I think you make some good points however why do people always feel everything Heath does is Brax's fault - Heath is an adult and he actually brings alot of these situations on himself and his family and others do the cleaning up - the whole jake saga started because heath ripped off his plantation and the story grew from there - I remember Brax telling him not to go there and that's just one example. If you have never lived this sort of life you may not fully understand and have empathy for people who have and i am hoping as time goes on we get to see alot more of the back story behind the Braxton bros. I am not making excuses for him and as an actor I think H & A struck gold finding him he is absolutely brilliant and obviously playing the character well or we would not be reading all the for and against him comments. I do have compassion for him as if you are brought up in this type of world then yes you live it and it is not easy to exit this lifestyle - just my thoughts anyway. There will always be characters in soap shows that the audience dislikes and that is a good thing from a female perspective I absolutely hated Amanda there's a name for a woman like that - although not a criminal she slept with her daughter's b/f for FS and there is no excuse for that but she was really sorry and her characer was portrayed as becoming this nice person and she was going to play happy families the happy ending with Peter etc. well I still hated her but she portrayed her bitch character well and I still wanted to see what the future was going to bring to her - you don't want to love everyone! The witers have done this to his character and he as an actor is GOLD and plays the part he is given I think really well. Of course the writers are going to keep this running for as long as possible with the bad boys of Summer bay it is the highest rated show in the 7 o'clock timeslot and was for most of last year so they will not jepordise that. I don't think we are ever going to see brax without his edgy/dodgy side that is what he is there for and i think we all need to see the show for what it is - a tv soap opera and over the years I have seen many soap shows where someone is murdered/hurt and the culprit gets away with it - its just the world of soap. I think Steve is an outstanding actor and channel 7 struck gold when they found him every part of his character he portrays well and that is what he is meant to do - and before I am slammed this is my opinion only.

It makes sense - I want to see the back story of Brax and his brothers and why he chose the path he did in life - more about his mum and his dad etc. and a bad upbringing does not excuse bad behaviour but it makes you understand why people make the choices they make. Mind you I am over the whole epic relationship stories then the death that always seems to follow - it's boring.

I do too they were and will always be my fav Home and Away couple ever! and I personally absolutely hated it when they paired Aden with Nicole it was just not right - but that's right another fantastic couple where one is KILLED off - so over it they need new writers just so we get something different.

Bianca is acting like a hypocrit at the moment - and her actions are only making herself feel better imo! I'm sorry, I don't agree....... Brax and Charlie dragged her and Liam into their whole twisted lives of lies and deception, she has every right to act how she is. Her actions are completely justified in my eyes. Bianca would never let herself go and completely act like like a brainless twat the way Charlie has done, and for that I am grateful. That's cool Kevin you don't have to agree but 'hypocrit' - that is exactly what I think about Bianca acting all goody goody like she is perfect and never done anything wrong and you don't think sleeping around with Heath doesn't make her just like Charlie - well to me it actually makes her worse as she knew all along she did not have emotional feelings for him and let it happen on more than one occassion but like I said just my opinion.

I don't think you have said too much to disagree with I pretty well agree with the majority of what you have said !!! Charlie is a cop and most of the time a control freak - but first and foremost Charlie is a woman and that is what I am enjoying seeing from her at the moment - she isn't always in control and that's because she is in LOVE and she is not in total control of this relationship - and Brax actually acts like a man (criminal or not) with her and he pushes her buttons and I love to see Charlie laugh and smile and actually act like a person who is in love - not just Charlie being a cop !

What you see as complex I see as inconsistent..... Just out of curiosity have you been watching since Charlie arrived....or another new viewer drawn in by the Chax stuff ? Well Whitney I am with you - what was once imo a very 'cold' character has actually shown the woman in Charlie and not just the cop. I love seeing Charlie smile and the emtions both good and bad- fabulous acting by both characters and I think these 2 characters have the most amazing on screen chemistry - and just so you know kevin I have been watching since day one back in the floss & neville days so......what's your point to that question?

