When trying to find out what is going on with The Early Years, bear in mind that, as stated in my recently-closed thread '7TWO Transmission Discussion', it is my belief and understanding that Dan F and the team have done everything they can to enquire with the highest powers at the Seven Network (the Director Of Network Programming, and the Content Rights Manager), and is standing by on a long-term basis for answers and updates, while conceding that we may never know really why the plug was pulled.

Between when she was arrested over Rita's finance company heist and when she was shown in jail with Danni, she was out under another different name, as Marilyn's "aunty Jean" (aunty Joan)

Maybe devices with touchscreens don't recognise hovering mouse cursors. You point your finger at something and it's like clicking something straightaway. What happens if you hold your finger down on the loveheart icon?

There seems to be a proliferation of initials in coloured boxes in avatars. First Google+ platforms, then Apple, now the software that runs the BTTB forum. CaptainHulk has a big "C", KKB now has a big "K", Laudix now has a big "L", and so on.....

You got it in one! Getting rid of David was the best thing she did for the people of Summer Bay, especially Pippa and Michael in particular ................. ........although to be honest, she doesn't deserve a statue for hanging around with that Revhead creature, I grant you that! -

Good. Serves the xxxx right. -
You mean in reference Lance and Martin? Remember when Tom Fletcher said they were as "sharp as a pound of wet leather"? That was when Lance and Marilyn trashed Alf's dinghy and Lance promised in the end to go down to the bank and pay for a new boat

A recipe for domestic violence and broken marriages/families if you ask me. Hating does not belong in dating and mating relationships. This may sound like I am taking that too literally, but it is so obvious even Lance and Martin can work that one out easy.

In Episode 1880, during the montage when Angel and Dylan were scattering Shane's ashes into the ocean, some memories of Shane from past episodes were shown, including Angel's debut appearance at the Frente concert at the Surf Club where she seemingly gets defensive when he asks her about her name, and of course the wedding. Why was the scene of Angel shouting at Shane for barging into the bathroom when she was having a shower, included as one of the memories Angel were having of Shane?

I have found the track that plays in Episode 1877 when Shane is teaching Dylan how to use his new compact camera, to be called: Shake Uwaye La by Swoop. No prizes for guessing about the much, much, much more widely-known Hunters & Collectors track at the end of this episode as Shane passes out. Why wasn't the Swoop track in this episode included in the Sounds Of Summer Bay CD released in 1996/97? Who compiled that CD and why?

Why did Joanne Brennan take her sexual harassment complaint against Mr Fisher to the police instead of the Department Of Education or the Anti-Discrimination Board?
-
Marilyn has made several long-term full-time stints in the long history of Home And Away. There from 1989 till 1992. Gone, to marry Phil. That failed. She came back in 1995, stayed another few years, married Mr Fisher, then that relationship failed as she couldn't handle the death of her baby, and left again, around 1998? I can't remember the other long-term stints, but she came back again a few years ago, still currently on the show. The pattern has been a few years here, a few years away, a few years back, etc.

Remember that loud piece of rap music that was blasting when Alsa came home to catch Karen having it off with "Duggie" on her loungeroom floor in early 1993? The aforementioned track was playing in the Diner in today's episode (1641) when Alf asked Jack about what Curtis was getting up to, finding it hard to believe that he would be studying off his own bat, and that really he is mucking around with Cloe. The scene ends with Duncan having an accident in the kitchen (sound of smashing glass). The song seems to have "Angels" in its lyrics.

Shane's exit was planned many months in advance, they were saying he and Angel were going to leave Summer Bay for a trip around Australia.

Sorry to stray off-topic here for a bit, but..... & I like Jack's sister, Kathy! I think she is cute! ♥ ♥

Yes, that was the Selina I liked Edward Skylover hehehe
-
Beau_T, I swear I really didn't notice the surfer running behind them until Dan F pointed it out in answering my question! And yes I know it was Chloe who walks past Jack and Damian in the 1994 titles, because somebody pointed it out in the 1994 Discussion thread.
-
In the current version of the opening titles, why do Irene and Marilyn each give a funny look? Is it an in-joke by the producers at those 2 girls running on the beach?
-
Very ambiguous throwaway comments. Yes. How convenient. Ambiguous indeed. And we're supposed to be able to make sense of how Christopher "happened" (despite the so-called life-and-death risks they seemed so sure about).
-
Uh-uh. No. Sorry, but these things don't "just happen".
-
Yeah, then in mid-1992 he and Pippa decided to have Dale
-
Is that the same kind of reason why Selina can predict the future, and "feel things" when Elizabeth Clarke dies?
-
Selina gets stung by that bee at the end of Episode 1788, which is due to air on 7TWO on Tuesday, January 3.

Who are these birds in the opening titles? 1. The one that gets groped as the closing credits begin 2. The 2 runners on the beach
