  1. I don't think it's the episodes from this year, as people like Tony, Alf and Ric have well over 250 and Ric left months ago. I don't know. I got it from imdb.com so it's anyone's guess if it's right or not. But Rachel has been involved in many huge stories in her short two years on the show compared to many other main characters and i hope it continues! She is still very popular and i hope now she has a pregnancy storyline this will continue. Right now she's happy and fun and that's just great. Although it does annoy me people don't like her simply because of her complaining and being depressing lately. She's not exactly had the best time and anyone in her shoes would be the same. I don't blame her for what happened after Aden (saying he didn't have a breakdown, i know that lost her a lot respect.) But Rach is just human at the end of the day. She'd been through something very traumatic and the whole time she was just concerned for Aden/Larry and Tony, not herself. It wa supposted to be her wedding, that's huge. I'd be an emotional mess too. But she put it right, as what usually happens. Amy is fantastic as Rachel, she brings her to life. Rachel i think is someone you can relate to on so many levels. Her struggles to prove herself at work (maybe not so much now but at the beginning for sure) and her desire to settle down and have a family. I hope they work it so they show it is possible to 'have it all' without her having to sacifice her career too much. I wonder what they'll do about that. I hope they do it realistically and show how hard it's going to be for her to work like she does now....and have some sort of conflict with that. I can't imagine hospitals look nicely on pregnant doctors....hmm. I haven't actually seen all of Rachel's 'breakdow' (i was travelling) but from what i have seen it was very convincing and realistic! What stands out for me (apart from her mother's death) is when she is telling Leah she was raped. Ada was amazing in this scene too, when she starts to cry. Thats exactly what i'd do if my best friend told me that and there's nothing you can do to take her pain away. And 'fun' Rachel is fabulous. She's someone you'd want to go to the pub and share wine with
  2. Ok i just realised my last post can't be right....Irene (played by Lyn) has to have been in way more episodes than that!! And the Leah one doesn't seem right either....although she's not had much this year after Dan and even then it was only a few episodes that dealt with it. Although i think the Belle one seems pretty true to life..... Anyways, Rachel has had tons to do over just two years, so long may it continue I love seeing Rachel so happy, she's this adorable, funny person and Amy does it so well!! But she's also amazing at emotional scenes too...i just watched the episodes when she told Leah and Brad about Henk and she did it wonderfully. Her emotions were so true to life. And the episode where her mum died and she jumped on top of her trying to revive her is one of my favourite 'Amy' episodes ever. And she was all playful and flirty with Tony at the beginning, i love those little scenes as well. Sometimes seeing them do 'normal' things is just as fun as the dramatic/emotional stuff.
  3. Something crazy i found out.... Amy Matthews has appeared in 127 episodes of Home and Away (2006-2008) whilst Ada Nicodemou (Leah) has appeared in 144 episodes, and has been on the show 6 years longer!! How insane is that? Amy has appeared in more episodes that Jessica (Belle) and they started roughly at the same time. Irene has only appeared in 143 episoded and she started in 1992. So i guess we can't say she is under-used, if anything she's over-used I think it's because all us fans can't get enough, so when she's not in it we're all complaining we don't see her enough. But if you think about it, and think of everything Rachel has been through in just two years she's actually been at the centre of a lot of huge storylines. And i love how she shows affection with Jon. I'm pretty sure stuff like that is not scripted and she does it really well. I agree about her being 'real.' She does make mistakes and do things that are irrational but we all do sometimes and that's what's so endearing about her. She knows when she's in the wrong too and isn't afraid to admit she makes mistakes.
  4. I think if she hadn't interrupted they would have, haha. They were pretty into it. It was funny cos Rach said she wanted to take it slow and not jump into deep again (i'm assuming she was talking about Lewis here, as after only 6 weeks she was already pregnant by him!) and Tony talking about needing a cold shower. But after all that she leaned into kiss him again just as Irene nearly broke the door down! So yeah, i think if Irene hadn't they would have found it hard to stop. I think they just mean interrupted as in never being able to spend time alone together. Or when they were 'snuggling' on the couch someone came in. You know what i mean, lol. I so wished we seen some of that, especially with Jazz as she was so brazen it would have been funny to see. And yeah as a Tachel fan i agree they don't get near enough screen time. Hopefully that'll change, it's getting a bit better. I wish they'd showed us them together before they became a couple. Just hanging out as friends, taking etc. It would have been nice. Even now we don't really see them relaxing together, they're always involved in some kind of drama. (although in the past few weeks there's been a few cute little scenes of them doing 'normal' stuff) Thats why i so badly want a Tachel wedding, becasue the whole focus would (or should) be on them for the whole episode. At first i thought he was too old for her...they have around 12 years between them right? But i don't think it matters so much when the guy is the older one. Women mature faster than men so it kinda makes it even. And men get better looking the older they get, women it's the opposite You can't chose who you fall in love with after all.
