that(never thought I'd say that but I guess Geoff in tiny doses and on his own isn't too bad). Loved this chapter (and this time everything about it). Please update soon.
-
Who wouldn't like to believe that when any of their clothes feel tight. Aden is sweetest thing when he worries about Belle and the baby. Loved how he held her while she was on the chair and how worried he was that she was going to fall. I enjoyed this chapter. It's been a while since we got a whole chapter of Adelle fluff. They were just so cute here. And happy too which is good. That speech in the end was wonderful. I'm glad she told Aden how proud she was of him. Please update soon.

I have to agree with everyone. Cutest kid on HAA(actually more like on T.V) ever. He doesn't even need to say anything to make me smile. And hes a great little actor. Hes alot more convincing when hes crying then alot of actors on the show.
-
I hope that doesn't happen as well. I've loved this couple since they began. Some parts of their relationship have annoyed me alot and they were times I wished someone would have smack them over their heads. But the difference between them and some of the other couples at the moment is that they've never bored me at anytime. Their scenes also seems very natural. It also helps that they are played by two very talented actors. I'm really interested to see were the writers go with them next year. I wish we get some interesting storylines that don't involve them breaking up. Fighting though I don't mind. I love their angsty scenes. Right now they are about the only characters (them and maybe one or two others)keeping me interested in the show. So I hope the writers don't ruin them. The writers seem to have a thing about ruining characters/couples once they become too popular.
-
Glad Irene noticed how Belle is and wants to have a talk. Hope Belles going to be okay. I had a feeling this is the way Aden would be when he saw Annie again. Are the characters the same age as they are in the show? You are really spoiling us with the updates. I can't wait for the next one.
-
Annie and Aden. Heres something I didn't see coming. Oh Belle. I feel so sorry for her. She really needs some help. Three updates in one day. You are being really generous. Hope you keep at it.

A chapter filled with Mattie/Belle interaction and a little Amanda, Aden, Ric, and Annie, in this fic, could never be anything less than perfect. Mattie is so cute the way she gets excited over things. Loved Aden and Ric here. They were so funny. I loved every line in this chapter. Looking forward to more light and fluffy chapters till the wedding.

Just read the first two chapters. Belle is really interesting. I can't wait to find out why shes living with Irene. Please update soon.
-
This was such a lovely way to end this fic. The whole thing made me smile. I love that you made Mattie pregnant. Seeing her so happy was good. And Lucas and Cassie having a baby was good as well. Love Belle saying a few words about Geoff/Melody. I truly enjoyed every bit of Geoff/Melody you gave us because who knows when I'm going to get that again. And that she brought up Annie. While I don't like Geoff on the show you made me care for him and wanna see him be happy in this fic. Irene giving them the house was really sweet. The scene with Aden and Belle was wonderful. This whole chapter had such a happy feel to it. I loved it. After everything each of them have been through they all deserved to have a happy ending.
-
Liked the fluff. Even liked Geoff here. Annie only responding to being called Laura reminded me of my sister who, for a month or so, would only answer to us if we called her Kimberly(really loved the power rangers that one) when she was younger. Aden buying a scrap book was sweet. Can't wait to see what he has planned for their honeymoon. Please update soon.

I love that Belle said this. It is so true especially in this fic. I loved this chapter. I felt Belle was alot more in character here. I love the way she didn't apolgise for leaving. And even admitted that it was the best decision for her. The way she dealt with Nicole in this chapter reminded me of the fiesty person that she is. The scene with Aden was really good as well. I love that you added that scene with Rachel. It was my favourite in this chapter. I'm not a Rachel fan on the show but I like her here and hope we get to see more of her(and Martha as well) and Belle interacting. Those scenes make it okay for me to just ignore these occasions when Belle finds herself getting involved in all this highschool teen angst type of stuff. With all the serious types of things shes had to deal with it's nice to see her spending time and interacting with the little older characters who have more life expirance and will probably be able to relate to her more. That Aden/Belle, Belle/Rachel, Belle/Nicole(well the beginning of it anyway when she was standing her ground and sticking up for herself)scenes reminded me of why I love Belle and this story. Hope she continues that way. Aden was very mature in this chapter. Hes certainly come along way. It was good to see him be so understanding. I'm glad, he as well, knows Nicole cares for him but she should still have not interfered because it was not her place to have a go at Belle no matter how much she seems to think it is. I'm probably in the minority here but I hope Belle doesn't tell Aden how she feels. It would be good for Aden to go out with someone else and then decide on his own whether or not he wants to be with her or not without knowing that Belle wants him back. I like Leah and Angelo being together. Enjoyed this chapter(most parts of it anyway) and looking forward to the next one.

