Ok that was really well written, it was fast, emotional and conveyed the gritty emotion of the scene perfectly. BUT I really hope you don't end this in the manner that has entered my head - it's not pleasant! I guess I'll have to wait and see, but I've no doubt it will be wroth reading anyway

Hmmm, you really know how to hit the trigger points don't you? Female clergy Homosexuallity Liberalism in the church (or in some cases lack there of!) You could almost have been writing the agenda for the Church of England Synod! Contentious and emotive...beautifully written. I'm liking how you're tracking both Aden and Geoff's personal struggles.
