I agree with you completely. It says a lot about a couple when they keep breaking up. I'm not saying there haven't been some beautiful moments with Adelle such as the way she supported him through this drama with his Dad and his past sexual abuse and the way he started to show her support with her drug abuse. But it seems there's only a nice moment when they hug each other after revealing their big secrets they've been keeping from each other for the past few months The rest of the time they just seem to make each other unhappy and I get the feeling that they are only together because they feel they should be together, as they've been through so much as a couple. I like Aden and I like Belle but together, I'm not convinced they work as a couple, personally. you both make really good points, and i also don't understand how the writers make them suffer so much as a couple when theres obviously some major potential there, i think they're exploiting their popularity to some degree and as far as im concern its all bull!! In saying that I LOVE them together (obviously) and i love how emotional they both are! They compliment each other well and their bad traits at the moment seem to outweigh the good they have in each other (otherwise i wouldn't bother to watch the show or show any interest in them at all). I think i said this before but Im wondering if the writers are trying to create some sort of friction between the two as another challenge in their relationship, how they react and handle it will obviously be the turning point in their future. But we obviously know what happens later on and im all for it and it def gives me the impression that they see something in each other that they didn't see with other people, it'll be hard for them to not deny that.

hmm was that tough love from Aden or has he finally given up on Belle? That was pretty man of him to just ditch Belle like that (although very understandable). Overall loved the wedding scenes and i loved the hospital scenes.

ahhh a spin off, man that'll make my year, birthday, xmas.... thats what i find soo great about the two. The way they look at each other, kiss its all so damn HOT, i can't get enough! It's def down to how they act they're both awesome in their own right. Love it!!

yeah maybe but to be fair i think Adens speeches on how they're meant to be together came at a time when he didn't have her. She was with someone else so there was no reason for her to proclaim her love for him when she was "trying" to stay loyal to Angelo...although that didn't last long. I do feel like Belle sees something in Aden that she never got with Drew or Lucas and i think its genuine. Aden offers more emotion and love than drew ever gave her and i think thats whats attractive for belle, hes edgy and challanges her. And i also think the fact that hes so bad yet so loving at the same time is enough for her to not second guess her love for him... does that make sense? BUT...with the way things are going now, i wonder how the writers are going to approach it....I CAN'T WAIT for this whole thing to play out i reckon its gonna be a great storyline...bring on Liam and Nic i say!

Im really looking forward to how the next couple of epi's pan out...how are the writers going to get back Adelle to how they were before? Theres been so much tension between them lately that it'll be interesting to see whether or not that whole chemistry is still there! I think Aden's support for Belle has been fantastic hes been very protective of her of late but will be the ultimate betrayal for him, especially after what he had to go through with his father!!

^^ yeah kind of sad isn't it!! But im glad that its playing out the way it is i think judging from her reaction at the end of friday's epi she kind of realises now the amount of pain she not only put herself through but her loved ones aswell, wasn't worth it in the end. i think she finally realises now how alone she really is...even though at the moment shes got Aden. But i don't think that i can say much about Jess and her acting, i think people already know...im also pretty stoked that shes looking better again, i almost forgot how beautiful she was!

Yep thanks for that. If theres one thing that puts me off coming on this thread/website altogether its stupid az comments like that! ANYWHO....I too am liking, not really loving, Belles storylines. I think we're wanting too much from her character all at once, we have to remember that although her "constant dramas" is not something we hear or see everyday on H&A and even in real life doesn't mean its not happening! And whether we like it or not we have to become aware of issues like PTSD and depression etc. The only way we can educate our youngens on these issues is to bring it up in shows that attract the younger generation like H&A! They're doing a wicked job at making it believable and I love the different kinds of responses we're getting from fans of Belles both negative and positive. I love it purely for the fact that Jess is acting it out in such a superb and artistic way but hate the fact that Belles having to go through this! Personally I cannot wait for this storyline to finally have its ending not cause I want it over already but mainly for the fact that we get to witness what PTSD is really all about, when the person is in deep decline and what it takes for them to have to get back to being themselves again. I hope the writers approach it well and deals with it properly instead of having her forget she even had it in 1 week or whatever!

If Aden ever does get tired of Belle, then that'll be pretty selfish of him considering that she was there for him through all his problems! I highly doubt that that'll happen but Belles "clingy" phase was Aden's "angst/jealousy" phase when she was with Angelo. It wouldn't make any sense for him to leave her considering everything they did to get back together. (Sorry this should be in the Aden/Belle thread ).

