  10. Awesome thanks! Yeah I think they were a good couple! I thought it was funny when Tony and Palmer fought on the beach and I loved the scene afterwards when Tony and Rachel were back at home - cutee!! That's my favourite Harry scene when Rachel was giving him his breakfast and he was bouncing around!! I think that's possibly the most active I've ever seen a baby on a TV show like this - adorable!! And when Tony and Rachel were talking to each other through Harry a la: "Harry, never get married mate". I just thought Tony was really really awesome. Even when I vaguely knew him when I was watching casually Tony was probably my favourite character! My nickname for him actually, since I got to know him a litle better was "Dad" - I knew of how he still looked out for Maddie even when she was giving him a hard time after Beth died and I really loved how Tony still loved Martha and looked out for her too after Jack was gone - as opposed to not really having anything to do with her just coz that's the way it worked out. Also how Tony was a kinda father figure to Hugo and Xavier as well! Tony was just a lovely lovely guy and I think that Jack, Lucas and Harry was/are lucky to have him as their Dad. Is that too corny given H&A is just a soap? I have to say though that I did get really frustrated with Tony just before they left. He was being sooooooo childish I thought and I got really mad at him for that. Then it turned out it was because of Jack - who Rachel and Tony had already talked about before. I mean if it was all about Tony not wanting to leave Jack, which I do completely understand btw. then why did the writers not make a bigger deal of it when Rachel and Tony talked about Jack before and then they could've both been looking forward to the move together and researching the area, looking at houses and Tony could've been trying to find a job etc. Tony and Rachel could've maybe even called Lucas and had a chat being all excited with him! But instead we had to suffer through Tony being really stubborn and annoying for an age and I was quite upset and sooooo frustrated about that. That's why I said I was very relieved when they all went to The U.S. together. Anyway thanks for saying you'll PM me with the link - sounds awesome!! I'm excited!! Yeah it's always good to remenisce!! Oh I'll be sure to check that out thank you very much!! ETA: So typical, do you know what? I have ep. 4915 but not the one before. Just acquiring eppy now! Found a celebration song on youtube - We Are Family!! Yeah I know I'm kerazy but I don't care!!! Hehe!!
  11. ^^ Wow this sounds really cool!! I miss Family Holden. Tony was and always will be one of favourite characters in H&A ever! I was very relieved when they all left for the States together though! Aw that scene with the fish sounds funny and cute. Can someone please tell me which ep. that was from. I only started watching H&A full time around the time of Belle's funeral.
  12. Angelo - 20 Charlie - 81 Marilyn - 1 Miles - 16 Nicole - 7
  13. What about Snaps? You spell out a word but for the vowels you're supposed to click your fingers: 1 snap = A, 2 snaps = E, 3 snaps = I and so on. For each of the consonants in your chosen word you make up a sentence. But the first word of each sentance of it has to begin with the first/next letter of your chosen word. It's really very simple once you get the hang of it. Example: Let's play Snaps! You might find this hard Do you want to begin? 3 snaps 1 snap This word is Lydia. Get it? P.S. Oh yeah I forgot that at the start of each round you have to say "Snaps is the name of the game. The name of the game is Snaps!"
  14. Angelo -19 Charlie - 80 Marilyn - 3 Miles - 16 Nicole - 7

  20. To rectify the error - Angelo - 17 - I wasn't going to be so obvious and also that's twice in a row I've done this guy but because he was missed off last time I decided to pick my top man! Charlie - 66 Irene - 6 Marilyn - 7 Miles - 20 Nicole - 7 Romeo - 1
  21. Angelo - 16 Charlie - 64 Irene - 6 Marilyn - 7 Miles - 21 Nicole - 7 Romeo - 3
  22. Thanks I appreciate that! I thought all you guys would be pleased that I'd figured it out! Obviously. This is Ruby we're talking about she just is an issue. She's a walking, talking issue and I mean that 100% seriously. I said all of this in my earlier post which is why it was sooooooooooooooooooo frustrating that it got deleted. Ruby seriously needs to get to psychiatrist A.S.A.P. I really mean that. She's not accepting the fact that Charlie is her Mum which is a massive problem. Whenever Charlie tries to parent Ruby Ruby just throws it back in her face. Anyway slight tangent, what I'm trying to say is that that's Ruby - to be at odds with her Mum. I don't know why TPTB are doing it this way. They've hardly done anything with the whole "Ruby's sister's her Mum and not her sister" thing IMO. O.K. nothing positive but that's kinda the same thing because Ruby should've accepted by now that Charlie's her Mum instead of defying her the way she does all the time now. With hindsight I think that Charlie and Ruby should've spent more time together at Leah's exploring their new relationship. That way when Charlie moved in with Angelo and Ruby had to go too - I accepted this at the time and I was like 'Oh yeah Ruby's Charlie's daughter so obviously' Charlie and Ruby would've had a better mother/daughter relationship so it would've been easier for Angelo to play Dad and supporting Charlie in helping to parent Ruby when necessary too. I don't think that Charlie and Angelo just gave up as soon as the issue got really bad. That's really not like them and the relationship they built up since reuniting in May last year. Yeah Ruby was the main cause of Changelo's problems just because she