I find this name changing very annoying! You get to know posters and stuff and start to recognise them by their name, and by changing it it's hard to remember and work out who is who. Even some posters who say in their sig who they previously were, it still doesn't help when you read a post and look at the username and just think it's a newbie or something. Maybe it's just me, but I find it very confusing. Rant over.

haha! I got that title like probably a year and a half ago when they let you do that. I think it was if you reached a certain number of posts or something you alter your title thing like that. But I don't think you can do it anymore. I remember asking once if I could change it and they said that you can't edit them anymore so I'm stuck with my current title! lol.

Something like television ratings however are simply complete estimate's tested from only a few hundred houses in each state. I think THAT is an unreliable source, not the ARIA charts.

No. Gold and Platinum status of CDs are based on what's sent to stores, but the actual chart rankings are based on actual sales. This is from the ARIA website: They even talked to someone from ARIA on Sunrise about a year ago and he confirmed this. There are even lists of every single store in every single state of the country where CDs purchased there count directly towards the rankings on ARIA charts, which are pretty much all the big stores.

That is not true. The ARIA charts are based on actual sales of CDs by customers, calculated when scanned through the barcode when bought by customers. There are pages about it on the ARIA website.

Everyone says they are sick of the crazy frog, but he still keeps topping the charts!

lol! The Crazy Frog this week has his 3rd Top 10 hit in Australia. Both 'Axelf F' and 'Popcorn' did well, and his recent song 'Jingle Bells' is no different coming in at #6 on the Australian charts this week. How funny!
