You’re so right about Cleo waffling a bit and it’s definitely SO Cleo to be compassionate about Martha, even though she was out to get the mermaids into serious trouble with her hacking. It’s great that they’re now all friends (well, sort of) and about to embark on their new business venture together. Can’t wait for the next/last chapter – can it really all end happily?

Re Ch 20: Well, bad girl Martha is being REALLY bad now – shooting at police officers! I have to admit that I wasn’t really expecting Colleen to be the computer hacker, but then again having Colleen as a secret computer genius would have been cool!!! Re Ch 21: Love those pics of “Charlie” and “Martha” – he, he.

Wow, SUCH a lot to catch up on since I’ve been away!! BTW, happy 2010 everyone. Please note that these comments relate back to Chapter 10, which is where I’d got to before Christmas. Loved all the sisterly love (he, he) between Kim and Cleo when the mermaids revealed their secret to their families. I also loved that Elliot expressed an interest in becoming a merboy. Cool that you included your fave line of Rikki’s (about flashing Elliot) from the Young Love H2O ep. Also loved that you had Terry asking Rikki how she managed to wash in their caravan with only a shower and not a bath like Em and Cleo – great explanation re the tailfin! Awesomely sad scene when Cleo had to say goodbye to Ronnie (sniff, sniff) and I loved that Miss Chatham made an appearance to foretell of the girls happiness in SB but also of great danger. SO cool that you included news of Ric and Maddie's forthcoming marriage, which is great as we haven’t heard a lot of Ric and Maddie in real H&A since they left. That was a great line in Ch. 14 where you were talking about there being a “sweet gentleness to Cleo, even when she's tongue kissing you like there's no tomorrow!!!!” (great subtle mention of the film Tomorrow that Pheobe Tonkin/Cleo is in – that was SO clever!). We all know that Colleen would certainly comment on the mergirls kissing each other in public, but that was classic when you had Leah reply “Well, unless you got the names wrong, it ISN’T that way now.” after Colleen told Leah that Cleo and Em were kissing. Poor Colleen – she’s barely got over Jarlie and now she has a girlie foursome to contend with! And not only was Colleen shocked but also Geoff was pretty gobsmacked too (loved his reaction). It was also great that Annie also had a telepathic moment there when she told the others to duck just as bad, bad Martha was about to shoot! Can’t wait to find out what happens next …

Loved Ruby saying that being a mermaid would be like being diabetic but millions of times worse, and also cool what Miles said about when he was just Milco. Having someone around like Rachel would be great for the girls in real H2O, so they could find out if they do have any physiological differences from ordinary humans. Loved that Nic asked if they’d been abducted by aliens, and loved the little verbal spat between Geoff and Aden. You really got it right with all the Baysiders and their likely reactions to finding out about mermaids! And Rikki’s “I hope” was SO Rikki. Looking forward to a big catch-up on this great fanfic when I get back after Christmas/New Year!!

It’s great that things seem to be going better for the mer-girls now and Joey’s definitely on their side (I agree with Red Ranger 1 that it looks like Charlie might have reason for concern there). I love that Joey noticed that the mer-girls' cleavages got bigger after they turned mermaid. Also loved that Ruby was embarrassed by the talk from Charlie about what she and Joey would be getting up to in the bedroom later!

Love how the girls demonstrated their skills to the SB folk and cool inclusion of the pics for anyone who hasn’t seen H2O and the mermaid transformation that the girls undergo when they contact water. I love the ending of Ch 7 – I can’t wait to find out what Joey is going to say!

Oh dear, that’s SO not what Bella and Rikki had planned – they’d better start talking, FAST. It’s great that the mergirls like Irene instantly and know she can be trusted. Loved when Cleo said she’d known Em her whole life and still didn’t know what she was talking about – he, he!! I can’t wait to find out the families’ reactions to being told, especially Kim and Elliot.

