Hi , my name is Melvyn Emmett and am 65 years of age. I live in Margate,Kent , England , married nearly 40 years with 5 children.

I have been following Home and Away for many years and am always amazed by the real life situations the writers come up with.

The latest , centred around Gina,Brendan and his friend Ruby is fantastic. My youngest son is Downs' syndrome so I have a keen interest in special needs.This particular storyline is sensitively handled and I can empathise with Gina's dilemma .Well done everyone.