was so blooming defiant of Charlie so how was she supposed to get used to Angelo as well. At the Informal Ruby said to her friends something along the lines of: "Well Angelo's not my Dad". I'm sorry but Ruby was the one that started reffering to all 3 of them as a family in the first place and that means that Angiepants™ was the Dad. Ruby can't then change that when it's not working for her anymore. But then again Ruby's not very nice to her Mum anyway - defiant, angry etc. so why should she treat Angelo in the role of Dad any better? I'm referring to the point when Ruby manipulated Angelo to ask Charlie to let Ruby go to the Informal and then got his head bitten off because of it. Yes Angelo shouldn't have fallen for it and yes Charlie had the right to be mad that he asked her on Ruby's behalf but if Ruby'd never manipulated and used Angelo in the first place then Charlie wouldn't have had to get mad and told Angelo to keep out of it and everything that followed etc. would she. If you look at when Paolo came and all the problems he caused, Charlie and Angiepants™ solved them together but then again Paolo wasn't living with Charlie and Angelo was he. Charlie and Angelo were really strong and they could get through any problem until Ruby was living with them too. Then Ruby started using Angelo and Angelo was being there for Charlie whenever Ruby defied her parenting and maybe all that just got too much for Charlie and Angelo and try as they might they just couldn't get things back on track again plus Charlie's just not gonna sell her daughter out and abandon her is she. - Yeah about that - I didn't mean it like that. I just meant that Ruby can't be trusted not to use Angelo against Charlie and vice versa and Charlie and Angelo were just getting on a lot better when Ruby wasn't like the third wheel in their relationship, if you understand me, weren't they? I mean they were fine when they were living seperately i.e. without Ruby being a part of their relationship but then as soon as she started living with them everything went pear shaped - go figure. But then all this ties back to Charlie telling Bianca: "It's not an easy balancing act" doesn't it and Ruby didn't make it easy for Charlie or Angelo either did she. Yes I know that probably was not her intention but that was the effect. If Ruby had been more of a team player and more accepting of Charlie being her Mum and everything that involves then I think Changelo would still be the awesome couple they once were now. I'm not attacking Ruby just because I hate her you know. I just don't think she's a very good person at all but she could help herself and in turn Charlie would be happier and then Angiepants™ too (if Changelo were still an item that is or for the next and forever time ). I was just making the point that Ruby interrupted them. Not anything else, Ruby interrupted Charlie and Angelo and I was just making the point that Ruby shouldn't have interrupted. She should've come back later, after Charlie and Angelo had finished sorting things out so she wouldn't have interrupted them. Yeah, yeah I know Ruby couldn't have timed it and she probably didn't mean to interrupt but that's why I made the point of saying that's the effect it had - that Ruby interrupted them so Charlie and Angelo didn't get the chance to finish their conversation. That's all I was saying. Obviously things happened the way they did and of course Charlie was going to go and talk to Ruby - I'm not blaming Charlie for that. I'm just mad that Ruby interrupted. Anyway I just assumed that Charlie finished the conversation with Angelo and they figured it out like usual later on. But maybe they didn't because Angelo had to go to work and then life got in the way etc. And I think that's when things began to snowball. I've never blamed Charlie for how Ruby's turned out recently. O.K. there was one time - just after Charlie'd found out that Ruby got drunk and grounded her wayward daughter but then just basically ignored the issue. But even then I never blamed Charlie or thought anything too bad of her because Ruby was still defying Charlie's parenting and being rude and frustrating so I was more focused on Ruby's behaviour because her's was the worst of the 2. Re: " Especially during the six or so months that Charlie was permanently glued to Angelo's side." - that was just the way it was being written. Charlei and Angelo had just started going out again so all that stuff was necessary which by the way I loved!! But Charlie and Ruby had a long period before then to adjust to their situation but TPTB didn't help them. I think it's TPTB that have handled this whole"Charlie's the Mum" issue completely wrong. Yeah well they need to talk to Ruby then. They need to have a serious conversation and define Ruby's role as the daughter to Ruby as well. It's not just about Angelo finding a role to play in the family. He tried. Ruby was the one that messed up. Always. Well Charlie and Angelo kind of already did that but then Ruby messed it up by using Angelo to get Charlie to let Ruby go to the Informal. It's all Ruby's fault. She just uses people all the time and when she gets her own way (Angelo saying he'll talk to Charlie) she silently applauds herself and carries on her perfect little life where she doesn't have to take responsibility for anything. Come on it's more than just "the odd bit of misbehaving". You know? Ruby's just sooooooo out of order to Charlie all the time and that's not normal. You know that's why Dex was O.K. in the whole grounding situation - he knew he was beat so just lived with being grounded. Ruby kept pushing Charlie and Ruby used Angelo like her pawn when things didn't go the way she wanted so therefore Ruby just SUCKS end of story.
