Awk that was just lovely, I'm so glad everything is working out for them I loved the bit where Angelo was so uncertain about their sleeping arrangements and Charlie said she was moving in as his wife, not a lodger, thought that was lovely, oh and the bit at the end, I liked that I also liked the way you started it, nice wee scene, and I loved Angelo calling Ruby his daughter, and holding Callum, that was lovely wee moment. I'm glad Morag wasn't too bad about the whole thing, and I hope Angelo does prove her wrong, he really seems like he doesn't want to hurt Charlie again, maybe he should just stay away from alcohol and he'll be ok! LOL at the peanut butter and chocolate spread I loved how she did the whole crying thing to get it, good one! Brilliant chapter Danni, it's so nice to see things going well for them for a change, can't wait for more!

Aw Danni that was beautiful! Such a lovely chapter. I hope that's the last we see of Shelly, she's such a cow and I can't believe she's still hung up over Grant! I hope it doesn't bring everything back for Charlie, but she has Angelo so it's ok I thought it was funny when Charlie was just ready to storm in and probably slap her, but Angelo tried to calm her down I'm glad Ruby gave Morag a bit of a talking to cos she needed it, the last thing Charlie and Angelo need is Morag making things difficult for them, but Colleen keeping a secret, shock horror! I thought it was really sweet when Ava called herself Auntie Ava, cute! Beautiful chapter, keep up the good work!

Ah cliffhanger what happens next! I thought that was a really good place to leave it cos there's been such a build up to this moment, but I really want to know what happens! I loved Rachel's "that was nice" to all the stuff Tony said he and Xavier did to Harry, that made me laugh I wonder what stage she'll arrive back at? Cos I would say that Rachel knowing she was pregnant will sort of get pushed to the side of Charlie's mind after Angelo's revelation, go Angelo!! That bit with Charlie and Ruby where Ruby said she would be with her when they told people, especially Colleen, and that she would be with her until the end, that was so beautiful and moving, well written! Well I liked it I liked the bit where Charlie said she wouldn't give up without a fight, she's a true soldier! I thought you wrote the bit with Rachel really well, the way she handled it, the way she wasn't sure if it was Charlie's x-ray and when Charlie confirmed that it was she didn't persist and ask more. I'm glad Charlie said to Rachel about the crack before Rachel had to ask, such an awkward conversation for both of them to be having. Morag she is some woman! That bit really made me laugh, only Morag could pull it off! I hope Xavier does ask Ruby out, although I'm not sure that she's ready to let someone in right now. It's lovely how he knows that something's up, even though the others don't. Update soon!

Oh no, I've missed 2 of your updates aswell!! Chapter 47 - Poor Morag, I hope she's ok. And I thought it was kind of funny, Charlie trying to get Rachel to tell her what's going on. I thought it was lovely the way Charlie came to see Angelo at work, pity it wasn't for a nicer reason. I hope they do get a paternity test and it turns out negative. I'm glad Charlie suggested a wee night with Ava, and poor Angelo wanting to meet somewhere else, he can't even see his wife in the house she lives in! Oh no, I hope Jay isn't in too much trouble, I hope it's not a loan shark or anything Chapter 48 - Angelo's still scared of Morag although I would be too! And the changelo moment I wonder what would have happened if they weren't interrupted? I can't believe Shelly Angelo or Charlie could have seen her, she wasn't exactly keeping a low profile, and all that trouble she's caused Ooh I can't wait to read what happens next! No, I can't believe I've missed 2 updates, school has only started back and I'm getting behind already!! Chapter 63 - I thought it was funny how Alf was raging one minute and shaking Roman's hand the next I loved the wee scene with Irene and Charlie, we never get to see much of them together. I love how people have picked up on Angelo's feelings for Charlie, and now Irene has picked up on Charlie's feelings for Angelo Chapter 64 - No, you can't kill Charlie!! Angelo would be heartbroken!! Aw the scene with Ross and Angelo, I love how Ross gave Angelo his blessing, I'm sure it means a lot, although if Charlie is dead it won't be much use I really hope that's just her away for her operation. Update soon!

