Thanks for that, it is scary in there and I'm sure I wasn't helping anything. People just get me all riled up with their vendettas. I KNOW I should ignore them... As such, I think I'll put my Rachel observations for the night in here. I don't think it was her place to try and get Tony to get rid of his nephews. If she had have said "I'm pregnant, I don't need the stress," yeah, I would have called her selfish - you know I would have, even though that would be a legitimate reason - but I also would have respected her honesty. Instead she tried to manipulate Tony by constantly asking him, "don't YOU want them to go somewhere else?" and no matter how many times he said no, she kept saying the same thing, until she went over Tony's head and told Hugo that they should leave on TONY's behalf... when Tony wasn't the one who had a problem with them! It's a bit much.

Well, to the Rachel fans I am trying to prove that just because I don't like her, doesn't mean the whole board is out to get them. I am actually hoping that lots of Rachel fans vote and show their support, because I think it will take a lot of the heat out of the argument that I'm somehow turning everyone against her. I really really really don't want to fight about this anymore, I just want to put a number on it so I can point to it and say "here, this many people love her, and this many like her, and this many don't care at all." I am not a bad person...
-
Well, I don't see why it should cause a fight, but I was angry when I made it so I guess I could edit it to make it more neutral. I honestly want to know what people think of her without having to fight about it. I thought that a poll was the quickest and easiest way to do that. You don't have to post at all, just click how you feel

Not wanting to stir up trouble again, but I would genuinely like to see the results of this poll, if people wouldn't mind voting What do you think of Rachel?

I know what you mean. I couldn't even tell you what happened on Tuesday night - all I know is that there was an annoying helicopter, some battery acid, and a lot of infuriating and out of place characters. Also Bart and Gavin were there. No idea what happened to Gavin's character though - did he even survive?? Contrast that with this morning's Hallmark episode, where I'm paying such attention to detail that I noticed that Scottie's hair was gelled up all fancy-like for the opening of the new clinic, and you can tell which series I'm more interested in. There was also a subplot about half the hospital staff being suspected of murder, but it was all about Scottie's hair And that brown suede jacket with the wool trim... mmm To be honest, I'm getting concerned about the Hallmark series too. (In case anyone hasn't seen these eps) are already gone. I like the relative newcomers Sterlo and Vince (in a love to hate him kind of way), and the Irish girl has her moments, so it's not a total loss yet by any means. And at the very least, I know that Charlotte and Von aren't going anywhere, and that I have my favourites from the later series to look forward to. Von: "God, Levine, don't go all sentimental on me. Haven't you learned anything ?"

That is, "some people have the ability to skip over the posts they don't want to read," but since I evidently don't have it myself, I thought it would be hypocritical for me to say so.

Nevermind.

See, that's why I haven't bothered coming in here. It's not whether she dersevers it or not, it's whether I want to post and say that she deserves it. I give my reasons, and if they're not good enough then they're not good enough. The difference between what Belle was doing and what Rachel is doing is that Belle was always shown to be doing the wrong thing. Rachel rarely gets that spin, she's always shown to be the saint no matter what she does, which is why I react so strongly to it because I see her as an extremely selfish and manipulative person. If she was being purposefully written that way, with the other characters saying, "Gee Rachel, you're being very selfish and manipulative today!" it would be a completely different thing. If she owned it, like Jazz did, I'd probably even like her for it. But she doesn't. She just does whatever she wants and expects to get away with it. It's like she's been giving Melody lessons on it in her spare time, except that Melody hasn't learned to be subtle about it.

Except for when she just outed Bridget in front of everyone for no other reason that she didn't want Bridget to win against her. She can't have really done it for Alf, or else she never would have humiliated him like that. She was expecting Alf to thank her for telling him the truth, but he rightly told her to get stuffed because the way she did it was incredibly selfish and insensitive. She didn't care about anything but her own satisfaction in taking Bridget down as publicly as possible. Probably some residual jealousy over Bridget sleeping with Tony, too.

Angelo 16 Charlie 30 Irene 7 Jack 48 Martha 27 Ollie 12 Still just trying to even out the numbers... sorry Jackie.

Just getting the ball rolling in here on the negative, since I've been chased out of Aus Discussion once again. I think Rachel's being self-centered as usual, and she only wants to "help" Tony so that she gets to be the perfect hero who gets to cure him of his grief by giving him a new baby so that he can forget all about Jack and focus entirely on her and her baby.

Angelo 16 Charlie 27 Irene 8 Jack 48 Martha 28 Ollie 13

According to IMDB, he played Zac Croft from 1998-1999.

It came up in an image search, but I would guess it's from Heartbreak High.

Angelo - 19 Charlie - 28 Irene - 7 Jack - 46 Martha - 27 Ollie - 13

Since Leah is out, and homeandawayxoxo took a point away from both Leah and Angelo in one turn, I'm going to put Angelo back to 19 points instead of 18 before I add my votes. Angelo - 19 Charlie - 27 Irene - 6 Jack - 48 Martha - 27 Ollie - 13 No offense, Jack, but I want to at least make it interesting!

he was very very close to Ricky and Dan and one is brutally murdered and the other goes off without talking to him let alone anyone else (writers not to blame obviously) and he hasnt been able to deal with it yet Jack's gone too - Bart's the last one left of that particular foursome It's going to take a lot of hard work to get me interested in a season where three of my favourite characters are long gone, and Jack's the only one who even has a theoretical chance of ever coming back. Contracts running out at the same time sux. People should plan these things better

Angelo - 18 Charlie - 20 Irene - 7 Kirsty- 9 Jack - 41 Leah - 12 Martha - 21 Morag - 7 Ollie - 9 Xavier - 6
