She will never return? Was it because she was dissapointed in the way Sally was treated? Come on, if this is the case then beut_t might be right after all. The show did die when she returned.

i don't want double episodes as it would mean opening ane closing credits cut out. Also it would be more complicated with people who are recording the episodes and uploading to the net.

I do miss her and I imagine that in 00's she was quite important whereas now she seems to be forgotten -
I read on facebook page that But I don't think so. I don't like this term in general as I think each character should be unique.

Evelyn "Evie" MacGuire - Philippa Northeast

She's just simply brainwashed and/or scared of her father. But I believe she will see sense eventually. -

But she can't stay single can't she. There was no need for her to fall for Kyle after memory loss. She just can't be without a man in her life. -

I think it's safe to say that she doesn't like hanging out with girls and prefers male company. April would be an exception if they are friends. -
I know that she isn't on the show now, but I wanted to create a thread as she's my favourite character from early years. She is not an empty person, despite being a busybody and can be a very loving human being. Her tragic backstory makes her very sympathetic. Even though she had "friends", the only genuine friend she had was Ailsa. She would never open up about her feelings to anyone else (apart occasionally to Alf). Where as Ailsa's good friend Pippa didn't like her much. I was looking forward to her return this year, but it was disappointing, that she was allowed only to appear twice a week and her storyline about gambling was swept under the carpet. I don't think she works as a guest as part of her personality traits are needing to be concerned about life of the place where she is and she feel responsible for the morality of community. She can hardly participate in business of town she doesn't live in or gossip. What are your thoughts about her? And what do you think about her return this year? Early years viewers, do you miss her in currently screening 1992 episodes?

Michael can get on my nerves for shouting at Haydn, doing stupid decisions, like keeping quiet about David's death to Sophie until she returned, but what I admire is that he is always prepared to give people a second chance, chance to rehabilitate. i loved how he said in one episode that he still doesn't regret giving a chance to revhead even if he was proved to be wrong. I really hate when a whole town turns against someone and doesn't let a person to turn over a new leaf. I think in this case I prefer Michael to Alf.

I've seen original Irene recently and it's hard to believe that the nice woman, today working in the diner was once such a monster. And that monster was exciting to watch. As for Lynne's Irene I have only seen her from 2012-present episodes and she is boring. But after reading in this forum I understand it's a result of neglectance and this Irene could be interesting without being evil.

No it is 1950, as the show started in 1988 so she'd be about 37-38 years old in the show. The actress was born in 1948 so therefore she was 39 when the show started filming for the very first time. Therefore I'm not sure how you pulled out 1960 out of nowhere I think he may have confused with Debra's birthdate as I remeber reading somewhere that she was born in 1960.

I think that Old H&A Fan's reaction way over the top. I can understand the damage that Sophie is pregnant but to wish David's death... He might have even supported her and helped to raise a child if he hadn't died.

It was Lance's father who changed name. Martin's father was credited as Fred in 1988 and as Ern in 1989. Oh, sorry.
-
It was Lance's father who changed name. I don't think Steven changed school year, but Vicki did. She was introduced as a nasty classmate of Carly's making her to be in year 12 but later in that year she was a classmate of Viv's making her to be in year 11, and not to mention her father becoming much younger next year.
-
She was shown in the flashback from Alf's childhood in 2010, also mentioned by Celia In 1988.

I thought it was 1996. As remeber seeing end of 1993 episodes and it had that logo. Strangely in the 90's freeze frames never had logo in the episodes showed outside Australia.

I liked her when she was originaly in desert. I even liked her when she came to the bay. Many people hated her because she "stole" Casey from Sasha, but for me it looked like Casey was never really that interested in Sasha and he chose Tamara himself. She was very rude to Kyle, which I could also understand considering he tried to kill her, but after memory loss I think of her as a very selfish brat. She knows that she had a boyfriend before and I can understand not wanting her to rush to him, but why to break his heart by going to another? There were a few scenes with other schoolgirls where I thought she could really shine but it seems the writers decided to make her one of the Braxtons. -
Maddy Osborne - Kassandra Clementi

She can whiny and bitchy and she really was out of line barging into Sasha's house and throwing accusations on her. She does have nice sides though like sticking up for Bianca to remain a principal or being concerned about little Pippa, that's why I don't give up on her and wait for something more. -
I noticed that in episode 915 broadcasted on 7TWO during first few minutes the picture was stretched to fit whole widescreen only later it went to its usual form with black bars on left and right. Did this mistake occur in all Australia or only in some areas?

It's been photo collage in 2009-2010 and is mountain from the sea since 2011, right? It should be changed as it doesn't match the opening card anymore. My favourite closing themes are from 1996-1999 since there are characters in them. As for the theme that is used now even if it would be extended the "oooooo ooooooo" part still wouldn't fit in it, which is a shame because I really like it.
-
Is the closing theme in UK still the same as it was last year and year before?
-
I don't like that Frank and Roo's theme was used in a recap where Bobby and Frank meet at the beach. This theme is not about this couple. There was Frank and Bobby theme "when best friends fall in love" but still I think they should have played Bobby's theme in that scene like in the 1991 finale.

Why Brax doesn't like being called Darryl? The same goes why Indi's husband wants to be called Romeo instead of Todd?

yes i believe they are going to show through the 90's. They took the early years off during christmas because the ratings are high and they don't want viewers to miss episodes because of being away on holidays. They wouldn't want to skip golden era which will give even higher ratings. And i believe they show only one episode a day in order not to catch up with current show so that it could stay in this morning time slot until the show finishes. They haven't skipped any episodes yet and they all appeared in its original form with opening/closing credits intact. No special editions. Why they would want to break that perfect order?
