Did Chris Reynolds even get a chance to you-know-what Bobby between when she met him and when Alf and Mr Fisher sprung him for playing around on his wife?
-
When did Chris Reynolds ....... (how do I put this politely?) cause Bobby to get pregnant with the baby she miscarried (678)? Remember when Bobby was seeing him from the dating agency, and she chose him over Geoffrey Lime (549). She stays out all night with him (554) and footage is shown of him using a payphone to call his wife to explain why he has been coming home late, then kissing Bobby in his car (555). Alf, meanwhile, recognises him from somewhere.......and realises it was at a BBQ and he has been playing around on his wife, and tells him to leave Bobby alone just when Bobby finds out what he is. It was a long time between this, and when Bobby got pregnant.

Were the "Singapore" locations (where Bobby and Frank had their honeymoon, and Alsa had a stopover on her way to London to run away from Alf) really filmed in Singapore?

What things never made sense to you on Home and Away?

Morag being referred to as "Buggsy" and "B", and wearing thick glasses, when Bobby was going through Martha's diaries searching for her real mother -
So. In conclusion, his parents and guardians abandoned him basically, and it looks to me like an oversight on the part of the writers (probably led by Mr David Worthington) not to have a DOCS representative present to fulfil the requirement to have a guardian present when a juvenile suspect is questioned by police. "Pippa" got sick of his lying, and Tom was conveniently away on a business trip at the time all this blew up. When this storyline was next covered by Home And Away in 1995, it looks like Dodge had good legal representation in court, as he had the charge reduced from murder to manslaughter, as he didn't mean to kill Uncle Phillip, and he was a stupid kid trying to "get the old bag" by burning down her shop. And he served 6 (not 5, according to the story in 1995) years in jail, a common continuity error on the part of the writers.

How do I find an old question that has already been answered somewhere? eg. Why wasn't a parent or guardian present when Dodge was interviewed by the police (374) as he was still underage?

Both Lance and Martin are as dumb as dog ****, yes. Russell is just a thug.
-
I couldn't agree more. I reckon the writers had them win the lottery to give us some laughs ?

In Episode 145, remember when Brett was having his cocktail party at Alf & Alsa's house to showcase the proposed Macklin property development for Summer Bay, and Martin went to the cocktail party with Norelle and Bobby, in Lance's lovely $100,000 set of wheels. The car, all $100,000 worth, was stolen from outside the house. Sadly, we'll never know who stole it, and the joyrider will never get caught, and we know Lance didn't get it insured, Martin his "financial manager" "didn't get around" to getting the car insured. Anyway. My question is: why did Martin leave the keys in the ignition? Why did Martin sneak into the cocktail party?

Alf & Alsa got married before they were ready. It was rushed. Alsa could have moved in to Alf's house to live with him, to get used to the idea, before proceeding with the wedding. It's a pity bigots like Vera Bennett have a bee in their bonnet about couples living together before they are married.
-
These possibilities do sound plausible. I am just cynical about the idea of "secret weddings", hence why I posted this question

What was the idea of having Alf and Alsa marry "off-screen" in Episode 86?

There seems to be some confusing terms and ways they seemed to describe Steven's relationship with Sandra Barlow. Some say they were "just friends" but some scenes showed them kissing, and Steven says she was his "best friend ever" and Steven told Frank on the day she said she was leaving, that he wasn't "in love with" Sandra despite the kissing and carrying on. What gives?

In the "pilot episode", just after Tom and "Pippa" moved their family to the Summer Bay Caravan Park and bought it from Alf, one of the caravans caught fire. Bobby strenuously denied this, and this was before the "nutter" was roaming Summer Bay, and they couldn't prove Bobby lit the caravan. Who lit it?

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but when was the episode when Alf confiscated "Duncan"'s mobile phone, and smashed it? This was in the Surf Club, from memory around the year 2001, when "Duncan" was in Morag's custody, after Alsa's death.

Admins feel free to merge with any Locations thread. The location where Blake and Meg have a dirty weekend in Episodes 965 and 968 is a flash hotel called the Park Hyatt in Sydney, located right near the Harbour Bridge near Circular Quay. Location is https://goo.gl/maps/jDB2a944e3bHnjxy7

Do you mean the time when Shane was doing work experience at the police station, he told someone to turn the hose on his neighbour's barking dog (1373)?
-
Thanks Dan.? When the credits start rolling at the end of Episode 958 (March 11, 1992) for example, it says "Home And Away, by Greg Haddrick". What does the "byline" mean at the beginning of the credits?

Who were the Story Editors in the early years of Home And Away? I notice Coral Drouyn wasn't involved with Home And Away until about Episode 3000 or so.

Hey I'm not saying unkind things about Shane Parish (the real Shane Parish, not the female baby called "Shane"). I don't know where you got the idea I was badmouthing him. He was one of the main reasons why I started watching Home And Away in 1992. I watched him go from someone who had a blood feud against Ryan, to being the victim of Tug's cruel setup, before rising through the ranks and getting together with Angel Brooks. He and Tug even made up eventually, and that was when even I found Tug to be a likeable character. Hell, he even tried to help Tug when he crashed Roxy's car. RIP Shane Parish 1976–1996. Much-loved husband of Angel. Father of Dylan.

Who says John is a boy's name? Who says Adam is a boy's name? I could go on all day....... That was Shane alright, using the name "Alex". That was his previous enrolment at Summer Bay High before he re-enrolled the following year.
-
It was a mistake making the baby a girl and also giving it a boy's name
-
Miss Cherry, the disgusting games he played with Rachel (a little girl far too young to be considered his "girlfriend" or to be involved in any sexual games, I mean come on......YUCK). Jesse was a glorified car thief and other criminal, who Selina put up on a pedestal. I also don't like what he did to Shannon when she was having her nightmares and vomiting in Mr Fisher's car.
-
Jesse McGregor, and what a ........ he was Shane was the only "poster boy" I liked. I distinctly remember how the girls drooled all over Jesse, and it was disgusting

Locations question: In the 1991-92 cliffhanger episodes, Adam and Blake asked Josh to drive them to a place called "Rocky Point", a location they said was "100km up the coast" and would take 3 hours (2 hours with Josh's driving?). The credits at the end of Episode 910 thank the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service for their assistance in the production of that episodes. What is the actual location these scenes were filmed at?