  5. I know, it's really touching to see him all thrilled about the baby. His face at the ultrasound was just lovely. I don't think Tony was ever against the idea of having more kids. He knew when he asked Rachel out initially how much she wanted her own children. They were close friends before, and he knew what she went through with Kim and saw how much it hurt her. So for him to seriously consider being with her, giving the age difference etc he would have expected i think, for her to want a family and if he was really not wanting more kids i doubt he would have asked her out in the first place. I think they were refering to that and other times too, becasue as you said they mentioned Mattie and Jazz. It couldn't have been easy for them to spend time alone together, what with Jazz living with Tony and Sam/Jack/Rory at Rachel's. It would have been fun to see more of those scenes, espcially with Jazz as we know how much she still loved Tony. I could imagine her just barging in and plonking herself down on the couch next to them like it's nothing. They've been fun and happy this past few weeks and i really love it. I hope they get more scenes like this in the new year. I know we'll get some big dramas no doubt about the pregnancy but i'm looking forward to those. Amy is amazing in emotional scenes, and concerning Rachel's baby i'm sure she'll be just fantastic, as will Jon. It's obvious Tony completely loves and adores Rachel so much he'll be distraught if anything goes wrong. Seeing them playing out those scenes together will be amazinng. I'm hoping it'll provide lots of Tachel moments, sweet, dramatic, emotional and funny. I hope the writers are starting to realise how popular Tachel are getting and then don't cut so many of their scenes. They've missed out on so much that was badly needed.
  6. I think you all know my feelings on the so called 'renunion' I hated how they made us believe that Rachel would run away...Rachel who has always been a talker since day one, and that her best friend and finacee believed it too so quickly, when they're supposted to know her better than anyone. But oh well, it's done and i suppose it was pretty exciting. I think my favourite Tachel scene is the one in the gym (yup they really love that place, that seems to be where all their making up happens!) just before Jack, Leah and Colleen come to tell them congratulations about the baby. It's all very sweet and loving and when they're gazing at each other you can really believe they're in love. Amy and Jon make a very believable couple! In some couples it almost looks forced and there's no chemistry, but with these two i actually care what happens. It's like your rooting for them to be happy and have everything they want, so you can believe yourself real love does exist and you can have that too. I love they're pregnant. It's about time we had a baby being born under 'normal' circumstances, and to parents who want it and planned it together. I hope it doesn't all end in tradgey. I loved the beginning of their relationship too. Esecially one scene in the diner where they're talking about Jazz. They're laughing together and Tony is saying she's jealous and Rachel insists she's not and she knows if she catches them (Tony and Jazz) in bed together she knows he's just comforting her and that's it. And Tony laughs and tells her he knew she was an intelligent woman. Rachel was really relaxed and happy back then too. I think it's pretty amazing to be comfortable with your boyfriend living in the same house as his ex, especially when that ex makes it clear she wants him back! Loved the scene when Jazz told Tony that she made Rachel sick so she couldn't go with him to the school renunion and he told her to get out of his house. See, Tony does have balls
  7. I know what you mean, but when you think about, compared to other 'main' charatcers like Irene, Leah, Miles etc Rachel has had one pretty big storyline after the other! I know lately they've not been getting as much screne time, but the story is still there, she's involved in something, unlike say Leah for example, who for the best part of this year has done nothing by moan about Miles and flip burgers. As for Miles, apart from the business with Sally he's not really been involved in anything major. Same geos for Irene. Rachel though has been held hosatge by Rev.Hall, become engaged, had relationship problems regarding children, been stalked by a mental health patient, was kidnapped on her wedding night, her fiancee 'cheated' on her, the kid she was going to adopt came back into her life and then died and now she's pregnant....pretty huge year for any character. And we all know all the stuff from previous years, Kim/Kit, crash, breakdown, Hugh, miscarriage, mum dying, Henk etc. I do wish they'd explore the little things in their relationship more rather than always focus on the big dramatic emotional scenes. But Amy does these so well i guess that's why she's always involved in something! I think especially that was needed after Joe died. She apologised the next day for shutting him out but we didn't see any of it which i think would have been a really powerful scene. Seeing what happened when they got home. Although she's been awesome since she found out she was pregnant. She's beaming with happinness it's lovely. Amy does that so well too. I love that her playfullness with Tony is back and she seems so much closer to him now. I'm loving it and hope Rachel and Tony are long term. They work so well together and thats all down to Amy and Jon having such great chemistry.