Cool that I had 2 chapters to read today as I missed yesterday’s. I totally enjoyed the Maddie/Bella and Romeo/Will confusion for the SB residents (he, he) and loved Bella’s comment “you would too, if you’d lived my life” when Irene said she has an old head on young shoulders. I also loved that Annie thought the plane crash landing safely was a miracle and SO cool that you managed to mention Craig Lowndes in your fic (knowing how much you love motor racing). This chapter reminds me of that saying “No good deed goes unpunished” with the mermaid girls possibly landing themselves in big trouble after preventing any loss of life in that plane crash.

Re the title, that song is also one of my fave songs! I’m loving this fic and I’m very happy that it’s going to be going on for a long time!! Red Ranger 1: we do get H2O: Just Add Water here, but so far it’s only been shown on Nickelodeon, which is only available via satellite TV. Some eps can be seen on youtube (and it’s also available on DVD) if you don’t have access to satellite TV.

Love the pics, and Bella and Cleo handled the preparation for the crash magnificently. More, more, more!! …

Another amazing fanfic (just like all your others!), which has got off to a great start. Love the title and it’s really cool having H&A and H2O characters together like this. Can’t wait for the next exciting installment.

Fantastic last chapter – kept me guessing right till the end. I loved that bit about Belle hugging “herself” when hugging Helena during the celebrations. And great about Helena planting a thought in Belle’s mind to fix Mattie’s worries about THAT kiss. Loved the epilogue details and I’m SO glad that Colleen was only convicted of manslaughter, as it was an accident. Hope she doesn’t have to serve too long a sentence!!!! I was hoping Kit would actually come out of her coma for the finale, but I’m happy that Archie’s future is secure with his loving aunts Mattie and Belle and his soon-to-be born cousin. Also cool that Helena, Saskia and Alan returned home safely and achieved their goal of freeing their friends. (I just LOVE happy endings!!!!!!!!!) Bet you WAY loved writing those end scenes with Belle and Mattie back together!!!!

Wow, lots happened in this chapter. I SO loved that Jedi stuff about planting ideas (also thinks of that great Supernatural ep “Simon Said”). That’s a great idea about the new type of scanner that can detect fingerprints through gloves (CSI would just LOVE that) and I also loved the detail about Alan sending the new scanner to CSIRO. Cool stuff about that scatter field too – loved your detailed explanation of that. I have to say when Mattie said to Annie “How on Earth am I going to tell her?” my literal side thought, because of the aliens, that she could perhaps tell her in space (he, he, he!!!). Loved that penultimate line that one person was hoping that the new scanner wasn’t as good as Claire said. Great ending to this chapter and wonderful lead in to the next ...

Cooooooool – thanks for all these “extras”. I’m SO looking forward to the next chapter in 2008 (will definitely being doing some pondering)!! Happy 2008 everyone!

LOVED that Jedi line and the Heroes stuff, and that the Earnhardt family ARE actual aliens. I almost wrote that they were “aliens” after the last chapter, but then I wasn’t sure if they might be just some new species from Earth (like the Heroes thing!). All Mattie’s questions were great, including her asking Helena’s age and what she really looks like. Cool disguise that the recording device looks like a model car – I wonder how you came up with that idea. He, he!! And I’m still wondering what’s going to happen about Rach and that vase …

Coooooooooooool chapter, WAY loved the supernatural element and that Helena and her family are mind-reading shape-shifters!! Helena’s rant when she got home after finding out about Belle was brilliant – LOVED what she said! … and GREAT family name Earnhardt for the shapeshifters. I also loved how you put in that reference to Brooke Satchwell & Billie Piper look-alikes. Wonderful bit about Colleen dropping the plate when she saw Mattie and Helena together – he, he. Terrific ending to this chapter with us waiting to find out what Mattie's reaction is to Helena’s admission. Also loved the pics – it’s great to be able to see what Saskia and Jack look like. I can’t wait to find out why Helena had that VERY powerful thought about “someone” in the Diner.

