Can someone help me with Miles? Is he a foster carer or something? Why do Nicole and Romeo live with him? Or is like another Irene and takes in waifs and strays of the (mostly) teenage variety?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how Miles broke his ankle. I know it's been on screen for a while, but I must have missed the episode where he breaks it. Been driving me barmy for ages now!