  8. I can't wait either. He's so excited it's too cute. He seems genuinely thrilled at the thought of being a dad again. I never really liked him when he was with Beth, he was a little boring to me. But i guess it's different he's with somone younger now becasue they can do a lot more with them as a couple. And he adores Rachel which i find really sweet. He'd do anything to make her happy. One thing i don't like about Tony, is that sometimes he's a bit of a 'sap' as my roomie called him the other night. I think he needs to be a bit more assertive. I'd love to see him get all angry for once and just lose it. But he's such a sweet, kind, loving man you can kind of forgive him for that. He's a real gentleman and that's lovely to see! I love that he has a great relationship with his sons. It seems everyone else in Summer Bay has had some sort of drama/problem/huge fall out etc with their parents but the Holden boys get along great and thats so nice to see. I like the scenes he has his Jack. Although he doesn't really look old enough to have a son Jack's age.
  9. I don't think you could call her a 'background' actress. Since she arrived 2 years ago, she's been at the centre of a lot of pretty huge storylines. I think it's only this year it's calmed down a little. Since being with Tony she's had more 'real' issues to deal with, such as having children, getting married, relationship problems, even Jimmy becasue that is something that happens to a lot of doctors dealing with patients suffering from mental issues. Aside from being kidnapped (again! - she must have some kinda radar) it's been pretty smooth for her and although i don't think the issues she went though were giving enough scene time, it's been nice to see her going through normal, everyday problems. The only thing i don't like about her is that's she a little too patronising sometimes. I feel like she's talking to people like they're kids and she's the adult and knows better, but i guess thats just because of her line of work. She needs to switch off her work brain sometimes. But i like how she always admits when she is wrong and does apologise, like to Leah, Dane etc. She's a very forgiving person, i don't think i could be so understanding of some of the people who've hurt her, but that's a lovely part of who she is. I love the scene where she is talking to Rev.Hall in the hospital where she's talking to him about forgiveness. And her frienship with Leah is a lot of fun. I'm glad they have each other, and their relationship is realistic of how you'd expect best friends to act. Rachel was never the type of person to just run away. The Rachel we all know would have talked to Tony and/or Leah if she was having doubts about the wedding, not just ran away, without a note or anything. I dont get why Leah didn't just call Hugh (as any normal person would!) to find out if she was with him. She had disappeared, vanished and no one really showed any concern for her well-being. It was just really badly written. It was alll so out of character for Rach to do that and it really bugs me. Even now. And i think she was way to nice to Tony about everything that happened. But the writers did a really bad job with that story so i'll blame them.
  10. I think it's about time Leah had another major story. She was fantastic during Dan's death, it's a shame they pretty much handled it over a couple of episodes. I thought the scene she did with Rachel in her bedroom was amazing. I'm tired of her storyline with Miles, it's getting a little boring and i don't think Leah would really go on like that for so long. I'm hoping they bring in a new love interest for her soon, that would be fun!! And give her a chance at a good storyline again. I love her friendship with Rachel. It's lovely they've stayed such good friends for a long time, and that really shows in their scenes together. It's great they always have each other to talk to about their problems, and always tell each other news first. Leah's been an amazing friend to her, and Rachel to her. I wish they'd let them have some fun together though! Hopefully they will now that Rachel's pregnant and they can enjoy that, maybe have some fun with it together. Their relationship is protryed realistically and i do like that a lot. I think more scenes with Leah and VJ would be good. She never seems to be around him, no wonder he is acting out! She's a single mum, that must be tough on her and surely they could explore that a little more.