Me too Whitney absolutely loving it - it's been a great year and I actually look forward to 7.00pm now at night not having to sit and put up with the crap we had to endure last year BORING!!!! - I sit, relax and watch me fav show now once again.

I haven't been watching...this is purely based on what I've already seen and the spoilers I've read!! Feels weird not watching Home and Away on a regular basis!! Glad to see you are still interested even if you aren't watching!!!!! couldn't do it myself after all it is only a tv show and not real life and people should not have problems differentiating between a tv show and real life drama.

Well said Doc - Charlie has rejected him so may times now and always puts her career before her 'Lover' which she has every right to do but she can't have it both ways she either wants him or she doesn't. I am not happy he slept with rat girl as just because someone throws themselves at you doesn't mean you have to take it however he's a guy and that's what they do sometimes to them it's just sex. I jsut want the LAZY writers to give us something new with this couple instead of the same old predictable crap we see with every great couple on H & A - always the same just different people - over it!!!!!!

Yes you are correct the newcomer is a member of a 'rival' gang (check it out on the OS)so those who are sick of watching the Braxtons/RB aren't gonna be happy lol - cos I think we will certainly be seeing lots more of them which will be great!! I also think from what I read we are going to see alot more of the story behind the Braxton family looking forward to it am loving the whole new dimension they and especially Chax are bringing to our screens have never been so eager to plant my selfish on the couch each night. Charlie and Brax are awesome to watch and as actors these 2 just have the X factor together I think Esther & Steve are doing a brilliant job and making this so enjoyable and believable to watch and we viewers are loving it - well quite alot of us anyway LOL .

I am still really unsure if the deed was done or not there were some many things said but also not said (if that makes sense) in the episode I still have a seed of doubt as the beach scene was like he was trying to tell her that he has done what he has done for a very good reason almost like he was trying to make her understand the potential danger and when he said about moving on and her not knowing him - I just don't know. I was not even panicked with skank bag lying on the bed etc. as again Brax seem to know it would be Charlie at the door - did you notice the look he gave skanky like right let's get this over and play your part - the only thing that made me think the deed was done was when he told skanky 'last night was a mistake' and made it clear it was not going to happen again. I really don't care that he is a bad boy and Charlie is a cop it is just so nice to see Charlie the woman instead of the police officer Charlie - this is showing a whole new side to her character she is happy and Brax obviously makes her happy until recently of course I want to see these 2 back together and working through all their issues cos there is lots of them

I hear what you are saying as that is the way I feel about Adelle - love Chax together but Aden & Belle are still my fav couple of all time on H & A - and I have watched right from the very first episode ever shown.

To be quite honest, I think they've got a long way to go before they become a steady couple! Both have a lot of issues to sort out first before that can really happen! As far as I know, their relationship is quite popular with H&A fans so if the writers are watching this trend, they'll know it would be stupid not to give the fans what they want at some point, but to also make it realistic, well soap-realistic, Charlie and Brax's individual characters will have to be dealt with first; their problems and their issues! I'm sure Charlie and Brax will but I'm hoping it won't be rushed...just so that it would be realistic, so that when/if they do decide to that it wouldnt be an unrealistic step for them! I agree with making it realistic for a soap anyway but I don't want to see the same path followed as previosly and always the same outcome - the writers need to give us something different and to not make things predictable.

Wish I was you! I did the same thing - saw the 'good' in a bad boy - and was divorced after a year! Lol. I know it doesn't always work sorry to hear that!

