I should be glad that Charlie has Jacob back and that she can move on with her life with Jacob and Ruby, but I can't help but being sad that Brax isn't in their lives anymore. I hope he gets out early somehow, so he can try to win his family back. I can't wait to read more, thank you so much for all your lovely updates!

Since we are all free to share our opinions on Charlie Buckton, I will share mine as well... I have been watching Home and Away for a long time now. I must admit it is possible I have missed a few episodes here and there, but that won't change the fact that I am finally liking Charlie. I thought she was okay with Roman, a bit clingy, but likeable. Then her character just went downhill for me. Lots of you will disagree with me but I thought Charlie's relationship with Joey was more of a sisterly-relationship, they were both alone and needed someone, nothing romantic or passionate about that. The fact that Joey was a woman has nothing to do with that, there were no butterflies, there was no lust, only caring for each other and that is not enough to build a relationship on. Glad that was over before it even started. But I don't want to offend any Charlie and Joey fans here, I understand that you don't share my opinion, just like I hope you understand that I don't share yours. I didn't like her with Angelo as well, he was not strong enough for her. She needs to be with someone who has a big personality (I can hear some of you saying: personality being a criminal... but I don't really care about that, Brax knows what he wants, Angelo didn't) and Angelo never had that. I must admit at the end of last season I was starting to warm up to them, finally they were moving forward without taking two steps back every time. I wasn't too happy when I heard they would pair Charlie off with someone new, but it played out perfectly. Finally, we see Charlie as a woman apart from her job (like Tobygirl said, I must agree with you on that point). We saw a little bit of that Charlie with Roman but not enough. She can't act on automatic pilot anymore, she can't control her feelings anymore so she'd better learn to live with them. And that is what she is doing. Finally I am seeing the Charlie I want to see... a woman who wants to be with they guy she loves and (within reasonable boundaries) is willing to do what it takes to be with him. I am not talking about getting rid of that evidence or lying about the accident... this is Summer Bay, everyone lies and has secrets. But that is just my point of view. Feel free to disagree.

I liked it! I am glad Ruby and Charlie talked things true. Not sad about Angelo dying, really not. Sorry for Jacob though, he will need a father. My only wish is that Charlie and Brax make up, but I guess that will be hard after everything that has happened. Oh, and I don't want Brax to go jail. I loved it, I can't wait to read more! I guess this had to happen, but I didn't want it to. Charlie will be so upset and Brax really does love her. He loves her baby as well, probably even more than Angelo does. I have to say I love your fanfic, I loved Brax and Olivia. I hope Brax, Charlie and Olivia become a family, with Ruby of course. I can't wait until you next chapter!

I think they let every couple have happy times and darker times. No couple on Home and Away lives happily ever after with no problems. Also, in soaps miscarriage is a common theme, lots of characters have storylines involving losing babies, kids. It is not easy to find little children (2/3/4 year-olds) to play on these shows (so I have heard), so they can't really bring new kids into the show with the intension to keep them. So they let women get pregnant, have a 'who is the daddy' storyline and then losing the baby. I think that is a lack of originality of the writers. It just has been done in every show too many times (or maybe I only watch the shows where they have storylines like that). My wish is that they make Miles and Leah a permanent (or at least as permanent as possible) couple. So they won't get too many happy times, but no darker times as well then. We will see them together, but only briefly as the focus will lay on Leah or Miles' interaction with other people, not so much on their relationship as such. Because if a couple is too happy, it always gets messed up. No couple can be happy for too long on the show! But on topic again: You either love Charlie and Brax or you hate them, there is no in between. That is what the writers want, they want us to feel strongly about them one way or another. So far, it is working brilliantly. I want them together again very badly, I won't deny that.

I totally understand what you mean. We have had way too many 'dark scenes' between them. I think of them as a very extreme couple: very high highs and very low lows. In the beginning they were fun, happy, sexy... but we all knew the writers wouldn't let them stay that way. We didn't see any other couple (Leah and Miles, Roo and Sid...) have so many fun and light scenes, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised that we are now getting a lot of dark and depressing scenes. I am starting to get fed up with all this drama, I am still enjoying them though. When this whole mess is over, we will get to see them again like they were in the beginning of their relationship... At least for a while. I really believe that. I think once they get back to just being happy together, we will love them as much as in the beginning. I think it is important that we can see them getting closer again, they shouldn't just get back together overnight. I think after this mess with Casey is sorted (and he probably goes to jail/juve), the show will focus on the Charlie and Brax relationship again. That hasn't been the case the last couple of weeks, the focus has been on all the drama and negative things Brax (and his family) has (have) done. Those things do leave a bad taste into our mouths, but I hope they can make us 'forget' about those things... or at least separate these things from the Charlie and Brax relationship. I don't want to see all these negative things hanging like a sword of Damocles over them. You might not be able to change your mind when they do get back together, it is possible you still won't like them... but I kind of hope you do though! You liked them in the past, so I hope they get the right storylines so you will be able to like them again!

I think the beginning of that conversation with the inspector was important, he thinks the gangs will take each other out. Since Brax is part of one of these gangs, the inspector thinks he will show his true colours soon. He might think Charlie will be repulsed by Brax' behavior and end the relationship once she sees what he is capable of (because that feud between the River Boys and Hammer's gang cannot end well). In my opinion, the inspector did not take Charlie's confession very seriously and he thinks this will all blow over soon.
