Well she is about most straight cop in long time so not surprised her record win her over. It’s gout they kept Rose pretty straight for all her run and kept respecting they going turn Rose into breaking rules but other then searching for her dad she never break rules to much of extreme as ever other cop on this show at least since Jack Holden would be booted off forced.

Do wonder how they would done with Duncan exit differently as there no way Duncan could be written out to live with Morag if Ailsa was still around so ether I say Duncan be recast again or sent off too join army or boarding school or something as his behaviour getting so bad. Probably would suited Judy better when her character was more sidelined but do think Judy interest was now in writing then acting and given she never acted since leaving other when she return as ghost I think it’s safe to say Judy was bored with acting. Also too Judy Nunn had health scare in 2000 so maybe that play part in her decision to leave .

Interesting interview and sounds like Debra Lawrence was never planning on staying long term even if she did stay living in Sydney and sounds like she already decided that she was going to leave next time her contact was up before she and Dennis decided move to Melbourne. Maybe Debra wasn’t sure if there was much more to do with Pippa character that wasn’t already done and perhaps she wasn’t happy with her husband no longer being there.

I love this character he step foot on show and hope he lives up to his full potential.

If Hunter did that too Olivia and cheated on Olivia and she would be screaming across town as though she is biggest victim and she would made Hunter mark man . Brody always was bit easy influence so wasn’t to surprise as look how quickly he got on drugs with Lena and how quickly he thought he was in love with Jeannie.

But that person was an evil person who was a serial killer that killed both Colby parents and shot Willow, and was even going shot his own Bella. Had Ross ever escaped he would killed anyone that stood in his way in the Bay. Colby was going to hand himself in much sooner but Willow fought tooth and nail to stop him. I really think reason why they made Willow witness x because they wanted to make Bella being alone as Dean took off because depressed over losing his best mate and girlfriend and left Bella all alone and had Willow not be witness x she would be there for Bella and stop Dean from taking off . They should made Taylor witness x if you asked me but for some reason they just wanted to Colby exit dramatically as possible and unfortunately it really felt too overkilled .

But since Roo has been back she has definitely been given more to do, and she feels alive again but I guess in fairness Georgia needed time off too due to health reasons. I wouldn’t want to lose Roo as she is a great character and Georgia is a fantastic actress . I think the whole reason why Martha was brought back from the dead was to give Alf and Roo a reason to leave town when Ray and Georgia need time off.

Has there been any characters you once really like and respected but once something happened made you not able to look at them same way again. Here’s is my list Alf-After keeping here’s supposed dead wife secret it’s made me not be able to look at Alf as same honest man and makes his whole marriage to Ailsa feel are lie. Marilyn-After finding out she had supposed daughter she gave up after having affair it’s made look at Marilyn very differently. Olivia-After she cheated on Hunter just to gain her professional status made me feel she no longer deserved Hunter . Willow-After she betrayed Colby I could never look at her as same loyal character even when I watch old episodes off her and Nixion shoot and nearly killed you and testify against friend who kill him to protect you and once did all you could stop Colby from handing himself in and you completely did not care that one off you best friends got beaten in prison and also completely just stranding there watching people like Nikau and Ziggy being accused . Jasmine- Leaving Cash and you newfound brother behind and not even coming back to say goodbye. Mackenzie-Sleepy with Married man and making out you’re victim just because half town turned against you for you bad moral behaviour. Tane -Kidnapping baby and thinking you be should treated like hero. So thoughts on any characters you could never get past on there bad choices ?.

I didn’t find Sally and Flynn believable as foster parents to Ric and Cassie, they seemed more like older siblings . I guess it was because the actors playing Ric and Cassie were older than the characters and not even ten years younger then Kate Ritchie. As for Barry I definitely did not think he was pointless, as he proved to be good principal and love interest for Irene. And I enjoyed having a flawed character like Josie on the show.

I enjoyed Judith's character but can understand why she was written out. She no longer had any children after Edward left and the principal role could easily be given back to Donald. Had Donald left the previous year with Marilyn then I could see Judith sticking around as she would at least have purpose being the principal. As for Joel and Natalie I don’t see why they didn’t just write them out together earlier, instead of breaking them up and Natalie leaving and then returning later for them to leave together. I love how Pippa got a proper send off in her return guest appearance, it really made up for her dreadful exit in 1998. The biggest shame was Judy Nunn not being able to play Ailsa in her return to her childhood home storyline, due to Judy Nunn's real life illness.

But lot younger characters too didit get much to do at times in Early years Matt/Nick/Rob and Finlay towards end.

I can imagine Tom and Debra Pippa lot more then I can Vanessa Pippa and Michael .

Micheal would left in couple more years anyway as both Debra and Dennis move to Melbourne and that’s why Debra quit show and there’s every chance Debra might decided to leave show further down track even if she had stayed living in Sydney. I do however think would be interesting if Pippa and Michael did leave Summer bay together as I wonder what storyline they would to give them reason to leave . But however with both Irene and Ailsa house full up at time they probably would had to still asked Travis and Rebecca to take over.

I think Roo definitely has improved since her return and giving her storyline’s and Georgie really brings Roo to life when given opportunity for something to work with.