I was one of the people who was getting very tired of Belle being in hospital and constantly being sick all the time (but thats because i obviously adore her character and would never wish anything bad to happen to her)! NOW...Im just loving every storyline even more! I find it fascinating to see her character go from being so feisty and funny to this character who doesn't know what to do with herself. I find myself wondering "where the hell did Belle go." Its just awesome to see her transition, Jess' portrayal of this person with this illness is sooooo spot on!

Yep, i said in another thread that it was the most childish thing i had ever seen, and the sad thing about it was that it looked serious! Like it was meant to hurt the other persons feelings or something! It was wierd how they approached it!

you make it sound like he wants to have her euthanised ;-) I think Jess is a great actress, to be honest. In relation to Adelle, however, I've always felt that it's Todd's acting skills that keep that relationship alive, and with chemistry in it - but on her own turf, Jess is more than capable of everything the writers are throwing at her I actually think both of them have acted out the chemistry bit rather well. When Belles character was with Angelo, i thought the chemistry, esp during the kissing scenes , was played out really well and i found myself sort of, not cheering, enjoying it ...Don't get me wrong i think Todd is a wicked actor but Jess balances it out for both of them in my opinion .

Im not really a fan of these two...BUT....i can honestly say that they're probably one of the most consistent and interesting couples on the show. I love the interaction they have with each other, its seems real and it reflects everyday couples. I hope the writers don't destroy them they seem to be the only decent couple on the show, including Adelle (sorry had to add them).

Hell yeah she deserves a logie!! that girl is just beautiful to watch, acting wise!

I am very, very, very much looking forward to Belle and the article that shes supposed to write! I think this is the first time i've gotten excited about a storyline since her and adens get together . Wierd i know, but i think with the amount of angst that we've been getting, hopefully this will be the start of something positive for summerbay and her i guess (but i think we all know that its not going to last long with her upcoming storyline ).

You're right, Amanda is never mentioned which is weird given what's been happening to her daugher. Having said that, it's not the first time past characters tend to be totally forgotten. As for the chemistry, yes it's true there has not been a lot of "electricity" lately but can you blame them? Who's got time for chemistry when all you are doing is going from one hospital visit to another and when you become paranoid your life is in danger? Give them time... the chemistry is still there but latent and this is now a time for tender care and support more than anything else. I remember some people complained that the Jack and Martha relationship had gone a bit cold when Martha was going through chemo and having a tough time dealing with her cancer but, again, did people really expect fluff at a time like this? Jack was 100% there for her and that's what was right at the time. Sticking together through tough times, commitment and sacrifice is what proves a relationship strong, not just undeniable physical attraction (don't get me wrong, the latter is still extremely important but sometimes you can't have it all at the same time). hmmm very true, i think its too early to be "panicking" about the lack of chemistry between the two when they obviously have some things to deal with . That being said i do miss it but i think too much of it will be kind of....unrealistic (?). Idk correct me if im wrong, just as long as they're in the same room together ill be stoked .

I haven't really warmed to Nicole yet. Her character to me is too cliched, as ive said many a times . Hopefully there will be some sort of storyline that she gets that will make me go, "WOW she was fantastic in that episode," instead of "Next scene please." I know she was brought into the show to become this little princess like character...but idk...its just not working for me, cause i've seen it played out time and time again!! I know she'll grow on me, like Marthas character has, but that took nearly all her time being on H&A to get me to like her...hopefully Nicole's character will grow on me sooner rather than years later .

the first epi that Jai was in was kind of...meh...BUT after that i've really warmed to him. I don't know man, its wierd cause i find his character to be quite amusing. There's some things that he does that cracks the crap out of me. Whether its his facial features or just the way he says things. He's like someone you've met once upon a time who really made an impression on you but you just don't know why . I would like the writers to explore his humour abit more, maybe by giving him more scenes with the older boys, Aden and Geoff. Idk, they can all hang out or something, he can be the little brother they always pick on lol.

yeah i fully agree with this post. It will be esp strange for the writers to have Belle preach about 'finding' herself again and then not go further with it! I think i recall Jess saying in an interview that this year will probably be the year where we will get to see the old Belle back again, ? I hope shes talking about the Belle that we all know and love, the feisty smart mouth one ...and i agree with sexyluc. If she does take on photography again, i hope its something that will not become something fulltime. I want to see her take it up through an artistic approach, someone who does it when it feels right rather than it being something thats been forced. MOD EDIT: Potential spoilers concealed.
