Wow such a beautiful chapter. I love how Ruby called her doll Charlie love, and she didn't want to rip the paper, how sweet! That was a lovely moment between them, and you wrote it so well It's lovely that Ruby still has Charlie love, hopefully the doll will be a comfort to her. I liked te sleep fairy, and VJ acting all innocent pretending he didn't know what was going on. I'm glad Leah and Roman got to talk and sort some things out, and it's lovely that she's going to be there for him. Poor Moarg, I wish she would open up to someone, and Angelo keeps giving her the opportunity. Update soon!

Poor Ruby, she should be able to talk to Nicole about this, it's so nice that she's thinking about Charlie and Ross and how they would feel if everyone found out. I love how Morag is always looking out for Ross, doing things to make it easier for him, she is so caring and it's bound to be hard for her to come to terms with aswell. I'm glad Roman got his job back, and that he is going to talk to Leah, I hope she listens to what he has to say and they can work through things cos they'll have to work together whatever happens. Really enjoyed that poor Angelo, stupid Roman shouldn't have gotten away with it so easily! It's nice to see Ruby still calling Ross Dad, I loved their wee conversation and Ruby knows how much he cares about her so it's good that she's telling him what she's thinking. I hope Morag can talk to Charlie in a way that will help both of them deal with their past and the choices that they had to make as Morag is still suffering in silence. I hope that Ruby gets things sorted out so that she can talk more with Charlie. Great writing as usual!

Brilliant! I thought it was funny when Charlie mentioned Martha and now Ruby knows there is something, I wonder if she'll drag it out of her? I loved Charlie's reaction when she saw the double bed and the "just stay on your side" comment Oh my goodness Angelo and Martha!! I didn't see that one coming. And Charlie said that one day she'll move in to Angelo's place and she wants to get back together with him I hope the rest of the weekend goes as well! Loved this chapter!

Wow, I can't believe Charlie forgave Roman so easily! But at least they got things out in the open, and they both realise that they aren't meant to be together. But he still shouldn't have punched Angelo . I don't think Ross will want to see him back at the hospital in a hurry!! I loved the awkwardness when Charlie asked Ruby what had happened, it was strange to walk out of the room and see Angelo lying on the floor I'm sure! It certainly took the focus away from Charlie and Ruby, and no-one has asked Ruby any questions yet. Update soon!

Great update, I thought the bit at the start with Callum was cute, and funny! I think it's great that Angelo and Jack are still trying to find out who ran Xavier over, Angelo loves Ruby like she's his own daughter, it's lovely that he won't give up looking. I'm glad they had that chat, and Martha has reassured Charlie about everything and at least Charlie knows she can confide in Martha. I like how Jay's being sensitive with Ruby, and respecting that she doesn't want to rush things, but at the same time the company could be good for her. Poor Charlie, I really hope she talks things through with Angelo and they work something out to say to the kids. Update soon!

Another great update as usual Cally! Poor Charlie's in so much pain, you write that so well, I feel in pain myself when I read it! Loved your bit about matchsticks, that made me laugh I love Angelo's determination, the fact that he can't rest until he knows they are both ok says a lot about how much he cares for him, and Morag has certainly seen that I loved the scene with Angelo and Morag, he is just so lovely! I'm so glad he told her he would listen, he's the only person who's seen how much this is all affecting her, and she needed that hug so badly. It was good that Nicole came with Roman to the hospital to help him to make the first step through the doors, but he hasn't done anything to help their relationship. He punched Angelo I really hate him right now how could he??? I thought he was trying to repair his relationship with Charlie! I don't think he's going to get forgiveness when she finds out what he did to Angelo. Poor Angelo has been there for them all this time, he's worn himself out and Roman has been busy getting drunk. I'm glad Roman gave him a bit of a talking to. I hope Angelo is ok... I can't wait for your next update!! xo