Robert Young no wonder Roman punched him, and he was sorry for it but Irene's reply just made me laugh It's good that someone will take a stand against it all, and Roman did warn him to stay away. I can't believe he wants to take advantage of what happened to Charlie and Angelo to make more money. I love how Angelo was there to help Charlie again and how Ruby and Ross are giving her the encouragement she needs to keep going with her rehab so that one day she can get rid of her brace. You've been busy! I was on my duke of edinburgh this weekend, so I'm just getting caught up. Chapter 59 - Wow, loved this. I think it was good that Ruby got away for a bit to clear her head although it must have been hard for them to see the boat, I hope that doesn't set them all back a bit. But I'm wondering what Nicole saw? I'm glad Morag and Ross have faith in Angelo to help Charlie. I LOVED the scene in the hospital room I love how she lets him in on what she's really feeling, and how she allows him to comfort her, and I loved how in turn, Angelo shared his fear with her that she was dead. I just loved all of this, brilliant!! Chapter 60 - Wow I didn't think that's what Nicole had seen, so well done! I'm glad Roman and Nicole had that wee chat, it's good that she's up-to-date with everything. And it's good that Irene reassured Xavier that they'd done the right thing in taking Ruby away from the hospital. I LOVED the wee bit in italics, I'm convinved it's Angelo, and what Charlie said to him you wrote it so well. I love how she placed her hand on her leg and then on her tummy, and the other one on Angelo's hand. This has got to be one of my favourite moments in your fiction so far!! Amazing! Chapter 61 - I love how Angelo is so happy now, cos he wants to be with her but he was afraid it would only be until she got out of hospital. And Morag's "we're not arguing, we're talking passionately" typical Morag! I love how Ruby is so concerned about Charlie, and although she is glad to get away from the hospital she can't stop thinking about Charlie lying there. And I love how Morag is looking out for everyone, she is able to comfort Ross and calm him down which is good. I love how everyone else noticed Angelo looking so happy and cheery, but he won't tell as if they can't guess! I love your fiction, it just keeps getting better and better!

Whoops I've missed two updates while I've been away... Chapter 45 - BRILLIANT!! Loved this one. I like how Morag cares so much about Charlie, but I wish she'd give Angelo a chance, it's not good for Charlie to be stressed! Poor Angelo, I feel sorry for him in this scene, no wonder he didn't speak! I really liked their wee chat and the friendly banter too. I love how he is so interested in the baby, and their little moment and the flutter I love how he told Charlie about meeting Shelly before Shelly got to her cos it avoided another whole fight. Ugh Shelly, is she ever going to give up? And now Colleen knows...well...I wouldn't count on it being kept a secret, but I wish she would! Chapter 46 - Shelly!! I can't believe she was going to tell Ava! I'm glad Charlie stopped that. Ava calling Shelly stupid made me laugh It's a pity Angelo was working, but then again if he was there things might have gotten out of control, so maybe it's best he wasn't. I loved seeing the little morning routine with Charlie and the kids, I see she's still on the peanut butter . I hope Morag's ok, Rachel closely behind her? Great updates Danni!

I liked how you did the wee surfing bit, I'm not an expert so I really can't find fault! You have to laugh at Ava and the way they're all teasing her, and waiting until she's 21 I'm glad that Charlie and Angelo are going to talk, I think they need to talk about things before they can spend time together with the kids and answer their questions which I'm sure they'll have. It's good that Ruby has Jay to talk to...and the kiss I'm glad she's so happy! Great update Danni

Brilliant Danni! I loved the wee mother and daughter chat with Charlie and Ruby about how Angelo loved Ruby as if she was his own daughter, even though she reminded him of Charlie having beeen raped, I thought that was just lovely. It's typical of Angelo, how can Morag be so cruel! He knows he did wrong, he has apologised and I don't think he could be any more remorseful, I'm glad Charlie stuck up for him. I loved seeing her slowly come round to the idea of taking him back Ava and Ben are so cute, it was funny that she wouldn't talk to Charlie but then came running when High School Musical was put on I hope Charlie meant the "I'm still going to live with daddy" bit. Loved this!! Update soon please!

Oh that was beautiful, I really hope Angelo can help Charlie, they haven't had a chance to properly talk alone and he probably wants to know how she's feeling cos it's obvious he wants to help. Just like a true boyfriend I hope that seeing her friends makes Ruby cope better, it'll give her a chance to get away from it all and could be good for them too. I loved the ending with Ross and Morag talking about Angelo, maybe he'll be the next Buckton to realise that Angelo loves her? Great update as usual

Haha I love your choice of word! Lovely update. Mr Looms doesn't sound very nice I think it's good that the teens want to go and see Charlie and Ruby, but I'm glad they won't fall behind with their work, and it would have been easy for Gina to say no with Mr Looms there watching. I loved the bit with Angelo on the crutches, trying to help Charlie, aww and the finish with Ruby was lovely, you can see how much it means to Charlie to have her there. I'm looking forward to seeing how Charlie reacts to what Leah has to tell her. Great!

