  1. Sometime down the line I think she'll be killed off and there will be a big funeral and the character will get the send off she deserves. It is indeed a huge loss and I think a part of the show is gone forever and it's been forever changed now. Now that Deidre is gone, there is really little comedy left.
  2. Well, Deidre won't be coming back. Corrie has been shattered and will never be the same again. RIP Anne.
  3. You got any evidence that this is what Cornelia is thinking? I know you're not fond of the current writers and producers and fair enough you have a right to think like that. I certainly have my own criticism of them as well but until you provide any quotes or evidence that Cornelia has similar thoughts about the current production team then what your saying is purely speculative at best. For what it's worth, I'd love to see her return! Morag is one of my favourite characters and she was brilliant in her all stints with the early to mid-2000s being her best stint on the show in my opinion. I'm sorry, Jezz, I should have made it more clear just for you. It is my opinion that this is what Cornelia thinks. Yes, it is me speculating. However, sometime around 2012 she have an interview to Digital Spy I think and she felt that the writers missed opportunities with Celia and Morag together. It was something along those lines. She has commented on the writing in the past too, as has Lyn Collingwood. They are both professionals and have never slagged off or insulted the writing room however! Yes, it's time we saw Morag again. To think though that she was almost a regular in the mid 00s and now might as well not exist. It's a shame, we could do with more older characters. It's a show full of bland, arrogant young characters now, played by catalogue model actors.
  4. The writers we have now are ****-poor and Cornelia knows this. After her last stint, I'm sure Cornelia realised that certain members on the writing and production team just aren't up to the job.
  5. She made a slight parting shot at the writers last time she appeared. Either they took it personally (very likely) or Cornelia just doesn't wish to be associated with what Home and Away has turned into.
  6. Home and Away has become a cheap parody of itself. Lucy Addario, along with her BFF Louise Bowes, have done some serious damage to the show that seemingly will only get worse while they continue with their positions.
  7. Let's hope that changes what with the suggestion of Alf playing a major part in the mark of the First World War and the involvement of the Stewart family. Since Ray Meagher mentioned this on a FB Q&A presumably he passed this on to TPTB.
  8. Haha they so do!!, especially Leah's house! Nothing looks used. Sigh Absolutely! Leah's house just doesn't reflect who she is at all. Remember when her house was bright and she had that dining table in her little kitchen? You could believe that it was used on a daily basis and things were always lying around as they do in a real house. Everything is so perfectly placed now and doesn't represent the character at all. There's been no life in the writing for a good few years now and the sets have now succumbed to that.
  9. Each set has had the 'essence of the character' taken away and all now look like showrooms for a furniture store.
  10. Did Bevan Lee also introduce Jazz Curtis? She was the last truly well-written and layered character IMO. Along with Rachel Holden before her. Just look at those two characters and others from the past 10 years and look at what we've got now. Just awful and I blame the writers.
  11. Even so, she made Martha the character she is and another actress wouldn't be the same IMO.
  12. You may well be right! Cornelian has made no secret of the fact that she was disappointed with her last few stints. Although, she is a true class act and didn't actually criticise the writers that much. She just expressed that she would've liked more to say and do. I think she has long since realised that current TPTB do not understand Morag as a character and therefore it's pointless that she return. It's a shame as Cornelia is one of the best female actresses to have appeared on the show and I'd love to see her again if the writers got their act together and put effort into the writing for characters.
  13. The current TPTB seemingly have little regard for continuity or remembering important details of characters that they write for.
  14. Excellent work and a nice feature. Your (and others!) efforts are always appreciated!
  15. He won't return after TPTB ruined his character back in 2007. There's a reason he hasn't been seen since 2007. When Norman first left back in 2003, he made several appearances in 2004 and 2005.
  16. Great seeing Lynne's first episode.
  17. I would like to see these episodes. What a shame that there is so little of the late 90s out there.
  18. I'm still bitterly disappointed that A) they are showing exclusively Braxton-centric episodes and B) that they are so recent! I used to look forward to seeing early 00s' episodes and story lines of days gone by.
  19. It's that very small mob of twitter goons who make Channel 5 think that everyone loves the River Boys and wants to see those sort of repeats in the future!
  20. What did I expect from Channel 5? Does showing some classic episodes as a treat for fans old and new not matter anymore? Shall we pretend that there is no history pre-RiverBoy?
  21. Oh no. I don't watch anymore so I was hoping for some classic episodes during the summer as I really enjoy them. Maybe they will do that for the upcoming 3 week break. It's good news in a way for what's left of the UK fans though!
  22. I will try and email them and ask if they plan to show some classic episodes during the break.
  23. Sorry, Jamie, I don't have the answer to your question. I just wanted to add that I thought Josh was a pretty complex character in his first stint. Really watchable. He should never have been brought back, especially with Daniel Bennett at the helm. Very OTT times for Home and Away in that period.
  24. Is it not edited together as one long episode? I really don't like trailers or promos for the next episode. What's wrong with just waiting patiently for the next episode?
