It happened when she came to the Bay - it was one of her first "big" storylines. Sharyn Hodgson who played Carly was quite a credible actor and they threw a spout of alcoholism at her as her way of dealing with the rape. From memory, I think Lance and Martin actually aided and abetted her drinking ...

That is so true ... that she (like everyone else) put on different fronts to mask what she was really feeling. And I loved her too - along with Bobby and Sally, of course!!

Actually in the Early Years, Lynne wasn't very confident at all; she was really shy - probably because she didn't feel as though she fit in either. She was very religious and different to the other girls on the show at the time. Not to worry though - I'm still loving your interpretation of all the characters! It's great! You capture the essence of Summer Bay so well!!!
