Well I'd hate to have your expectations. They turned the main character into a vampire after spending 3 years trying to keep her alive. It's huge. Probably the biggest finale in the US this year so far. Next Year will be huge storyline wise. I'm dying to see where they are going with this.

There had to be some point where the staff were going to stop doing the departure features, it just happened to be during the time that Tony and Rachel departed, whether it be now or in a few years time. It just happens that it was now. Maybe they should have made an announcement about it, I don't know, but there is nothing and no-one stopping the fans from continuing discussion in the Tony and Rachel discussion thread. Let's just thank Dan and his staff for all the work they do and will continue to do because no-one is making them do it and they aren't getting paid money for it. A little thank you every now and then isn't a hard ask I think.

A while after Annie's departure and Jill's arrival and depature, Romeo has turned into a delightful young character. He's very switched on and has a warm heart. Whilst he probably is meant to 'replace' Aden and Geoff as the hot young male of the show, I believe this idea has backflipped. Romeo is very different and the nature to him is a nice change for the show. The storyline with Jill was amazing and it is such a shame it ended so soon. Indi seems to be his next storyline, I hope it doesn't turn out like it did with Annie and Romeo revolts back to that annoying love-sick puppy.

I'm hoping that they didn't just bring Marilyn back to kill her off. At this stage, Marilyn has confirmed that her cancer has returned and that she only has less than one year to live. Maybe Marilyn gets cured or it turns out she doesn't actually have the cancer because then it would be like Chloe all over again, only this time we have had Marilyn for longer than 1 or 2 episodes for her return.