Wow, awesome update Cally, and your writing has improved so much I loved this chapter, and the embracing bit, wow I also loved your other wee bits in italics, very different but in a good way! I'm glad Roman is going to try and sort out his relationships, Nicole is good at giving him reality checks, and she's the one person who he actually seems to listen to. I hope Irene gives him his job back so he can make a fresh start, at least he has Colleen on his side! Poor Ross, he has to stand outside the room not knowing what is going on, feeling so helpless! And Angelo's still there! I'm sure they all appreciate it though. I'm glad Leah got to offload to Irene, she needs someone to talk to right now cos she's so confused, and she can't exactly talk to Charlie about it. That ending was simply beautiful! I'm running out of words to describe your fiction, I need to read a dictionary! And Ruby's going to be with her until the end, aww! I'm so glad they're ok! Aw that was a beautiful chapter and the ending was just perfect, she used all of her strength to stand up to comfort Ruby. I think the diaries were a really good way for Ruby to see how much Charlie struggled with having to let her go, and not hearing Ruby calling her mum, cos she mightn't have believed it if Charlie had just told her. It must have been really hard for Charlie to say and for Ruby to hear that if Ruby hadn't been sick Charlie would have tried to be a mother to her Poor Charlie, her reaction to the word rape, it must have brought it all back to her, this is the conversation she always dreaded and looked forward to but the waiting time couldn't have prepared her for it. Well done, the emotions were perfect

Wow, brilliant updates Danni! Chapter 30 - You wrote the diner scene really well, I loved how Angelo was just sitting there having breakfast and the next minute he was running out of the diner to go to the abortion clinic. I liked the way you wrote about what Angelo was thinking on the way to the clinic, as I was reading this I was thinking please don't have an abortion cos you couldn't really blame Angelo if he didn't forgive her for killing his baby just because she had only been keeping it for him. I liked the way we got to see part of his reaction before Charlie told him she had kept the baby. I'm glad they had the wee chat, I wish Charlie would go away with him and sort things out, maybe if they went away for their anniversary it would make them remember their wedding and all that they've been through since then. Yayy he's going to the scan! I'm glad that even though she says she hates him she isn't shutting him out of their baby's life. You wrote it perfectly. Chapter 31 - I love the way Angelo brought the kids to see the houses before he made a decision, hopefully they'll be spending a lot of time there with him. I loved their little father/daughter scene, Angelo ruffling her hair and getting told off for it, and Ava being happy that he knew her favourite colour and high school musical doll. It must have been so hard for Angelo to try and explain things to the kids without upsetting them too much. I hope his promise comes true! He sort of dug himself a hole there! I loved Charlie and Ruby's chat about Jay and Angelo, they both gave good advice. And poor Irene, she came at the wrong time! Oh I hope Charlie's ok Chapter 32 - "Morag smiled" she is so calm! I wish Charlie had been a little happier to see Angelo, she wanted him gone from the moment he arrived. I'm glad Ruby left them alone to have a wee chat, I thought it was lovely when Angelo said that he thinks of Ruby as his own daughter and would love it if she came to stay with them. Silly Rachel, bad timing! Although she may have stopped an argument! I love how Rachel was able to share her experiences with Charlie and made Charlie realise just how much Angelo loved her and all that he had done for her I loved the way you wrote that bit, the emotions were perfect. I really hope Charlie talks to Angelo about everything. Chapter 33 - Poor Ava, she's so affected by all of this I thought Martha handled it really well. Angelo shouldn't have spoiled the kids, but he kind of redeemed himself by getting the tea, I thought we were going to see another argument! But at the same time they're his kids too so he should be able to spoil them if he wants to! And just as things are looking like they might sort some things out...the promise comes back on him...whoops! Poor Angelo, you'd think he wasn't their dad, Charlie doesn't seem to like his parenting techniques. Chapter 34 - I loved Ava's little plan so cute and it got Charlie and Angelo in the same room, that made me laugh! Silly Angelo got taken in by her plan, but I'm sure he wasn't complaining! I'm sure Charlie enjoyed sleeping in Angelo's bed and he was lovely, sleeping on the couch. I really really loved the wee scene with them in the kitchen, and the way the two of them worked together to get Ben ready for bed again. It was lovely when Charlie said that she'd go away with Angelo after all, Ava's plan worked in a way! And I'm feeling hopefull for their marriage too! Keep up the great work!

