Nah, I just think she's great! I mean, I could vaguely remember liking her and being disappointed she left originally, but that was over 20 years ago, so I've been surprised by how good she was! I still think they should have cut Floss and Nev loose instead (esp since they do just that in another 6 months. Waste IMHO) First big mistake for me, I think!

I like Barbara. She was only ever a guest, yes. Yeah, it's very very good at the moment, though I'm dreading Lynn leaving, which I'm guessing is no more than a couple of weeks away at most now.

Saw the alternate Fisher/Celia opening the other day for the first time (Wednesday I think). Fisher peering round where she usually is, only for her to slide up behind him the other way. Made me

Ah, cool, thanks.
-
Is that the last we see of Morag in 88?
-
I always liked Celia. She can be a silly old fusspot but her heart's in the right place.

1988 and 1989 are unbeatable. Erm... Frank flatlined on the operating table, but now seems to be going to be alright. Fisher helped Ailsa track down Bobby, who was all but ready to skip town. Roo told Alf everything, he was unsurprisingly unimpressed and went out, coming back to find Roo has left town - with Morag. At the end Bobby went to see Frank in hospital and told him she loved him (though he was unconscious!) Morag also outwore her welcome with Ailsa, leading to this classic line: Ailsa : "We're two mature women. We should be able to go two days without scratching each others eyes out... but you are pushing your luck, madam."

Yes, I thought the lack of a recap was a bit unusual.

Morag basically looks down on pretty much everyone and everything in Summer Bay, and has a tongue sharper than a knife. Celia is an easy target, no wonder she's sick of her. Mind you, she's positively tame here compared to 1989!
-
God, Morag is GOLD! What a spectacular bitch!

LOL We're kinda meant to find him amusing, aren't we? Was rather weird hearing the theme played as incidental music the other day.

I can remember an awful lot after 20 years, but not all. I had, for instance, completely forgotten Steven's method of getting Samuels off his back!
-
Stevo's takedown of Samuels was almost worth putting up with that obnoxious creep of a character for. What a gutless little prick!
-
On first broadcast, we were divided as to whether it was Samuels or Fisher (and that maybe Pippa had brought Samuels with her for protection upon confronting Fisher). That's how we interpreted it, anyway! Yeah, that was creepy stuff. Amazing how much some things stick in the mind for over two decades, too!
-
I have to laugh at them changing the credits to include Fisher in the opening for the first time, on the exact same ep where they end trying to imply he may be the Nutter. They couldn't have waited 2 episodes!?!?!?
-
I don't understand why you'd want to spoil it for yourself if you haven't seen it before in the first place, esp when the reveal is only a couple of weeks away!
-
Yes it is. Beyond that I'm not telling.
-
It wasn't just yesterday; his entire attitude and personality gets right on my tits. Gruesome death soon, please.
-
God, I really can't stand Samuels. Such a mouthy macho p***k. Probably wears women's underwear when no one's looking.
-
Didn't she tell Frank he was her first when she first slept with him?
-
Really? No, I didn't notice! Beth Buchanan looks so different than she did as Gemma.
-
Coral, I believe. The actress who played her was also Madge's mum in Neighbours, rather amusingly!
-
John Clayton. He was very good in E Street, too, as the bitter country copper who ended up shooting serial killer Steven Richardson.
-
Nah, they were going to, but they were interrupted. Today's was a bit weak after a run of great episodes. Samuels is a jerk, though. I don't know about Steven being expelled, that guy would be out on his ass and probably up on child abuse charges nowadays for that kind of behaviour.
