^It feels more like a summary of 2010 than an actual review. I would've liked your opinions on the story lines, characters, etc.

About 6-8 weeks So does that mean Wednesday and Friday's episodes were filmed 6-8 weeks ago and Thursday's episode was filmed on Thursday? It must have been extremely difficult for them to set up the wreckage again just for the live episode. Continuity would have been so hard! Not to mention they'd be bringing back Vicky Binns to film her final scenes after a 6-8 week absence.

How far in advance are regular Coronation Street episodes filmed?
-
Yes, Ashley's dead. Not a spoiler. It has been confirmed on the official site.

News reports suggest that Blaine might be becoming a series regular. He got an AWESOME response from fans.

The promo for the 'Rocky Horror' ep is AMAZING. I can't believe I have to wait two weeks for it. 'Duets' was really good. I loved to see a different, more serious side to Brittany when she was apologizing to Artie. But I really thought that the Brittana make-out scene was out-of-place.

Britney/Brittany - amazing episode. Really loved it. But I think I'm more looking forward to "Grilled Cheesus" next week. It looks set to be VERY emotional, and I love these eps of Glee.
-
What? Really? Since she's now at Vocal Adrenaline and still at McKinley I assumed we would be seeing more of her *shrugs*. Not the case. She's not at McKinley anymore. She's transferred to the school that Vocal Adrenaline belongs to, but we won't be seeing them until after Sectionals next year in January/February. Add to that: The previews of the songs in the Britney episode are here. I'm not really liking 'Toxic', but I'm LOVING Artie's 'Stronger'. I don't know how fitting Paramore's 'The Only Exception' is in the episode but we'll see when it airs. I'm not a fan of Brittany's voice either. Probably why the producers decided to give her songs that don't really need an amazing voice. My opinion, of course.

I agree with everything you said about the first episode. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK! It's a pity you've warmed to Charice though. This ep was her first and final appearance on Glee this year.

'Telephone' by Sunshine and Rachel 'Billionaire' by Sam, Artie, Puck and Finn 'Listen' by Sunshine 'What I Did For Love' by Rachel 'Empire State of Mind' by the cast ENJOY!
-
^I have. And BECKY - "That's just embarrassing" Sue is a bad influence on her. I think so he can be closer to Quinn.
-
^Do you not mean Quinn/Santana? I'm excited about EEK! Can't wait!

Jen, Charice will not be a guest star. She is joining the show as a regular character - an exchange student who arrives at McKinley and Rachel is jealous of. She's not incredibly famous either so even if she were to join the cast as a guest character (though I reiterate that she isn't), I would hardly qualify her as a "guest star". Besides, she has an amazing singing voice - in the league of Jonathan Groff, so I think her character will be a good addition. Ryan Murphy has said that while there are new characters joining the show (John Stamos guest starring as Carl, Charice, Javier Bardem, etc.), they are there to support the original cast members and not take away from them. Half of the announcements online about guest stars next season (Susan Boyle, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Snoop Dogg etc.) are all rumours and have been denied as being true anyway. You have nothing to worry about. The show is in good hands and I trust the creators. EDIT: Turns out Javier Bardem isn't going to be in season 2 of Glee after all. See what I mean? Rumours!

Dexter Walker - Tom Green & Charles Cottier
Nathan. replied to Jen's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
I don't find Miles camp at all. Perhaps it's his rugged hair and drab clothing. I find Dexter to be more clean-cut so I do get that campiness from him. I could see Dexter being in a gay storyline, or possibly bullied for his difference and accused of being gay. That seems more fitting. The more I think about it though, he's nothing like Tom's Dexter who I didn't get "camp" from at all so it seems more to do with the actor than the character. Interviews on the official website show Charles to be quite similar to Dexter - if not more camp I do know the actor comes from a theatrical background so that may have a lot to do with it. Theatre actors tend to be over the top with acting in comparison to screen actors. I do like the character though. I see a lot of early Robbie in him, although that could probably be put down to the mere fact that both were far from the typical Summer Bay jocks we are used to. -
Funny that. I'm not sure if you're aware but Kev Williamson - the writer of Dawson's Creek - writes for The Vampire Diaries. Amazing writer.

While I think John Stamos' casting as Carl is odd (FYI, it's not a spoiler), I have faith in the casting directors. They haven't failed us yet. I loved the season finale but am a bit unsure about Sue turning nice, even if it was for a little while. I liked her trying to destroy the Glee club but her being responsible for their renewal will more or less banish that option for her character next season. They'll need another excuse to make her bad.

VERY considerate of them. I'm impressed.

Let me correct you - long list of celeb cheats. Celebs aren't the only ones that cheat. They're just the only ones we hear about. Not sure where I read this but a few years ago someone lent me a book called "50 years of Coronation Street" so it might have been there. Anyway, I remember reading that when they were doing the very first opening theme for Corrie a cat happened to be sitting on the wall so they panned in on it with the camera. Don't know if it's the same cat from then that they still show nowadays or if it's a different one. I think it's safe to say that it is a different cat. Cats don't usually live forty plus years .
-
WOW! They're awesome. Love the title card too and the alley cat.
-
^And Sue Sylvester! Burt sticking up for Kurt to Finn - most emotional, touching (etc.) moment in the entire series.
-
Listen to the preview of Bad Romance - amazing.

I watched the latest episode 'Bad Reputation' and it, along with 'The Power of Madonna', is one of my favourite episodes ever. Old characters came back, new characters were bought in, twists and turns, wonderful songs - it had everything. I have to disagree with you MeganSaturday, I felt that while 'Home' wasn't as strong as other episodes - it had a story and a strong message that suited the show quite well. I didn't like the extensive singing from Mr Scheuster and April, but besides that I thought it was a good episode. Just different.