Another great chapter, I liked how you told the story of how Angelo first met Charlie and how his feelings developed. I love how he has stood by Charlie through the last few weeks when many would have run away. Morag is really good at calming Ross down, but she has only found out about it all herself, I hope it doesn't get too much for her. I thought it was lovely when Ross hugged Angelo and then he thanked him for being there for "my girls", I thought that was lovely it's the way he would have referred to them before all of this happened and I'm glad nothing has changed in that respect. Wow you've written loads!! Chapter 28 - Roman got fired!! And him storming out of the diner isn't going to help him get his job back when he calms down. I'm glad Ross opened up to Morag, she needs to know everything that went on and she can be there to support him. I thought it was lovely the way Morag and Ross both cried, it shows how much she cares for all of them that it has affected her so much. And Angelo is so good with Ruby, he's an outsider of the family so that she feels she can talk to him, but he's not a stranger, it's good that he's there for her, I'm sure Charlie would really appreciate it. Trust Leah to spend her time worrying about Roman...I hope he's ok but I hope he's nowhere near Charlie in the hospital. Ruby went to see Charlie...yayy!! Chapter 29 - Poor Nicole, so worried about Roman, but he should have thought of her when he went out and got drunk every night. Miles/Mr Copeland, that made me laugh! I love how Charlie was honest with Ruby about the birth certificate, but if she can't find it it's not her fault, Ruby should have stayed and listened to Charlie instead of storming out. Those diary entries were so beautiful and emotional. I love the way the baby kicking was so special, and why she called it Ruby, and you could see how much she loved her. Beautiful. Chapter 30 - I love how Miles is so comforting to Nicole, he's like a father figure. Roman was really mean to her, of course she can help him, he pushes her away he has no-one...well maybe Leah but that's it. Aw Angelo brought Charlie flowers. I loved their wee chat, and Ruby should definetely hear the truth from Charlie. I loved the way Ruby let Ross comfort her, I'm glad she's not rejecting him. And a wee chat between Morag and Charlie might do both of them the world of good. Chapter 31 - I love the way you wrote in thoughts from everyone's perspective, I love the way you included a wee one from VJ. And you finished it with Angelo saying he loved her, simply perfect I loved the diary entries, they are so powerful and filled with emotion, it must have been so painful for Charlie to re-read them, she wanted to be a mother to Ruby so badly I can't believe the birth certificate fell out!! Chapter 32 - Oh flip I completely forgot Morag was still there!! Aw Morag comforted Charlie, that was lovely! I'm glad that Roman wants to make things right with Nicole, he owes her an apology. I think Miles arrived at a really good time for Nicole. I loved the way you wrote about what everyone woke up to, I am loving the variety! I'm so glad Ruby is getting to read the diaries, maybe she will see things from Charlie's perspective, the hurt and the pain she felt when Ruby was brought up as her sister. Chapter 32 - I'm glad that Nicole could talk to Leah, although I don't like Roman she deserves a good relationship with her dad. I hope Roman doesn't decide to make Angelo pay, nothing is Angelo's fault, he's been there for Charlie all along! Aw at Ruby reading those diary entries, I thought the last one was particularly moving. And just as I was looking forward to seeing what Ruby was going to do when she came closer to Charlie, Tish walks in Chapter 33 - I thought the wee scene with Leah and Nicole was lovely, and so was the one with Irene and VJ, and she walked him right in, how nice. Aw, Angelo getting Charlie some doughnuts. And what Ross said to Morag was really lovely. Charlie and Ruby both seemed really pleased to see Angelo there, and I loved the way he teased them saying she was only getting the doughnuts afterwards! I really hope Charlie's ok Chapter 34 - I love how Angelo's natural instinct is to protect Ruby. Angelo was so worried about Charlie, and yet he managed to be a comfort to Ruby, and he phoned Ross and Morag to tell them. I loved this chapter so much, you wrote it so well! I'm glad Leah is going to have a chat with Roman cos his behaviour is unacceptable! The bit in the diner about keeping an eye on Colleen made me laugh The scene with Charlie and Ruby was beautiful, and the way you finished the chapter was so moving. Chapter 35 - I hope that Roman decides to put things right, even if it's only for Nicole's sake, cos he really needs to work on his relationship with her. And he will listen to her when she tells him to apologise to people. I'm glad he told her the truth about everything, she deserved to know. Phew, sorry they're not that long, I didn't want you to fall asleep reading them! But they were great, can't wait for the next chapter.

