Though I'm not quite sure a full transcription of the scene quite fits into our '5 line signature' rule now does it? It does sound funny. Can't wait to catch up with it. I really didn't think, Alf could be that angry.

I see the updates, but closing credits centre seems to be abandoned, will it ever be updated?

Nathaniel "Nate" Cooper - Kyle Pryor
sindikatas replied to AznPride112's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
Charlotte's last the was Adams and the actress (Stephanie Jacobsen) can be seen in Revenge at the moment. Anyway getting back to Nate I knew this would happen as soon as Brax came back but I don't think Ricky should've treated Nate that way. Usually I like Ricky but I just hope Nate find someone who won't screw with his feelings. I don't think Ricky did anything wrong. She was honest with Nate, didn't lead him on. She never thought Brax would come back, and really she has done nothing wrong in this situation. Here here and Nate should have known better that Brax and Ricky had knwon each other for years and it would be impossible to shift your feeling so soon from a man you have known for a long time to a man you have met only months ago. -

Some people say that Braxtons are loved because of their looks, but that is more true on facebook or yahoo pages. But this character is seriously idolized because of his looks even on this forum. And I don't like it. He's not that great or memorable as a character. Dating a woman who is in a very fragile state is not very acceptable in my book. And all this frequent walking around shirtless just seems like some kind of boasting "look at me, how great I am" and all those praise for his body on this forum makes me annoyed. Jealousy? Maybe, but he is so much loved when I feel that he doesn't deserve to be and I just want to show that there is at least one person who feels differently. -
Chris Harrington - Johnny Ruffo

Well, I consider everybody getting poisoned from Chris's risotta a very serious storyline. And we saw, that he has conscience and deeply regrets about his foolish actions. -
Quite interesting theories, I thought there waqs something mentioned in the show about it.

What does Blood and Sand mean?

It was time to change them, because at least personally 1988-1992 style credits were screaming "80s" and it wasn't 80s anymore. Then they were experimenting with styles of the credits until 1996, which credits personally looks the least dated.

Quite an interesting point that not only Angelo's in the current episodes miraculously gets money from nowhere.
-
Do you happen to know any of any specific episodes where it appeared...? Long shot I know! If this is what I think it is, then it is heard in episode 915 after the recap finishes.

As I understood this question is whenever there are interiors in real life that look like the sets we know, because as you can see in location thread the actual inside of the beach house is quite different from the one seen in the show. And Summer Bay house doesn't exactly match the real house that was destroyed in 2002 only 1 wall.

Tamara Kingsley - Kelly Paterniti

I'd rather be in denial and believe that the reasons of her recent behaviour are what she says them to be and not jealousy. It's really too much jumping from one guy to another. -
Chris Harrington - Johnny Ruffo

It's possible in Lithuania too but it's a matter of luck and having right connections. -
She's still calling Alf Mr Stewart even though she doesn't work for him. Shouldn't she call him Alf. She did start calling Donald by his first name once she finished school. What is even more strange is that the last time she saw Celia in 1990 she reffered to her as Ms. Stewart. But last year when they met Marilyn reffered to her as Ceils. And it was never explained how it happened,

Don't know ho9w it was in the beginning though with casting as Emily was very hot when she first joined.
-
Well there was an interview which said that she hoped to sign another three year contract and I doubt that producers would want to get rid of her.
-
I'm glad of that because when she first left there was some awful photo shop jobs done to make Debra Lawrance appear in these photos. They tried to wipe her out. Fast forward a decade or two and they happily use Vanessa Downing's Pippa in flashbacks and voiceovers... funny how time heals all! Why was there bad blood between Vanessa Downing and H&A when she left?. There were talks that she was angry at producers for axing Tom, the main character, but I don't think that he was axed. There is an interview with Judy Nunn, where she says "at first it was Tom and Pippa and then the pair wanted to leave, Tom died and Pippa became Debra Lawrance". I think that Roger's and Vanessa's contracts ended at the same time. By the time Tom was gone, Vanessa had been appearing more than usual(four episodes a week or even in every episode), which may mean that she was on short guest contract before another actress would step in, and once Debra took over as Pippa she appeared in 3 episodes a week as usual.

It's a tradition to give bride away and to losing her shouldn't be understood directly.

I wonder why Irene was recast. I've just found an article from 1992 TV WEEK, that Jacqy was willing to reprise the role. http://televisionau.com/2012/06/1992-june-21-27.html

I wonder how an annoying character could have been popular at the same time.

Morag Bellingham - Cornelia Frances
sindikatas replied to emmasi's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
She left because of her age. She decided that it's time for her to leave. -
She's one difficult person. I just can't understand how a sweet natured girl could become such a bitch. I get that she was angry at Alf and Ailsa, she had a reason to be. But some of the things she did were really undeserved.
-
I love her. She's the light of the Bay. She always makes this show seem less doom and gloom.
-
That's interesting. I could never find anything about Jacqy. I'm glad she's still acting.

Darryl 'Brax' Braxton - Steve Peacocke
sindikatas replied to dncllpyk's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
A quote from Jacklost made me think. "I hope Steve never leaves the show". What do you of the show's future if Brax stays there for a long time. He has his friends but he also has enemies. Would that mean that long-term fans who have switched off the show will never watch it again? Is it possible to make him a long term character? I think too much time has passed and he would seem like a very different character if he stayed long term. The writers have made a mistake by isolating him from the rest of community and having him mostly in scenes with his brothers, lovers and enemies from the past. It would seem very out out character if he became a friendly member of comunity. He had his moments of charity but that seemed very forced only written to make other people like him.
