Channel 7 pays for postage to you so you don't have to send a SASE if you are only requesting a fancard. If you are sending something to be signed then you should send a SASE. But if you want to you can. A SAE is a self addressed envelope that doesn't have stamps, I think you are talking about a SASE which is a self addressed stamped envelope- if you are doing that you need australian stamps to stick on it to be returned to you. But honestly I wouldn't waste your money as channel 7 pays for return postage (they have HEAPS of pre- paid envelopes tehy give to the actors to use) even if you live outside Australia.

2009 is the postcode and very important. Without it there will be huge delays in delivery- if it gets delievered. As for teh actors from my experience the best who reply are Esther Anderson, Todd Lasance, Lyn Collingwood, Jodi Gordon, Luke Mitchell, Axle Whitehead. Also heard Rebecca Breeds is quite good also. Esther and Lyn are the best and quickest. People like Ada Nicodemou, Ray Meagher and Lynne McGranger dont seem to reply as they get too much and it must slip through cracks, but again I would give them all a go, but up to you. But if you are not concerned by use of stamps I would send to all on off shot others reply- I always do. Also I read in an article on this site that home and away has moved studios so does that mean the fanmail address is now different or what? If one of the moderators could help out with this one that would be great or anyone else that knows.

It was Alix Bidstrup. Never seen a success from Ada in many years. But you never know.
-
I wouldn't give up hope with Jodi she took forever to reply to me, about 10 months as far as i remember, so there is still hope.

Guru I sent you message hope you got- otherwise PM me so I can reply

Great successes. I'm hoping to get some more soon (and my first one for 2010!). Not sure if I can post this here, but I am looking for fancards to buy. Trying to fill the huge holes in my collection. Really any, but more particularly older sort of ones from the last 1-5 years. The slimline or A4 ones. If anyone has ANY they want to sell (or knows anyone) please PM me and let me know. Thanks.

Nice replies. It's a pity Lynne didn't take any fancards with her. I'm posting of my letter to Lynne and Ray in Uk tonight. I hope they get to them intime. Only just received my Uk stamps today for the SASE so couldn't send before. You would think it only takes 4-5 days to get there though.

Wow love Amy's new card. I so have to get it! Meeting Luke Mitchell- was that at the Carols in the Domain by any chance?
-
JamieLee can you post a picture of the new Amy Matthews fancard you received as I haven't seen what it looks like yet.
-
Here is a photo of the fancard of Luke Mitchell I got:
-
I will post photo either tonight or tomorrow. Nice collection- now that I clicked on I realised I've looked at it before!
-
Thanks for the address I'm going to go write mine to Ray and Lynne now! What's your website someone was talking about to few your collection- wouldn't mind taking a look. So they're in the Uk right? On another note I got a reply from Luke Mitchell today. He sent me a signed fancard and a letter, which was great to receive.
-
What? Four days to get to Aust, signed and sent back to the UK? What's panto? As it takes like at least 4 days just to get here to Australia. Well done though. I have NEVER seen a success from Ray through the mail.
-
that's great. Yeah I was thinking of using that address, but haven't as yet. Yeah now I have 4 replies from the batch I sent out to everyone (except Tood and Esther) on 19 October. Hopefully I'll get some more this week too.

I got two replies today, both took 35 days. The first from Lyn Collingwood and the second from Sonia Todd- new fancards yeah! Never seen a reply from her before nor her fancard. Her are pictures: Lyn: Sonia:

Sure. Axle Whitehead (and Todd Lasance): David Jones Roberts:

Got another reply today. Took 23 days. From Axle Whitehead. I sent a poster of him and Todd, which he signed and he also got Todd to sign which was nice. Only thing is I realised I'd done a small puzzle on the back of the poster which I hadn't noticed when I sent (nice one on my part!) He also sent a fancard which he wrote a short letter on the back. Hope to get some more replies soon.

Got a reply from David Jones Roberts (Xavier) today. Took only 22 days. I sent a poster for him to sign which he did and sent back, He also wrote a sort note. You'll never guess what on- the cardboard I sent to protect the poster! A little weird. Still happy to get the reply. Sent to the whole cast on the same day (except Esther Anderson as I send to her regularly and she's not due for another yet!) so hopefully I get heaps more replies and in the coming weeks.
-
I have NEVER seen a reply from Jordan. Never. Maybe he's starting to reply to fanmail now. Well done with that one.
-
What do you mean by you sent it early? Also I asked about the white border as I have a Lincoln Lewis fancard and it has no white border, which I think does like a lot nicer than the white border (I also have a Packed to the rafters one like that). Maybe it was just the way they printed them at that time. I just sent to the whole cast again (seperate letters) on Monday, so hopefully I get lots of replies.
-
Glad to hear Luke Mitchell replies as I just sent him one. How long did it take? Great you got Todd's new one. I sent to office for his new one and Amy Matthews new ones and they just sent me their old ones- maybe they only just printed them or something. Does Todd's new one have no white border? As I've noticed some of the newer ones have that, maybe they are changing them a bit

Oh golly gosh i have a countless number of times and nothing Mike What address are you using to send the letters to? And this may sound like a silly question but have you put your address on the back of the envelope so they know who to return it to? Very suprised you have't received any replies. It is up to the cast if they reply to fanmail or not. Some do some don't and some just do every few months.

Thanks for sharing. Great answers. Kinda funny how she likes Packed To the rafters as they share a lot and she must run into them in all the time. Also guess that's why she wanted to be on dancing with the stars, because she watched it all the time.
-
Any chance you want to share the wuestions you asked in the questionare and her answers?

The PO Box one in Pyrmont is better to use as the other address is an old one, but has been know to work, but I never use it. This one goes straight to the set and I find gets a much faster reply. Good one on the Bernard Curry reply. I think that's the firt response I've seen from him (that people have reported on autograph sites.)
