First visiting my grandparents, then went to Menorca where I visited my ex-girlfriend who I mentioned in th BTTB BB house (the one who locked me naked on the balcony) and we're back together. In fact, she's arriving here tomorrow for a holiday!

I suppose I've not been around much since I got back. Plus without BTTB BB I've got no outlet for SmuttyAlex.

Well, I was away for the summer but I've been back for two weeks already!

Well, back when it was predominantly Neighbours-oriented, a large number of the main posters were about twelve, so General Chat consisted of topics like 'Fave book' 'Last movie you saw' 'What did you do at school today'. Yet strangely the standards of SPAG etc seemed better even though the current members seem to be a lot older.

It does seem the board has gone a little crazy lately - not exactly the family-friendly forum it used to be.

I'm expecting trouble journey-wise tomorrow too, as I'll have to travel through Perthshire where the G8 summit is taking place. But my mate was on that road today and says there were no problems but if something seemingly small happens (like holding up traffic for some dignitary) then there can quickly be huge tailbacks. Any Scots can probably guess that I'm talking about the A9!

I remember leaving a farewell note last year too, the 24th of June it was... and since then so much has happened on here and there are so many new faces... Last year when I returned I found my best mate-on-the-forum/co-HappyFamilies-writer had left, I'm hoping not to get a similar nasty surprise this time...

As the staff will already know, I'm leaving tomorrow... ...but only for a few weeks, and I'll try to pop back if I get the chance. But I'll definitely be back sometime in August.

Woohoo, worked out it must have been September. Then it all got deleted while I was on holiday.

At one point we were going through 20, even 30 pages per day! I can't remember exactly when I started the first Oldies, but it was when there were around 1100 members, so all I have to do is find someone whose member number is round about that and check their join date.

Well I've done work on the episode summaries, the credits order lists, a (very) wee bit of adding and corecting to Ryan's cast lists, plus I've done Angie Russell's profile, plus Dylan Russell and Helen Poulos which are finished but not up yet, and four more profiles on the way in the next 2 days (Stephen Ross and the Ellis family). So I'm guessing I'm in 6th-10th place.

So guys, what have you been up to this past fortnight?

My plan is just to keep posting in it every few hours about the usual Oldie rubbish until everyone else joins in!

I've thought many times about requesting a change to Alex, but always decided against it.

I can't cook real food but I make loads of desserts - my all-time most popular one is my Jelly Biscuits - basically bashed up and re-shaped digestives as a base, Rowntree's Jelly on top with bits of real fruit inside it. Takes a while to make though.