I hope long is good! Cos sometimes I get carried away! But that's a good thing cos it means it was an amazing chapter! Yayy Charlie got good news and I love how it was so emotional. I loved Angelo's thoughts, that he wanted to be with her to the end of their lives The bit with Leah, Roman and VJ was funny them pretending they were watching him, he's a smart kid! It's good that he's ok with Leah and Roman, now just to sort things out with Charlie. I hope it works out for them. Aww Xavier missing Ruby like a love-sick puppy . I hope Charlie gets the encouragement she needs to try and master using crutches, she's come too far to let something like this stand in her way of recovery, and she has great support around her, they'll all be there every step of the way. Shelly She is such a cow, I can't believe the way she speaks to Charlie, like she is dirt. I'm glad Angelo stopped Charlie slapping Shelly, cos I'm sure it would have turned into a bit more. I loved the bit when Angelo said he was happy his wife was having his baby, I wish Charlie had smiled back, but I'm sure it was such a shock to find out Shelly was pregnant. I'm really glad that Angelo told Charlie about sleeping with Shelly at the time, cos I don't know that she would have forgiven him if he hadn't told her. And I liked how Angelo told Shelly to get lost and that he wouldn't care if he never saw her again. It must have been a bit hard to say, cos if she is indeed pregnant (and I am still secretly hoping that she isn't ) then it's his child, a part of him, and it just shows how much he loves his family that he's willing not to see his child to keep his own family together. And he refers to it as Shelly's baby, he hasn't even acknowledged it as his own. I'm glad Angelo had the wit to walk away from Shelly in the bar this time, cos his stupid mistake last time may just have cost him everything I thought the bit with Ava and Ben was so cute , trying to get into the bedroom, trying to get to the mobile, and then trying to ring Ruby, how sweet. And I loved Ruby calling Angelo dad . I better stop now and I must try to use paragraphs in the future!! But anyway I loved this chapter, in a really wierd way cos I hate seeing their relationship destroyed. You wrote it brilliantly, update soon!!

Hey, I was away there for a few days so I'm just catching up. Chapter 49 - Really liked that bit at the start. And how Angelo knew something was up with the teens, and giving Nicole a hug. I loved the wee Charlie and Ruby chat, although Ruby can't talk to anyone else I'm glad she still feels she can talk to Charlie, although I wish she would talk to someone who could help her with her bad dreams. I'm glad the teens feel better now, after seeing that Charlie is ok. Chapter 50 - It was lovely of Romeo to stick up for Nicole, the last thing she needs right now is to be hassled. I'm glad though that everyone saw the article and understands now, and it's not like the teens were going around telling everyone, using it as an excuse for things. I love how everyone is there for Charlie, and the bit where Angelo said "but she didn't say no to me" was brilliant and he managed to calm her down, and her metallic leg doesn't seem to bother him Chapter 51 - You're not taking too long, it was a serious accident and Charlie is healing in realistic time, not in tv time. I loved how Ruby stood in front of the bars, and the fact that she and the others were there gave Charlie the encouragement and determination to keep going and try and work through the pain. You wrote this brilliantly, I could feel the pain throughout it, and how hard it was to move her legs. Chapter 52 - I love how when everyone else goes home, Angelo is still there VJ is so sweet, wanting to see Charlie, and I love how he had a wee surprise for her. I thought it was lovely Morag wanting to get Charlie some proper food, and I really hope that they will have a closer relationship now. And I liked the wee chat between Nicole and Roman. Chapter 53 - Aw VJ is sooo sweet!! The soup analogy was funny, especially the reactions it got from the others. And the photo thing was such a lovely idea, I'm sure Charlie will treasure it, I loved seeing her reactions to all of the photos. I love how Ruby hugged Angelo when she arrived, and yayy, she knows Angelo loves Charlie. I'm glad that Ruby still wants to live with Charlie Chapter 54 - I love how you did both Charlie and Ruby's reactions to "we're ok Charlie", we got a real insight into some of Ruby's worries about what others would think and what Charlie wants to be called, and if saying Dad will remind Charlie of being raped. The bit with Angelo arguing with himself over whether Charlie loved him or not was funny. I loved all of his recollections about things that had happened between them, the "undies" one was really funny, and I loved how after the warehouse incident he just held Charlie. Nice wee finish with Roman and Nicole, I wonder if he is going to say something, and to whom?? Loved this chapter. Chapter 55 - Awk poor Angelo waiting to go into the hospital and then getting called away. I loved how he took one last look at the hospital though. Leah is so lovely, I think it will be good to have Charlie in familiar surroundings, and I'm sure she'll be happy wherever she is as long as Ruby is there with her. And I'm glad Ross and Morag were ok with it. I'm so glad Angelo was able to identify the woman who pushed the boat onto Charlie, and I liked the wee scene with Georgiana, and the really big present!! Loved how they couldn't see Angelo behind the card! Chapter 56 - Loved Roman's methods of stalling, brilliant! And Charlie is improving so much, I would say knowing that the person has been found gave her that extra little push. I'm glad Roman doesn't want to be with Charlie, and I hope he can make Leah happy. I wonder what has happened Charlie's readings?? Update soon!