Wow you've been busy, two great chapters! Chapter 26 - Roman I still can't forgive him for all he did to Charlie, and then all the stuff in the hospital. He really doesn't deserve Leah's support, although it looks like it could turn into more than support. I wonder what they will do, it would be so awkward because of Charlie, if something's going to happen Leah really needs to talk to her. I loved the way you wrote the bit about Charlie's first step, I could feel the pain and frustration, yet the determination to do it, well done And Charlie was able to interpret Angelo's smile, she knows him so well and it was so lovely when Angelo gave Ruby a hug, she needed comforting so badly. I hope Ross doesn't blame Morag that they missed Charlie's rehab but it might be a slight comfort to know that Angelo and Ruby were there. Chapter 27 - Loved the wee chat Angelo and Ruby had, it's lovely that she thinks of him as a friend, and I'm sure Charlie would be so grateful to Angelo if she knew that he had been there for Ruby to talk to I'm glad that it seems nothing is going to happen between Roman and Leah at this stage, I think it would hurt Charlie to much after everything Roman has put her through, and Leah being her best friend. Poor Ross, I hope Ross speaks to Charlie when she wakes up, I think she will forgive him ok, he needs to stop beating himself up about it! Brilliant as always!

Oh my goodness, I really hope Angelo gets there in time!! I can't believe she would have an abortion just to get back at him, she would be emotionally scarred for life and I don't know if Angelo could forgive her although it will force Ruby to talk to him which could be good. I loved how Ava and Ben were so happy to see Angelo, and they acted that it was just like a normal day where he would take them out, I'm glad it hasn't been too disruptive for them. I loved Charlie's reaction to hearing about Ruby's slap, that really made me laugh and it really shows that she cares about Angelo. The Charlie/Ruby/Callum stuff was lovely, although I agree that Charlie is way too young to be called Granny Great work as usual

Ben is so sweet and innocent, he doesn't understand it. And Ava, remembering the promise her mum made her the time Charlie and Angelo were fighting, I'm glad she doesn't want him to move out. The High School Musical bit was sweet, Charlie is being so brave for the kids, I really admire her for that. I understand why Ruby is so mad at Angelo, and I'm sure Alf was so gobsmacked , it was totally unexpected cos he loves Charlie so much I can't help but feel a little sorry for him. And that slut who appeared, ooh I could kill her! Loved the slap, she deserved far worse. I love how Ruby was sticking up for Charlie, Charlie has been through a lot to keep the baby she doesn't want, and she needs to look after herself well or she could lose it I'm glad Angelo has somewhere to stay but I hope Alf doesn't end up getting caught up in it all. I just want them to work things out, but I don't think any of Charlie's actions were wrong. Loved the update!

Ok so I'll comment on the last two. Great work by the way Chapter 24 - Loved the bit at the start with Roman, you wrote it so well. I hope he doesn't try to drown himself! I loved that Charlie was always at the forefront of Angelo's mind, even when he just wanted to try and relax he was worried about her when he saw the letter, stupid reporters have some consideration! His wee chat with Leah was funny. And I liked Ross's concern for Charlie, and it's lovely that he has Morag to try and reassure him and be there for him, so sweet. Chapter 25 - The wee bit at the start with Alf and Roman was funny The birth certificate thing, it just makes things more confusing. I loved the way Ruby and Angelo walked into the hospital together, and I'm sure Charlie will be so excited to see them! I'm sure Angelo just couldn't keep away! I love Charlie's determination to get better Loved the hug Irene gave Angelo. Great updates!!