He, he – LOVED that comment about the Bay’s new Scooby gang and also that very cool one from Mattie “Looks like Belle Obi-Wan’d you”. Annie’s reaction reminded me of Bones when she doesn’t understand the pop culture references. Great news that the gang have found the Belle lookalike. Poor Belle and Mattie – they’re really suffering but I’m sure it won’t be for long! It was soooo sweet that Mattie found Annie beside her in the morning, which made her feel better! I’m intrigued by the fact that there is an identical vase to the one that killed Kimmy (at the hospital) and also that Rach thinks she might have done something and blanked it out!!! I want to know more about what secret Rachel is hiding re the conversation Nurse Julie overheard when Rach was on the phone. Can’t wait for the next thrilling installment …!!!!!

It’s great that the 4 amateur detectives – Annie, Gypsy, Matilda & Lucas – are on the case now, as well as Morag (so Belle should be fine!). I loved that Gypsy paired with Annie so she could take the innocent Annie under her wing and presumably help stop her talking to the likes of Colleen. Great line from Gypsy: “Colleen, I’ve NEVER listened to ANY of your advice before, so don’t even BEGIN to think that I’m going to start now”. I loved that bit about when Tasha’s Dad bugged the Beach House. Yeah, wouldn’t it have been cool if they could have seen who planted that vase. I’m looking forward to finding out about that Glenda woman and what’s going to happen with Luc/Lara …

Yay, I’m just sooooooooo loving the latest chapter of YKK, it was GREAT. That interfering woman Glenda has really got it in for poor Belle. Just who is this woman – she must be related to Colleen!!!! I’m really looking forward to finding out more. Loved what you said about the vase being at risk of being smashed because of the vibrations from Kimmy’s empty head. So funny!!!!! I’m with Belle on not liking the name Susan as I don’t like it either!! (Just in case any other readers think I’m being rude, yes it IS my name too.) Eagerly awaiting Chapter 13 (unlucky for some!!!!!) …

Yeah, I agree with Irene, Mattie and Annie – I’m sure Belle is being framed too. I know I’ve said this before, but I love that Amanda’s got a role in AS and also that her AS cast name is Jaina Gilmore. Cool reference to your earlier fic The Glowing City, with Amanda and Kit in that Sydney Harbour Bridge scene. BTW, when they found THAT vase in Annie’s drawer, I couldn’t help thinking that contact with Kimmy’s incredibly dense head (ooops, did I say that?!) would have surely resulted in fatal damage to the vase (i.e. it’d be smashed to pieces)!!!! He, he, he.

Loved the ref to Angie, Sarah, Zoë/Eve. I adored that Colleen flashback – that was soooooo cool. I know I’d had spoiler info from you that it was going to happen, but I loved the way you wrote it, with that kiss between Belle and Mattie setting Colleen off crying and remembering. And that explains a lot about the way she feels about Belle/Mattie, and indeed the way that Madge feels about Colleen. Also loved that “glorified extra” (well, they’re always out and about in the Bay aren’t they?) – he, he.

Love Colleen’s ambition to break up Belle and Mattie by splitting them physically if Belle is in prison (or could that be just to get suspicion away from herself?!!). That was so sweet about Annie feeling like she has 2 brothers now, with Luc caring so much about her. And I can’t wait to hear about that shocking secret from the past …

LOVED that potato sack comment (was it a pink one? He, he). Knowing how much you love Kimmy I laughed at that line: “both suspect that this wasn’t just Kimmy having a clumsy accident all by himself.” Also great that Lara was thinking about how the murder could affect her relationship with Luc. And Colleen’s evil plan (can’t wait) – BUT I’m sure her intentions are good!!!!! Typical Colleen.

Cool that we get the next chapter early (BIG yay for the V8s!). Loved the camera angle stuff and that the caring killer dropped Archie off safely at Irene’s. WHO dunnit??????!!!! I dunno. Way looking forward to all the intrigue and suspicion before we find out …