I can see why Nicole would feel like this. It's more the way she expresses that opinion of hers that gets to me. She makes it seem like being away from Aden all this time is a walk in the park for Belle. She never seems to care that this all isn't just hard on Aden but Belle as well. Considering what Belle went through just before leaving a little sympathy from Nicole wouldn't be asking for much. As for Belle not calling. Was Nicole really expecting Belle to call Aden. Did she miss the point of why Belle had to leave? The whole idea of Belle leaving was because she felt the only way she could deal with this was to be away from everyone. If she thought she could be around Aden and still handle the stuff going on in her life then I'm sure she wouldn't have left in the first place leaving the people she considers her family behind. She needed to get away completely in order to focus on that. And calling Aden would have probably made her spend more time questioning her decision and worrying about him instead of getting herself together. I'm pretty sure that wasn't easy for her but it was what she to do. These issues that Aden and epecially Belle lately have had aren't you're average teen angst stuff but rather serious ones so if shes going to have a go at someone for it then she should atleast be a little more mature and try and see it from both sides. It's the least she could do considering how serious some of the stuff Aden and Belle have been through. Belle is dissappointing me abit as well. The thing I've always loved about her is how she sticks up for what she believes in. So I found it a little out character the way she didn't stick by her decision to leave. She made the right one choosing do something for herself for once and I hate the way shes letting Nicole make her feel guilty about it. And I'm sorry Belle believing Nicole could make her life hell, considering the way Belle used to be and what shes survived lately, the idea of Belle finding that nothing but highly amusing is certainly not in character with who she is. Unless you made a few tweaks and she isn't the same girl who went toe to toe with Amanda(who is ten times more imitating than Nicole could be) and didn't care or had more catfights with Mattie and Cassie than I can count and been kidnapped atleast twice and so much more. I honestly don't mean this too sound in anyway that I don't think you are anything less than a brilliant writer because you are. It's just, what I felt was, Nicoles inability to try and see things from Belles side to Belle feeling very out of character in this one that made not enjoy this chapter as much as I have been enjoying the rest of this. I have no doubt that I'll be back to gushing about in the future.

I know you love Nicole but the girl has got to learn to keep her opinions to herself. I know she loves Aden and all but never seems to consider Belles ones when shes constantly shooting her mouth off in this fic. This is the second time shes made Belle feel terrible for choosing to look out for herself instead of constantly putting Aden first. Belle loves Aden and thats good but she can't be expected to constantly put her own feelings aside about things so she doesn't hurt his feelings. I don't think Nicole sees this. She seems to think that Belle loving Aden means she has to constantly put him first even if it means not being able to deal with her own issues. Belle can't always be around to save Aden. If shes feeling protective of Aden then she could have told Belle all this properly without making her feel like the worst person in the world for putting her own needs first for once. I completely agreed with Belles decision to get away. Nicoles expectation that just because you love somebody you should put your own issues aside just because they can't cope without you is hardly what I call mature or an opinion that should be respected. I honestly wished Belle had held her ground about the decision she made(going away to sort herself out) being the right one. The only thing I respect about Nicole here is her loyalty to Aden. I'd be excited for the mention of Melody but considering how much you love Nicole and Belles comment I'm already guessing that Geoff being with Melody and Melody herself is mean't to be hated. Hopefully Aden will be more understanding to Belle. And with everything he put her through when he was pushing her away will realise that for once she needed to put herself first. Please update soon.