Chapter 39 - I loved how it went so well, all the banter and the fact that there weren't many awkward moments, although the dessert one did make me laugh And he's so thoughtful with the non-alcoholic champagne and the fact that he didn't drink. And their wedding meal, aww I loved their little chat about how much of a blessing the kids were, and Angelo's concerns about his relationship with their unborn baby, and also Ava, and how Charlie tried to reassure him that everything will be ok. And the necklace, it sounds beautiful! I love how he had all of this planned so far in advance. The kiss...whoops but the awkward bit didn't seem to last too long. Brilliant chapter Danni! Chapter 40 - Wow, so beautiful. I loved this chapter sooo much, it's like how they used to be. I love how they both want to try and make their marriage work, how they both said I love you, and the way Angelo referred to Ruby as his daughter and Callum as his grandson. I love how Ben was so excited to see them and he ran to Angelo, how sweet! It was lovely how Ava was so happy to see that they were all going to live together again. Loved the ending, it's all so happy now! Chapter 41 - No! Just as things were getting good again, I have to admit the pregnancy thing did cross my mind at the time but I really hoped it wouldn't happen, I hope she's lying. I hate the way Shelly treated Charlie, but I love how Angelo rejected her and went to the other side of the room, I can see she's out to cause trouble. But I love how Charlie didn't slap her, cos I'm sure it was more than tempting. You wrote it really well, I could just hear Shelly saying all that. I wish Ruby was a bit more positive about Charlie and Angelo getting back together...but it'll be hard with all this. Maybe Ruby will slap her again Update soon!

Two lovely updates Cally Part 1 - I loved Ross and Ruby's wee chat, how Ruby was really happy to know she had always looked and acted like Charlie, right down to her mannerisms, and when Ruby said that Ross was still her Dad, aww. And I like the way Morag and Angelo's relationship has improved so much, she can see right through him and at least he knows how much it means to all of them to have him there. I think it's really good that Xavier, Nicole and Romeo are talking about what they saw, and are trying to help each other through it, and talking to the adults really seemed to help clarify things. Charlie has so much support around her, I love how it finished with them all waiting for her to wake up to make sure she was ok Part 2 - Poor Nicole, it looks like she's really suffering cos of Roman, it's really good that she has Romeo and Xavier to try and help her work through things, it's awful that she feels she can't get advice from her dad. I love how Ruby slept while holding Charlie's hand, I don't know how Charlie would get through this if Ruby hadn't come round about Charlie being her mum, it's so good that Charlie knows she is there for her. I love Angelo's determination, he's been off work, and the first thing he will do when he goes back is get stuck into the case I'm looking forward to see how Romeo, Nicole and Xavier being at the hospital plays out, I'm glad that Ross and Morag have assured them it was ok to come, hopefully that will ease the tension a bit. Looking forward to the next chapter

Great update Danni as usual How lovely is Angelo, sending his food back for Charlie, buying herbal teas and different kinds of peanut butter, even offering to stay at home and look after the baby! But you can just tell how much he loves her I'm glad they've made it through another bit of the weekend without a fight, and I hope that he is slowly earning Charlie's trust back, I hope she can see how much he regrets his mistake. I loved their friendly banter and how Angelo's so convinced it's going to be a boy so he just dismisses girls' names I can't wait to see what he has planned for dinner, I'm so glad Charlie is going to go along with it, I hope it's something really romantic I thought it was funny when Ben and Ava were quizzing Jay about his family, he was really nice answering all of their questions! And I like how he doesn't seem to have a problem with Callum...but the phone call...I can't help but think something's up Can't wait for more!!

Great chapter and yes, it works! I love how concerned Ruby is for Charlie, and how she let Ross comfort her. It's really good to see how everyone is coping after the accident, I liked the layout of the chapter. I'm glad Nicole told Roman how she is feeling as he will want to make an effort to try and help her. I loved the wee Miles and Marilyn bit...leopard slippers, totally Marilyn You wrote the Colleen bit really well, her actions were so typically Colleen And I'm glad Leah talked to Rachel about it. Wow Danni, such a beautiful chapter! This has got to be one of my favourites I loved the way Angelo would go to the supermarket at 4am just to get Charlie some peanut butter, both types! Loved the naughty step bit, and cheeky Ava asking Jay how long he'd have to spend there And Ava was so sweet asking why Charlie went away with Angelo if she didn't love him. I loved how Angelo told Charlie that she was so beautiful despite her burns Although I wish she could have got the word husband out. They're making a lot of progress this weekend so far and Charlie has started to think about the baby and what it will be like I LOVED this chapter so much!!!

I'm glad Roman has realised how lucky he is to have Nicole, he needs to appreciate her more! I liked the wee Morag and Angelo bit and how she said he'd grown on her Aww the Charlie/Ruby scene you wrote it so beautifully!! Well done
