  1. I was amused by the comment Tom made a few eps back, about the "film" where a woman pointed out her rapist, her husband killed him, only for the woman to then point out every bloke she saw as her attacker. I've seen it - it's not a film, but it is actually an episode of the 1980s version of the "Alfred Hitchcock Presents..." tv series! Nicely done, I thought!
  2. Yeah, her exit was a bit abrupt. "I'm off!" "Oh, okay!"
  3. I love 80s H&A.
  4. Pure 80s cheese.
  5. God, I hate Jeff Samuels. The guy just gets up my nose so damn much!
  6. "Cheesy" is not the word.
  7. Does anyone know when these eps were shown in the UK originally? I was going to express astonishment at not remembering or having any idea that Bertram came back, but if these eps aired around October/Nov 1989, there'd be a good reason - I was out of the country!
  8. Brett is SO dead.
  9. He certainly gave her a few home truths!
  10. I like Stacey too. I never had a problem with Brett to be honest.
  11. Stacey!
  12. Gordon's last line today had me rolling in the aisles. What a &$%&$!
  13. Was that supposed to be Frank singing or something? Don't give up the day job, dear.
  14. Maybe he did and she just didn't read it out.
  15. Perhaps simply because Alan was her first born...?
  16. I actually have yesterdays ep on tape somewhere from the original UK transmission in 1989! LOL at Frank's reply to Roo's crass boyfriend comment today. "You didn't lose 'em. You chewed them up and spat them out." That, my dear, is what's known as a PWN.
  17. This has been another excellent week, really top-notch stuff. at the new Lynn-less credits, though.
  18. It's not, it's David Palmer!
  19. Bit random for Lynn there. I don't think she even got a scene with Sally, did she?
  20. LYNN! Had no idea Alan was outta it so soon, either...
  21. You missed Bobby and Alan's first incestuous snog, too!
  22. I'm pretty sure I did hear Rebecca's name mentioned. Didn't Alan mention her too? I'm sure she's been namechecked.
  23. The Bobby/Alan stuff manages to be both sweet, funny and a bit creepy! It is interesting that Bobby's having none of it romantically, though. Could simply be because she is still in love with Frank, but it does make you wonder if the writers knew they couldn't go too far in that direction...
  24. To be fair, it was Carly. And she's hardly the show's voice of moral authority.