  11. I love that bit too. It was lovely to see them comforting each other like that...i kinda like how their relationship was not all mad kissing and fire works. It makes it a little more believeable. I always think it's the little things that show you how much someone loves someone, as opposed to major public displays of affection. I think in the beginning they were both pretty affectionate with each other. I remember Rachel putting her arms around him on the patio of her house during the whole Jack/Sam issues, and she was there for him through all of that. Plus all the little scenes in the hospital where he'd reach for her hand/wrist or stroke her face. I think Amy and Jon play their affectionate scenes really well. They pretty much always touch each other in some little way during their scenes together. But i do think since their relationship started it's been more Rachel being there for him than the other way around. Especially with everything with Jack/Sam and then during the whole 'breaking it off on the answerphone,' it ended up that Tony was the one feeling sorry for himself not Rachel and she had to assure him she loved him enough to deal with anything. I guess during the whole Joe thing though, Tony was there for her but then they cut a lot of that stuff (like when they went home after hearing the news and she apparantly 'shut him out.') I despised their 'reunion.' I thought it was far too rushed. He didn't exactly show any concern for her given what had happened. A simple 'are you ok sweetheart?' would have been nice! But instead they had to turn it to Tony, and him feeling guilty. And i really wish they'd shown the scene with them taking about Rachel wanting to see Aden and Tony not understanding why. She'd been through something quite traumatic and suddenly she was fine. She was pretty messed up before Tony came back (which i loved, it was great to see her having a 'normal' reaction to what she'd gone through) but then she's fine and that's it forgetten? I wish they'd had a scene where Tony had said something to Aden, or at least made it clear he was angry at him. I know Aden had a breakdown and needed help, but everyone pretty much treated him the same after, which to me is not at all realistic. But, yeah the episode with the ultrasound etc was just so lovely. I adored all their little moments, especially when she hugged him in the gym from behind and reached for his hand during the ultrasound. And just smiling and gazing at each other. Anyways, i'm hoping the next months will be good for Tachel. I hope, really hope they get married soon, as i'd so love another bay wedding. And i hope they include lots of pregnancy things too, like Rachel's cravings, if she has any morning sickness, baby's first kick etc etc. It would be so fun to see them play out all of that. I just want Tony to be less of a 'sap' as my roomie calls him, lol and be protective of Rach. Maybe thats why they rushed her getting pregnant, so they could concentrate on the pregnancy. I don't think Rach moans more than anyone else on the show (Leah, i love her but lately all she's done is complain and maon! lol) I'm praying the Jack rumours are not true, otherwise it's gonna be Rach being the strong one again. Or, maybe they'll help each other through it. I hope so.
  12. I don't see any reason why she wouldn't renew. It was only last year she won the Logie, and her charatcer has just gotten pregnant. There's still so much more they could do with Rachel. It would be surprising if she decided not to renew. I think she's contracted until the end of 2009 though? I'm just reading her profile and surprised at how young she is. She's only 28, younger than the actor who plays Jack, yet he's supposted to be younger than Rachel i'm guessing? Anyways, i'm just a little surpsised at that. Yeah her style has changed a bit, i guess a lot of that has to do with getting older, but maybe part of her felt she had to dress differently with Kim because he was so much younger than her, and maybe she felt she needed to dress appropriate for that. Maybe she felt she always had to impress him (especially when Kit came back) and she doesn't feel the need to do that with Tony. I loved her with Kim though, i have to say. But now i feel Rach is a lot more grounded. She seems to feel completely comfortable around Tony and i loved some of their little dates in the beginning when she was all smiley and flirty with him. I love Rachel's ambition, drive and fiestyness. It's ovely to see her happy. She's been glowing the past week and it's fab. Her smile has just not stopped. I think they should expose her vunrable side a little more, she was amazing when her mother died, and through the whole Kim/Kit drama, when she knew she was losing him but tried desperately to cling on. And then when she found out about Tony and Bridget. I think Rachel needs to let Tony in a little more, and let him be there for her and stop trying to do it all herself all the time.
  13. I really hope you're right. I think it would be pretty silly if they were to split them up now, or have some drama that causes them to break up. It happens all too often, and i'm getting bored of couples constantly splitting up, then a few months later the same with someone else. Of course not too stable, hehe but stable enough to be able to survive any drama they have together. Hopefully the baby will provide that for us. I've always thought they were pretty close, i dont think the writers gave it enough time to develop properly though. They built up this lovely friendship with them, then had them dating all nice and slow then engaged and next thing you know Rach is locked in a shed on her wedding day. Can you eloberate a little please? I didn't really notice anything different, just that it was so nice to see Rach being happy! Yeah i was annoyed they fast-tracked the whole getting pregnant. I don't think they should have had the Joe storyline, instead they should have had Tachel working things out (cos it was pretty traumatic what happened, for both of them, and after not talking for like a week suddenly it's all fine) and just being together. They could have had so much fun with the trying to get pregnant, and explored it a little more.
