Hehe I watched over the Hedge this morning. I really liked it as well, first film that I have seen in a while. Final destination three is calling for tonight and I also really want to see Ldy in the Water, it looks amazing. Mind you if it's anything like the village...

Well just thought I would give this topic a little resurrection as there have been a fair few improvements to the show lately. I have only currently seen up to the episode after Rosie and Demi leaving as I tape my episodes but I feel that since they left Charlie G Hawkins (Darren) has really come into his own in terms of acting. I think the show in my opnion is a lot better than the last couple of years, yet ratings are still going down, and emmerdale is thrashing it. (Although that disaster was amazing) What does everyone think about eastenders now do you think it has improved or got worse?

Tomorrow in fact! -I think! Liam

I have heard that she IS currently staying, but have also heard rumors of axings due in eastenders so it is likely that she will be axed in my opinion. Liam

The influx of characters in my opinion has been way to quick. In regards to the Johnny storyline you mentioned, that seems to me as if it will be a big dramatic episode or week of episodes and then it will be back to how it is currently. I also feel that the Millers are being given rubbish storylines at the minute and this to me suggests a reason behind the axings of Rosie and Demi. These characters have proven they can be better than people like Keith and Dawn, yet the material they are stuck with means they have been axed. Martin and Sonia also get way too much screen time for my liking. Liam

Well I thought i would bring this up again as there is quite a lot to say in my opinion about the 2006 eastenders. First off, the end of last year was superb, great storylines, great episodes and generally a huge improvement that made me want to watch the soap episode after episode. Now i find it an struggle to actually sit and watch one episode- so i don't. Both the plots, and the introduction of new charatcers have gone haywire, and the show is propbably currently at the worst i have ever seen it. There is the odd story i see in magazines that i really want to know about. (Honey's secret, if anyone knows what it is ), and the rest is drowned out by character axings, recycled storylines, and certain people hogging screen time. I'm not sure if anyone agrees, but i feel that the bbc, have gone downhill with both casualty and eastenders recently. I would be interested to hear others opinions too! Liam

I have to say i loved last nights episode. It was fantastic with them showing all the different people of the square grieving for Dennis. I also like Deano he seems ace and there was a great mix of comedy and drama last night. As for Rosie and Mike. There is obviously an affair on the cards its just a matter of when it happens. I'm not sure if i like this or not. Liam

King Kong. The latest version. For anyone who hasn't seen it i would more than reccomend it. It's superb! Liam

It was a very emotional ending and it will be interesting to see peoples reactions, because nobody even knew she was dying bar Kat and Alfie. Liam

I see what everyone means too! I am loving Stacey and her mum and Chrissie/Jake but then as soon as Pat and Frank come on i want to hit the telly! Liam
-
I loved the Stacey and her mum scenes last night! Played so well...I'm still not keen on the trial but liked the scenes with Mo and Pat. Am dreading Frank! Liam
-
See Janines trial doesnt really appeal to me much. In my opinion it would be far more effective if Janine was actually there or it wasnt done at all! Liam

Eastenders has been great this week. I have really enjoyed it for the first time since a big storyline. It seemed to all go well this week and i found myself not wanting to miss an episode. Clearly there is improvement IMO. Do you agree? Liam
-
I have to say Tuesdays episode. (29/11) Was superbly ace. One of the best non-dramatic eastenders episodes i have enjoyed for a while. Liam
-
I agree! Martin would be much better in a different relationship, perhaps with someone like stacey? and Sonia would be better getting axed. I thought the crazy Sarah stuff was good but they KEEP dragging Chloe up again and it drives everyone mad!= because the storyline is so overused. Liam
-
Thanks Di! See i think Grant and Phil is too obvious as Chrissie said she would never sell to a Mitchell and I dont think Johnny would work for them. Kevin Wicks seems too far off for it to be plausible in my opinion, and it would mean nothing to the audience. Frank is a possibilty but it seems pointless as he is only there for a week! I dont really understand why he is coming back for the trial considering thetrial wont even be shown to be honest. I think its very unlikely to be him but he is the best bet out of the four you mentioned. Any other possibilities anyone. I am stumped! Liam

Does anyone know the secret vic buyer? Its driving me mad! Liam
-
True to all of the above! Im still rooting for them to carry on with the scott, kelly storyline though as feelings dont just go away! Liam That also leaves dawn to be with someone new!
-
I liked the character when they did the incest storyline with Scott. I thought that was done really well and would rather see that develop than see Kelly sleeping with half the village! Liam
-
Lol those spoilers sound great! Wonder if they will follow them through now? Also Kelly's next conquest after is ! That girl sure gets around! Liam
-
Apparently: Carl's next conquest is: Liam

Yay back to the square tonight. Hopefully eastenders can keep up with its consistently high standards until the abysmal (IMO) events of last week! Liam
-
Im confused-who was Roberts first? Also i kind of blame Max himself and Robert because Robert drove the car but max caused the crash because Andy was keeping calm and I feel Robert would have chickened out! Liam
-
I just heard: Concerns Nanas dying wishes Liam
-
Oh Just had another brainwave about the crash on Sunday. Liam
