Sadly, I think Pip is part of a past Summer Bay.That has long gone. I really can not see her playing a massive part in the Bay's future. She may pop in to celebrate for a day or so if the Bay acknowledges been on air for 30 years.

It is my belief that when characters are reintroduced as a previous character, it loses some appeal. If they can not get hold of the previous actor, can't the writers justcreate a new character rather than destroying the image and back story that we have in our mind of the original?? Rachel Banno could have worked quite well - If she came in as an original character and wasn't portraying someone who had previously been in the show.

I think you've got something there, Emmasi. Irene would make a good surrogate for Kit. They certainly had quite a relationship.

I think that Amy Mizzi needs to come back to the bay and further develop her character, Kit Hunter. I realise that none of her initial original family is left in the Bay; the Hunters as well as the Sutherlands are long gone. But - Perhaps this is an idea that could work. She could come back as part of the show's 30th Anniversary celebrations, as a nod to the early 2000s. She could come in, not as a guest but as someone looking to stay back in Summer Bay as a longstanding resident. As mentioned in another thread I forsee that she has had a messy relationship with some unseen guy off screen and she has come back to the Bay because it was where she was happy. She gets drawn into a relationship with Joey (Kate Bell) who also returns to the Bay to allow the writers and producers to have yet another go at a same sex homosexual storyline. But this will not be the thing that defines her character this time round. Joey settles back into the Bay and her relationship with Kit in time is only a tiny faucet of her overall character. PS. I just realised that I have been charting their return and not talking about their original stints. Whoops! ? Apologies for going slightly off track.

Yeah - That was in Marilyn's beauty salon, wasn't it? In the diner? I remember that scene really well.

I have to say - I really enjoyed the interaction between Chloe (Kristy Wright) , Jesse (Ben Unwin) and Selina (Tempany Deckert). I thought it was a shame that later storylines led to Jesse led to Jesse accidentally killing Chloe in the car accident following Alf's 60th Birthday.

Wow. It's definitely been quite some time since this thread has been thought of. I wanted to acknowledge Ray's work during the Anzac Day storyline last year. It was very well done indeed and Ray portrayed Alf exquisitely. The character of Alf and the longevity of Ray in Summer Bay is all that is keeping me tuning in to what is happening in the Bay these days.

I would love to see Jesse back but I'm pretty sure Ben Unwin is a lawyer now. So I am not sure if he would want to come back. Which is a shame.

Does anyone know the name of the song that was played when Pippa was in hospital after being knocked by Kye? I remember it being a really moving scene in hospital and the song definitely added to it.

Yeah, you're right Ryan. And they were cheesy but I focussed on Kate Ritchie and it wasn't too bad.

Loved it, I Love Music. Intense, and amazingly written as always. You manage to draw the reader in right away. Just one question though ... - Whatever happened to you telling me you wouldn't be writing fanfics anymore? Not that I'm complaining; I love your work and it's great to see someone else is actually addicted to writing in much the same way that I am!
