Squee!!! I ADORED this fic, and I'm so proud that someone is brave enough to tackle such an interesting pairing. I'm loving it so far, you're really developing the characters and the scene, and I can't wait to see where its gone. As for the comment about the vomit worthy pairing, made above, I believe she actually asked for an open mind about the couple, so perhaps you could respect the authors wishes and either keep your comments to yourself, or make them constructive... simply because they don't go with your favourite pairing doesn't mean they should not be given a chance!

That was so sweet Jackie. I love how with it Mattie seemed when she wanted to find Henry. Sometimes, I think everyone else assumes shes so fragile, but in the end shes really the strong one... yay for twin bonding, I love those moments, but I'm glad she almost, put him in his place at the end too. He needs to know that! I can't wait for more!

Aww you know I loved it, but you wanted criticism, and I picked this up in your own review of your story! Where was Alf girl? I know technically he wouldn't fit the mould, but she and him and like this *crosses fingers* so I think there maybe could have been room for him at the table too! Also, Ric and Cassie? Her own foster children are missing from her (symbolically) last supper...? I swear, you could write a sequal with just their goodbyes! And maybe it was just a bit of a couple overload... but I get freaked out with the idea of that many couples in a room (but thats just me) Now, on with the good stuff. I loved the descriptions, the language you used, the images you created for us. I felt Sally calling out to someone (Milko) and that she just couldnt reach them, that she really was lost, an outsider in her own life. And I loved that you created such deep emotions so successfully, with such a small word count. It really was so beautifully written Kat, but then again, when you write, what isn't?

Jackie that was so sweet, and so sad, and I have to ask, why was it Martha that got her down? Do you have some kind of bigger purpose for her... or was she just thrown in? I dunno, that seemed kind of random. Running into Lukes arms was very sweet though. Hopefully together they'll be able to work through this together! Can't wait for more!

Ohhh finally got around to reading the chapter, but I think I'm echoing everyone elses thoughts when I say poor Mattie, she just can't get it all working at the same time can she? I love the angst of this story Jackie, its got this lovely balance that makes it so great to read. I can't wait for more!

Poor Henry. The kid just wanted what was best for his twin sis. I can sympathise with that! That was so sweet Jackie, and so well written. I loved the song that you used to, it fitted the situation perfectly. I can't wait for more!

Aww Jackie, that was so sad. Poor everyone, they just can't catch a break can they? I can't wait to see how you deal with this, its such a huge part of their lives already, it should be sad (but awesome) As always, can't wait for more!

I have one question before I rave about how awesome and angsty that was... Why is it so easy to make Henry the bad guy? I mean, is it just because we didn't get his characters personality at all so we turn him into the guy who does things wrong? I dunno, just a thought I'm pondering. I loved it Jackie. It was intense and anger filled and its wrong of my to say that I loved it, when I'm just screaming for Maddie to be okay, but drama wise, I loved it. I can't wait for more, it was an evil (yet awesome) cliffhanger there, and I'm sitting on the edge of my seat wondering where you're going to take this story!

That was so sweet Jackie, yet sad too. Maddie and Cassie were so cute, just as best friends should be, and Ric threatening Luke was a very good touch to the story. They really are awesome together as friends. But ohhh Henry doesn't sound happy at all. But thats okay, because Angry Henry = HOT! LoL. I can't wait for more, whether it be drama or fluff!

The highly anticipated sequel to That Endless Summer and... a story thats basically going to set up all ships for any future stories. So there won't be a lack of Jess's writing for you to enjoy! Thanks guys I'm really glad you liked it. Its been rather hard to continue writing Maddie like this, when all I really wanted to do was go back to the quirkiness of she and Cassie in That Endless Summer! But when it comes down to it, I love a challenge, and this fic has been really challenging. More soon... and just so everyone knows, its coming to a close... there are only 14 chapters in this fic.. but there shall be another one to soothe the pain of loss! LoL

Awwww I just caught up! Its soooo adorable Maddie and Ric are the cutest of cute as parentals. And I'd love to read a wedding chapter... or even something in the future, about Willow when shes a bit older? I loved the story Ali, it was amazing from beginning to end! Kase, that was breathtaking. Seriously, it was emotionally so stunning, so full off feeling, so full of everything that needed to be there. I felt Maddies pain, Lukes pain, felt their suffering and then their almost there forgiveness. And at the end, his hope and her fear. I didn't even want Henry and Belle in that one, because I was so darn captivated by Maddie and Luke. I cannot wait for more, but do your work and then write some for us. I can feel an ambiguous ending coming, and I love those

Oh Kase, that was so tragically beautiful! Maddie and Henry was touching, so very touching, I just knew that when he reached out she'd take his hand. But Maddie and Luke are still pretending, and falling apart at the seams... and Belle... god Belle, admit it! Shes so damn stubborn! Your story just keeps drawing me in, deeper and deeper. I love the how you write them pretending not to care, and how you underlay it with the more important issues that they can't seem to deal with. I cannot wait for more, this truly is an amazing story!
