Hi all There's been some problems writing up the next chapter because it's quite a long one, so I'm still working on it, and I need to do a little bit of research to finish off a couple of the scenes. Hopefully the next chapter will be done within the next few days. I'm trying to make it as interesting as possible so I hope it's worth the wait in the end Also to confirm, there is one more chapter after this upcoming one before the two-part finale.

Is there any Tachel baby stuff coming soon? To answer that question, all I will say is Hopefully I'll get the next chapter up by the end of the week

Also, since it looks like there are a lot of readers enjoying this, I might try to squeeze in an extra five or so chapters before the final. Remember that Martha told Rachel that she and Jack have no knowledge of parenthood etc. - let's just say that Jack pretty much has zero knowledge about pregnancy (or in this case, the symptoms which can indicate pregnancy) - he personally noticed Martha's morning sickness and perhaps thinks it's something else Jack first brought up the subject back in Chapter 69. The whole thing sounds a bit awkward, I know, but hopefully I answered your question.

Thanks everyone for the comments (as always!) Just wanted to say I have some good news. I am currently in the process of writing an extra eight or so chapters to add to this fic. This was meant to finish at Chapter 60, but I've decided to add some extra bits, including some scenes outside of Summer Bay/Yabbie Creek with some of the characters. I also added a couple more small storylines to go with it that contains more mystery, and more shocks are yet to come. I'll post the next chapter sometime over this weekend.

If you remember a few chapters back, Hugo and Xavier were being bossed around by Gina to clean up the Holden house. In the Surf Club, when Martha suggests Hugo could help clean up and Alf tells him to use the Vacuum cleaner, Hugo thought that his mum was there, getting Alf to boss him around (in other words, Hugo is disappointed to be cleaning again) - supposed to be some kind of humorous moment there.

To answer your questions, suzannelgnz - 1) Do we find out more about where Tony got the gun from? - All I can say is that we have not heard the last of Doug, the guy who stole the gun and sold it to Tony in exchange for a thousand dollars. This will become a topic of discussion between Jack, Richard and Charlie in a later chapter in this fic. 2) Do we focus more on the Holden children's past? - I am pleased to say that later in this fic is a chapter with the title known as "The Story." That chapter is entirely based on the Holden's children's past, but mostly focusing on Tony, rather than Gina. "The Story" was actually my favourite chapter to write, and I'm sure you and the other readers will enjoy it, once we get up to that part. I don't want to give away too much, but all I can say is, like I've said before, there is still plenty more to come, and every character in this fic will somehow be involved either in the main storyline, or other little storylines that I mentioned in the first post. Hope I answered your question.

Glad you're finding it interesting, Red Ranger. By the way, in regards to Kent, all I can say is take a look back at Chapter One. There are more clues coming in the next few chapters and it will lead up eventually to (what I like to call) a "Cliffhanger" chapter. After that, the majority of the remaining chapters will focus mostly on the major storyline.

Sorry, should have made it a bit clearer. Brendan does live in Summer Bay and lives with Gina, Rachel and Tony at the Holden House. Gina left Brendan with a carer instead of taking him to the fundraiser/band (i.e. too many people, loud noise etc.) The hospital that he is in at the moment in the fic is the one where Rachel works. Also, when Hugo and Xavier arrive in the next chapter, they will also be living in the Holden House (Annexe part). Hope that's made it a bit clearer for you. Will post the next chapter soon.

Glad to hear some positive comments from everyone. Since I've already finished this fic on Word a long time ago (It's a long fic - a total of about 59 chapters), I might get into the habit of posting one chapter per day (Mon to Fri.) Some of you may be wondering when the main storyline (about the character's past - hence the title) will start in the fic. That will be coming soon, but first I'm just launching some of the other little storylines (i.e. the robbery, the proposal) that will also carry on throughout the fic. But all I will reveal to you guys for now is that a small clue, which will have a significant role in the main storyline, can be found in Chapter One. And finally, as a special treat (for those who can't wait for the next chapter) here are some fun little bits and pieces to look forward to, and you can discuss this amongst yourselves if you wish. 1) Who "Borrowed" Charlie's lipstick? 2) Has Gina developed the "Irene Robert's sayings" syndrome? 3) A great time to have a camera phone handy. 4) Jack Vs Rachel in "Who makes the best Breakfast" 5) Long lost twins in the Bay? Maybe? 6) If Tony became the next Prime Minister of Australia..... All this, plus Rachel's response to the proposal will be answered in the next chapter.