  23. Arghh why does this always happen to me. I don't even know what I did but I obviously don't have the long post I was working on to post now do I. I'm just gonna say for now that I never said Ruby did it deliberately. She is a lot of things but she's not that screwed up and she's not that selfish. I never said it was deliberate did I. The quote in my sig, I'll put it here for you: Charlie to Bianca (about April living with Bianca and Liam): I tried living with my boyfriend and a teenager... It's not an easy balancing act. - I believe says a lot. We know that Ruby was casuing problems before the finale don't we. I believe the key is in the fact that Charlie and Angelo never go to finish their conversation about dealing with Ruby etc. before guess who it was interrupted them? That's right Ruby. Because before Ruby so rudely interrupted, yeah, yeah whatever - the effect was that she interrupted and Charlie went to talk to her daughter instead of finishing her very important conversation with Angelo. I think that if Changelo'd been able to finish their "working it out like always" conversation then and there that they'd still be together now. I think the fact that they didn't finish it was the starter for everything including the point they're at now. I'll try to come back and finish this post later but I think that's the most important thing for now.
  24. Ooh! Done. Angelo - 15 Charlie - 61 Irene - 8 Marilyn - 7 Miles - 21 Nicole - 7 Romeo - 5
  25. Um hmm! Without the tension - very important! You said it amigo! I really really hope it's on though! Ditto! Yeah I thought they were sorted!! Like I said I was secretly looking forward to their Wedding and thinking how it might be & how Angie might propose etc. Yeah totally! I think TPTB have sadly forgotten about this. And all the stuff with Jack and Hugo and how moving in together was such a big deal for them. Yeah I think all the writers have forgotten about those things. It's gonna work out next time people! Don't give up hope! It just has to! I mean it's not at the forefront of my mind or anything coz these 2 are still dealing with the issues so their not gonna be reunited for the final time for quite a while yet but the hope's still there. I think that just means that maybe Charlie never got to that point yet. I know she was happy with Angiepants™ and she loved him and everything but I think she was just content to live with him for the moment. She never got to thinking about Marriage or anything. That's my theory. I haven't seen this yet but that's my take on it. No I don't think that's right because when Ruby was talking to him he shook his head when Ruby mentioned Charlie's commitment issues. I don't think your theory's correct but I have a new one! I hope you've all noticed the change I've made to my sig. Well we just had that ep. in the UK yesterday when Angelo took Charlie her stuff and Charlie went out to see B and April. Anyhoo I was able to watch it without being so angry and gagging for answers etc. i.e. I was able to watch the scene with Bianca and Charlie objectively and so I heard properly what Charlie said to Bianca (see sig). It was all Ruby's fault you guys. That ties in with why Charlie wouldn't let Angelo tell Ruby initially and why he didn't elaborate when Ruby went to see him at Angelo's. I don't know all the details yet but I think Ruby was stressing Changelo out too much and Angelo couldn't work out the role he was supposed to play in Ruby's life and Charlie couldn't either. It was maybe like Charlie chose loyalty to Ruby instead of trying to work things out with Angelo. But if it was Ruby issues it's still not really great. I mean it's not issues between Charlie and Angelo per se so that's good but as if I needed another reason to hate Ruby. Seriously that girl needs to get some professional help. She's all over the place. She has very few morals, very few, she thinks she can just use everybody to get her own way and she's still guilt tripping her Mum at every opportunity (except for when Charlie used Angelo after the wake - that was legit.). Charlie needs to get her daughter to a psychiatrist A.S.A.P. seriously. Maybe Charlie and Ruby can even do some therapy together to help their Mother/daughter relationship. It would also benefit everyone for when Charlie and Angelo decide to move back in with each other again. Although I'd prefer for Ruby to just move to Irene's instead - punishment. She can still hang out etc. with Mum and "Dad" but just not living with them. Maybe she could have sleepovers and Charlie would still have a fairly substantial parental role but if Ruby can't be trusted to not get in between Changelo again then she shouldn't live with them.