Glad she finally realised that. Okay this chapter was everything I had hoped it would be. This chapter completely redeemed Belle for me. Prepare for yet another very long post. Drew and Belles conversation had to have been my favourite part of this third fic. Love Drew saying that part about how she always does something and then says she didn't mean to. That paragraph was perfect. You also managed to show throughout it how much it hurt him not knowing. I'm glad Aden wasn't there because this way they got to have a proper conversation without all the extra tension in the room. I'm glad Belle ignored his comments in the beginning of the scene and didn't snap at him but instead went ahead with her apology. I love Belles reason for not telling him. It did make sense now when you explained why it was easier for her to tell the people she did and not him. It also showed that his opinion means something to her. And it's true Aden loves her too much to not just reassure about everything being okay instead of what he might be really thinking. It was lovely seeing Belle open up about how she really felt. I'm glad she was completely honest with him and explained herself properly instead of just a simple apology. Also good to know that Drew apologised for his comments about her being a bad mother. Absolutely loved how they went back to teasing each other. Everyone one their witty comebacks made me smile. I truly enjoyed their talk. I couldn't have asked for anything better. As for Nicole I'm glad for Belle didn't just leave it be. I know Nicole feels really bad about what she did already but I like that Belle let her know that being sorry is not enough. She needs to learn to think before she talks and now after all the things Belle said to her maybe she'll remember that next time. Although was a little surprised that Aden seemed more concerned with how much she hurt him by not letting him know instead of all the stress of what she said cause for Belle. Aden was good in this chapter too. He was the right amount of protective without going overboard. I like that even if he was reluctant at first he let Belle do this alone. Also loved all the cute Adelle scenes. You can't blame Belle for getting a little spoilt considering Aden treats like a princess most of the time. I loved the way you resolved this. Feel silly now for worrying about how it was going to turn out.
-
Yeah I don't mind Aden having a go at Drew for what he said about Belles ability to be a mother(because Drew was wrong about that) and how Belle certainly doesn't need the stress but I hope he leaves it at that. I don't like the idea of Aden making Drew feel like he doesn't have a right to be angry about Belle not telling him. I feel that part(Belle not telling him) should be worked by Drew and Belle on their own Theres no way you are putting me off either of those characters. From time to time their actions annoy me (making me feel more strongly about it than I probably should) but overall you've written them amazingly and I love whole three characters. I've mentioned this once before in one of my reviews(can't remember where)but I only start feeling this strongly about the characters in a fic when I completely invested in the story. And you managed to do this with your stories. Sorry if I'm making it hard to reply to all my ramblings. About the brother thing it was just that Belle referred to Nicole as Adens sister and she isn't even related to him in any way(biologially or legally) yet Drew is actually related to Belle in someway. Thats what I mean't. I should have probably made been more clear on that though. Sorry for the confusion. Seriously Taniya one day I am going to stop boring you with my way too long posts.
-
So she finally gets that. But then again she was immediately back to making excuses for herself in no time. Drew may have been harsh with her but all I can say is that Belle had it coming. I wish she had spent more time trying to apologize and less time trying to excuse not telling him. Okay her explanation for telling Mattie was fine but when she made that comment about Nicole being Adens sister and bestfriend and why she just had tell Annie and Geoff all I could think was why Drew didn't remind her of the fact that he is her brother(her actual brother and not someone she just thinks of as a brother), and for about two years one of the most important people in her life. I don't agree with anything he said but but I feel like she should know him enough to realise he said those stuff because hes hurt and not hold it against him later on. I think he owes her an apology but the only thing I am afraid of now is that now with what he said you're gonna have him doing all the apologising and her getting away for treating the way she did. As for Aden I usually love protective him but he better not go get all angry with Drew demanding he apologises. Because honestly Drew seems to get all the irritation coming his way for the fact that Aden and Drew won't even acknowledge each other if there in the same place but it's not like Aden ever makes things easier. I know Aden loves Belle and wants everything to be okay for her but I hope Aden surprises me and is understanding with Drew and realises that Drew and Belle need to work this out alone without him interfering. Can't wait for that next chapter.
-
Nice chapter. Yay. Drew now knows. I don't know whether I want him to be upset at Belle or not. On one hand I hope hes understanding and then she can feel extremely terrible and guilty about not telling him(if you ask me she deserves to) and on the other I hope he has a go at her for it. The reason I feel for Drew is because Belle didn't just tell only the adults who needed to know(Irene, Amanda, Roman) but basically all the people she interacts with in the town (Mattie, Geoff, Nicole, Annie)knows except Drew. And Drew used to be a bigger part of her life at one time then any of them, even Mattie. Also since when does Drew have to phone and let her know when he decides he wants to come to Summer Bay to visit his own friends. I don't think she gets the right to be angry that he didn't let her know. I don't see Belle letting him know when she going to be in the city (infact she just drives of even if sees him) or lets him know about anything about her life at all. I think it's about time Belle needs to stop spending so much time thinking about how Aden and Drew don't get along and focus on the fact that even though her relationship with Drew didn't work out and was a complete mess he used to really love her and she used to be a very important part of his life that keeping this from him for so long could hurt him. She needs to stop making every decision based on how it's going affect her or what she wants or just doesn't want to deal with. She should try considering his feelings more. I have no idea how you are going to write his reaction but I don't see how this wouldn't hurt him. Please update soon. Looking forward to that confrontation between Drew and Belle. I sure you'll end up doing it really well.