I like the way that although Charlie said it was over she did say it would take a long time for him to earn her trust, so I hope he can. Another great update Leah should never have been trying to comfort Roman in the first place I think so I'm glad that she went back to Charlie. I'm glad that Charlie and Leah can talk to each other, and VJ sleeping in the chair was sweet! I hope Ruby comes back to talk to Charlie, and I really hope that Charlie does act on her feelings for Angelo!! Glad Charlie's ok. Great work

Wow you've been writing loads Cally! Great work Part 1 - Poor Charlie in so much pain, but it was a lovely moment when Ruby came and hugged her. I hope Ruby doesn't stay away for too long, but at least she explained to Charlie that she needed space to sort things out in her head. Now it's Charlie wanting to see Angelo even when she's in pain but I think it will take more than a juice to take her mind off him! And Angelo realised he loved her , at last! I'm glad Leah came to see her, and that she was able to talk to her about Roman, cos she probably needed to talk to someone about it. It's good that Ruby can talk to Bree, and hopefully now she will try and talk to Charlie about how she feels. Part 2 - I'm glad Charlie was honest with Roman, and hopefully now he will accept that it's over. You scared me when Roman went after Angelo, I thought he was going to do something to him! But they certainly got some things out in the open and Angelo said what he needed to! That was a lovely wee moment between Ross and Morag. I sort of wish that Leah had went back to Charlie instead of going with Roman, it's Charlie that needs her support! Great work!!

Another great update Cally I loved how Ruby clung to Ross like their relationship had not changed, like she would have if she had been upset any other time, but it's understandable that she wants to hear what happened from Charlie. It was so caring the way Morag stayed with Angelo until he fell asleep, talking to him, and she finally let herself cry, she doesn't have to be strong all of the time. I liked the scene with Leah and VJ, I'm so glad she has finally come to see Charlie , and I hope VJ isn't too sad when she sees Charlie lying there, but I'm glad that it looks like Charlie is going to talk to Leah, she needs a friend right now. Angelo realises he's in love looking forward to it! xo

Great update I felt sorry for Morag, feeling awkward, but I'm glad Ruby asked her to stay, and she walked Angelo back to his room, and said she would get him if Charlie or Ruby needed him, loved that bit Morag is so caring. I love how Angelo cares about Ruby so much, and you can really see his affection for her, and he's an absolute rock for Charlie I'm glad Charlie got to tell Ruby about the rape, Ross would have felt uncomfortable because he didn't exactly have Charlie's permission to tell Ruby. And the Ross and Ruby bit at the end was really lovely, I'm so glad she isn't rejecting him cos it must be so confusing for her. And Roman, I fear it's a bit late for him to start fighting for Charlie. Wonderful as usual! Keep it up

Another great update, I laughed at the bit with Ava and High School musical ,I thought it was nice the way Ben went to greet Angelo when he came home, so sweet, although stupid Angelo didn't really think his story through well enough. He should have told her the truth at the start, she would have found out eventually. Poor Charlie, I'm sure she feels so betrayed, and hurt and angry that her husband could do this to her. You wrote their argument really well, and I could feel the tension from the moment he walked in through the door. I don't blame Charlie for kicking him out but I hope they get past this. Keep up the good work!

Really enjoyed this chapter, stupid stupid Angelo, I really hope she's not pregnant, he shouldn't have even been talking to her in the first place, he should have talked to Charlie. It's so nice to see Ruby getting on so well with her son, and she's a great support to Charlie. I loved the stuff with Charlie and the kids, Ben is so cute, I like how Charlie was worried about Angelo when he didn't come home, and what is he going to say to her when he does come home? I'm glad he feels so bad about it, he should. And I hope that woman never reappears again. Great work!

Beautiful Poor Morag, not knowing what to do and who she needed to be with, but I'm so glad Ruby decided to go with her to the hospital. Roman, does he really love Charlie? It's taken him so long to come and see her, no wonder he's not really welcome. That was so lovely, Angelo comforting Ruby, it might be hard for her to talk to Charlie right now but at least she lets Angelo comfort her. I hope that Ross is able to talk to Ruby in a way that won't destroy their relationship, although I'm sure whatever he has to say will be hard for both of them. Keep up the great work

Poor VJ, he seems really fond of his Aunty Charlie, it's so sweet how much he cares. Roman, perhaps a bit too late I think, as it is Angelo and Ross waiting to hear the doctor's news. And the scene with Angelo and Ross was lovely, he understands how much Angelo means that he will be there for her. Poor Charlie, she has so many injuries but at least she's alive. I really hope Ruby goes back to the hospital to talk to Charlie. Great work