  14. No one is perfect. If they were it would be pretty boring to watch. Anyways. I'm hoping this baby storyline will be a chance for Tachel to get lots of screen time together. And hopefully some good drama's along the way for Amy and Jon to get stuck into. It's been a long time since there was a pregnant women on H&A and i'm looking forward to seeing how the writers decide to play it out, especially to see what's going to happen to Rachel's career. And i hope it'll bring out another side to Tony. A more protective, manly side. I want to see him taking charge for once. It's lovely they now have something to deal with together, as a couple. Sometimes i think the writers forget they're engaged. And i'm still holding out for that wedding. I hope Rachel and Tony become a long term couple. It's desperately needed i think. And i don't see how they can possibly break them up now, after everything that's happened and they're still strong together. They've survived a lot of things together that would break a lot of couples. It's nice to show a couple not just giving up when things get a little rough.
  15. Scotland is always cold It's depressing.
  16. I hope so too. It's about time they had one. To be honest, i don't see how they can plausibly break them up without one of them dying. (And for Tony to loose another woman he loves i think would be taking it too far, even for H&A.) They've already survived a few dramas which would break a lot of couples. I have always loved Rachel. Sure sometimes she annoys me and i don't agree with everything she says or does, but i love that she's not perfect and does make mistakes. I think Amy is definitely one of the better actors on the show. Her timing is excellent, and her emotional scenes are fantastic. I think Rachel is a character a lot of women can easily identify and relate too. She has a successful but demanding career, a man who loves her and a baby on the way. She is trying to have it all, like so many woman feel under pressure to have these days. It's going to be interesting to see if any conflict arises regarding her career and pregnancy. She's certainly not going to be able to do a lot of the things she does at work now as she gets bigger. And yup she has an amazing figure, i'm glad she's not stick thin like most of the other young women on the show. I think she has a pretty cool wardrobe, hehe. I wouldn't mind raiding it for a few things.
  17. I really like Jack. He's very sweet and his heart is in the right place. Plus being cute helps! I don't think he knows what he is doing half the time though, and he can sometimes come across as being a bit silly and naive. But he believes in himself and his job, and tends to act with his heart rather than his head sometimes. He's been through a hell of a journey since his arrival in the bay though! And he's come out of it all pretty well i have to say. I actually love the relationship between him and Martha. They're meant to be together, and i think dealing with everything in between has just made them stronger. I hope they don't kill him off. It would destroy too many other lives in the bay. Not fun. I also love the relationship he has with Tony. It seems rare in soaps these days for families to get on, so it's really nice they have such a strong relationship. I think it's lovely the way the 4 of them (Tony/Rach, Martha/Jack) all get along and are genuine friends.
  18. She was going to adopt Joe, only for him to be taken from her at the last second. Then he comes back into her life, his mother has left him, he's suffering from cancer and his step dad doesn't do anything to help the situation. Of course she was going to try and do what's best for him. I don't think you ever lose the bond you have with a child, especially one you were going to adopt and fell in love with. I've cared for kids in Africa who i still think about all the time and love them as much as i would my own children. So it doesn't just go away. It's very hard to not get involved emotionally, and even though what she did with Joe wasn't the best thing, she just didn't want to see him suffer. Yes she was wrong not to talk to Tony about it but sometimes she thinks with her heart and not her head and she did eventually see sense. To be honest i think she's been really understanding of Tony and some of the silly things he's done. Like what woman would be happy having her boyfriends ex living with him, when it's obvious she still really likes him. And i think he got off lightly on the whole 'Bridget' thing. Rach is not perfect. I think she is too strong for her own good and needs to stop trying to take charge of everything. But there's nothing wrong with being a strong, feisty woman, thats one of the reasons i love her so much. But i love her and Tony together. They make a really great couple, and it's obvious they love each other very much. I hope now she's pregnant we'll see a new side to her, and Tony taking the lead for once.