Funny, whenever Heath does try to do his own thing, Brax slaps him down because it reflects badly on him and the other River Boys, like Heath, seem to bow down to Brax and do as he commands, because he was the leader. Even now, I doubt it's easy for Heath to stand up to a man like Brax and being in a gang, he probably doesn't know any other life, except cowtowing to what Brax wants. To be given a second chance, Brax shouldn't just be allowed to walk away and be free to lie and manipulate people into believing he's an innocent man when he's not. Brax has gotten what he wants and walked away without a care for all the people harmed, sorry, but after all he's done (that we know of), I believe he should be made to pay, that's what justice is about. He shows no guilt for his crimes or for the people he's hurt, he does nothing but lie to people about where his money comes from and his involvement with the River Boys and their crimes, especially to Charlie and he makes excuses for the crimes he has committed; hardly good qualities in a person trying to be decent. I'm doing it for my family is no excuse - growing and trafficking drugs, money laundering, assaulting people aren't petty little crimes, they're major crimes, so yeah, I have a problem with a lying, manipulative man like Brax getting off scott free when I don't believe he deserves too. And in my little world, decent people don't lie and con people and they certainly don't make excuses for their crimes. I happened to find Charlie the cop one of the better and more stronger characters and as Esther has been popular well before this storyline, obviously a lot of people didn't find her boring as a cop, whereas I find a woman too weak to resist a man and running around like some desperate teen incredibly boring and in no way appealing as I've always prefered stronger characters, not women too dumb to realise they're being conned and too weak to end an unhealthy affair, especially when it's already led to her blowing a drug bust. Charlie is a cop and unless they have her decide that Brax is just so marvelous and have- her toss her career in, then they should have her act like a cop, otherwise, what is the point of putting the uniform on her; though she seems to spend more time out of it while she cavorts around with the criminal. Better yet, it'd be nice if they had her acting like a mother and not some sad and desperate teen chasing after some guy who's not even the man she thinks he is and having sex in secret. Gee, Charlie sneaking around and having sex, hasn't she done that with every relationship and hasn't every guy she's been with committed a crime - to me, repetitiveness and predictability is boring. Until he pays for his crimes, Brax doesn't deserve a second chance, especially if that second chance is nothing but lies and deceptions. Also, if he gets off without Charlie realising his guilt, then that means if they contintue with their affair, then it will be based on his lies and her misguided belief he is innocent and not a bad person; for some unknown reason, I've always thought a relationship should have honesty and trust or it's not much of a relationship. oh my god - that lecture was more full on than my mum used to give me 25 years ago, didn't mean to offend lol - I have been married for 22 years to a bad boy turned good because we met each other and we have never looked back - it does happen and I knew exactly what he was like but still fell for him best decision I ever made was seeing the good in him but still keeping my eyes open. I find Charlie the cop boring sometimes and shows no emotion what so ever I have thoughly enjoyed seeing the lighter side of her and Brax obviously brings that out in her - I think this has brought a whole side to her character and sorry but I am enjoying the show again after losing Adelle from our screens it has been great viewing. As for the having sex hasn't almost every female and male been doing this in SB for quite sometime - it's a bit like a boy/girl go round she is not alone on that score. To me I think the writers are lazy as they can never show a relationship that goes through the rough times and makes it out the other side it is always the same and can see it coming now - break up, one or the other sleeps with someone else, get jelaous, a lot of drama inbetween and then get back together - that's boring and predictable to watch and when two people on a SOAP have great chemistry as it is only a SOAP then use it to their advantage and not take the easy storyline everytime. Different characters but always the same road they follow for the same out come.

Heath doesn't have to do what his brother says you know - he could actually be his own man - but no it is easier for Heath just bum around surf all day drink etc... Hate to live in your world where no-one gets a second chance and even when they do try to actually become a decent human being still get slammed down. You want Charlie the cop - Well sorry but how boring (IMO) is charlie the 'COP'.

While I love Brax in the show, I agree with this as it pertains to real life. Too many tough guys have "rules" re violence against women that they bend in all sorts of other ways incl. making an exception for women who "deserve it". Well as yet we haven't seen Brax bash any female or even hint that he would 'if she deserved it' - I can't see it myself.