  19. I do agree that Tony comes across as being a bit of a wimp sometimes, and its starting to bug me a little. I think he always tries too hard to do the right thing by people, especially Rachel, which can sometimes come across as being a bit pathetic. As for her not telling him about the cancer scare, i think that was purely becasue she didn't want to worry him. She did say she she'd talk to him later. A lot of their 'talks' happen off screne which is a shame becasue it would add a lot more depth to them both. I think the reason she ran away from the gym so fast was to stop Colleen telling Martha, who is a good friend of hers. I have noticed a few missing scenes too. One UK spoiler page describes a scene between them just after he came back, where she tells him she wants to go and see Aden as she's beginning to understand why he did what he did. He tell's her he's not happy about that and can't understand why she'd be so willing to forgive him so quickly. But we never saw that and that's a real shame it ended up on the editing room floor. I think a problem is that Rachel is protrayed as this really strong, powerful, highly opinionated woman - which is great but sometimes i think the writers need to show her vunrable side a little more and let Tony be the strong one, and be there looking after her. Hopefully now she's pregnant that will change. But i do think they love each other very much and i hope their relationship lasts, and continues to grow. I agree Karen, the episoded after the OC showed how crazy she is about him...i also think this came across when she told him she didn't want him to have the vascetomy reversal after finding out some pateint had had a bad reaction to it. The wedding/Bridget is really the first big truama they've had to deal with. Although i think it's insane they expect us to believe he ran off and slept with somone else in the space of a few days, so much so that she came looking for him after he left! but thats soapland, lol. But it's obvious how much Tony loves and cares about her. They're a great couple to have on the show, and needed i think, as everyone else just seems to go from one person to the next. I just hope this baby storyline will show a more 'manly' side to Tony, and show a change in Rachel.....
  20. There is something really endearing about him. He always makes me laugh, and i think he brings a lot of fun to the show. I hope he is going to be a long term character. Do you think he is going to end up with Leah? I actually think they'd make a nice couple, better than him and Kirsty, who i just can't warm too at all!
  21. I really don't like her with Angelo, i think it's a little out of character for her and i don't think she actually really cares for him. I think she's just trying to forget about Aden and everything with him, and being with Angelo is a way for her to do that. Belle is one of my favourite females on H&A with Rachel. I love her don't care attitude, she's feisty and passionate about what she believes in, even when what she is doing is not necessairly right. I used to love her friendships with Mattie, Lucas and all. It's a shame they've all left and she has no one really to have fun with anymore. I also love her scenes with Irene. Sometimes i think Belle needs a good mother figure in her life, and her relationship with Irene is very special and i hope they give them more to do together.
  22. I think they made a great couple. I love how they were friends first, and gradually it became more. I think the Bay needs a stable, older couple and Rachel and Tony work really well together. I think their relationship was a bit rushed, but i'm not sure what H&A time is as opposed to 'real time.' It's good their relationship has been pretty much drama free until now, kinda more realistic than a lot of couples!! I love the drama, but i do also love the 'real' moments they have together. It's clear they love each other very much, and i do hope they end up staying together for as long as they're in the soap. Amy and Jon have great chemistry and they're fun to watch. I think they are holding off the wedding for now. She said as much after what happened. But maybe with the baby coming they'll want to do it before its born...i guess we'll have to wait and see.
  23. To be honest i don't find her whiny most of the time. Sure she does go off sometimes, but that's just normal, and when you're not having the best time of it, well you're going to have a bit of a moan. I still think her heart is in the right place and she's just trying to do the right thing. I didn't see much of Rachel when she first appeared because of travelling, so i really just started to watch it with her when she was dating Kim. And, i actually think i like her more now. She just seemed to nice back then, always doing the right thing and stuff. I think Kim did break her heart, and it would be silly if she didn't have some sort of reaction to that. Now she is more like a normal person and i find her reactions to situations completely understandable. But i am a Tachel fan, and really hope Rachel will be able to have some fun in the coming months.
  24. I don't think her desire to have a child is any stronger than any other woman whose in her situation. It's natural to want a family with the man you love and want to be with forever, and sure some woman want kids a lot more than others (like Rachel) but i really don't think her family history has anything to do with this. I love Rachel simply because she's not perfect all the time. She's human, she makes mistakes, says and does things she shouldn't but she always does the right thing in the end. Like the situation with Aden. At first she was angry at him for what he did to her, and i find that completely understandable. But after seeing him she changed her statement and got him help like he deserved. Sometimes i think she tries too hard to do the right thing, and that can come across the wrong way. But she has a huge heart, and deep down i feel she just wants a man to love her and be there to support her. I also love that they have an ambitious career woman on the show, it's great. Her career is obviously really important to her and maybe they'll have some kind of conflict with that and her family life. I loved her fun and care-free attitude at first too, but people grow and change and it was natural for her to start wanting different things in life. I think Amy is one of the best actresses on the show and does an amazing job with Rachel, which is why i think she's been allowed to show her on so many different levels. I hope now that Rachel is pregnant, she can have some fun again and just be happy for a while.
