  1. Adam Cameron was a prominent character of the Early Years appearing regularly from 1989 in episode 338 and eventually departing in 1994 in episode 1413. Adam then returned five years later in a guest capacity in 1999 for two months. In the five years he was in the show, Adam certainly did have his fair share of troubles and he's mostly remembered for being a part of the boat ride that killed Bobby Simpson. Now a few questions to those who know about the character, because I'm quite intrigued by how Adam's character evolved in the five years he was a regular on the show. 1). Did Adam start off as a good guy, but did he gradually get worse as time went on and why did he turn out this way? 2). Was the way Adam treated after Bobby's death somewhat justified or was it cruel as he already felt terrible about Bobby's death? 3). Was his return in 1999 necessary or was it a waste of time?
  2. Her mother did come to Summer Bay briefly and Maddy initially thought that her mother wanted to reconnect with her, but all she was aiming to do was to ship her off to boarding school after she left Summer Bay briefly.
  3. Wow there's definitely a resemblance to that basketball player somewhat. His eyes do standout though. I agree, Lincoln's acting is quite good for where he's at, at the moment. I recommend people seeing the TV show Tangle to see how well Lincoln can act.
  4. I found it hard to believe but I do remember his Birthday being mentioned in Episode 5400 which aired on October 7 2011 in Australia and he may have joked about being 50 in that episode from memory. The actor was born in August 1958 so he's currently 54 and obviously turning 55 next month so I presume either John is at that age or just a little bit younger which was hinted in Episode 5400.
  5. John is about 6-7 years older I think. John was born around the early 1960s and Marilyn was born around 1968-1969 from memory.
  6. Yes now I remember him. I was trying to think of who Wayne was but I remember it now. Ric was being bullied severely by Dom at the time and Wayne was a former apprentice at Moran Motors before Ric was in the position.
  7. I know that Brax and Casey were contracted for 3 years, and Heath was originally on a 6-month contract until they made him a regular character. I'm guessing Kyle will be around longer than the other 3 brothers in my opinion.
  8. I'm loving Heath at the moment. He's become more responsible and mature ever since Brax has been shot and he's been excellent in controlling his emotions for the sake of his daughter. I love the fact that Connie is finally realising that Heath only wants what's best for Darcy.
  9. I'm not liking Kyle in this love triangle storyline. Instead of Kyle being caught up with this annoying storyline, I wish the writers would explore his character more and what his past was like living in a foster family and how the death of his mother soon after Danny went to jail affected him. Kyle needs more character-driven storylines. I like Kyle as a character, but I don't like the storyline he's currently involved in.
  10. Thanks for answering my question RR
  11. I know Alf has three children in Roo (with Martha), Duncan (with Alisa) and Owen (with Viv), but I read on Wikipedia (unreliable source) that Alf also has a daughter called Quinn Jackson. Who was she and who was her mother? I actually can't remember her.
  12. I actually think Kyle and Tamara have strong chemistry, as opposed to Tamara and Casey.
  13. Yes did she say that Irene would have storylines. We have to be patient considering the current episodes that aired in Australia were filmed in late January, so we might see more things after she makes her return from overseas with Leah.
  14. Yes it was Mud. Mud's death was caused by Dodge in the end, despite everyone thinking he died in the bushfire.
  15. Kieran and Sally's wedding took place in episode 2854 and it aired in Australia on June 15, 2000. Pre-wedding was episode 2853, wedding was in episode 2854 and post-wedding was episode 2855. Thank you so much, Jezz You are the best, lol! I can remember these episodes when I was watching H&A back in 2000. Is Episode 2855 the one when everyone remember their memories in the main house, right? No worries Yes Episode 2855 is when all the original characters reminisce about the past and it brings interesting references from The Early Years. After that, a new era begins with the Sutherland family arriving and living in the Summer Bay house.

  17. I also asked the same question as you a few weeks ago, but there was no response so it's unclear whether the two actresses are related or not. I hope someone knows the answer.
  18. Thanks for providing the links. Nicolle Dickson is one of the best actresses the show has ever had. I loved her playing Bobby. I hope Nicolle can pop up on Neighbours at some point. She's never been on the show before, but I think she's gone down a completely different career path now so it's very unlikely.
  19. I think we're up to the end of episode 860 in the 'Early Years' that are currently airing on 7Two.
  20. Part of what can get me is when you think about how you watched characters as teenagers, then think what age are they now, oh, they're 40! Yes I can understand where you guys are coming from. It freaks me out that Steven and Dodge would now be 40, and the likes of Lance, Martin, Carly and if Bobby was alive would now be 43-45 years of age. Even recently, it feels weird knowing that the likes of Nick, Seb, Ric are now in their mid to late 20s.
  21. Yes Ailsa did say that, but I believe we won't see her on-screen ever again. Don't forget about Martha, Alf's first wife as well even though she never appeared on-screen because she died in 1985. No she appeared in flashbacks in 1988. Yes you're quite right. That was during the time when Bobby was finding out about her parents.

  23. She's one of my favourite characters from the early years. It's going to be 20 years in August since she died so where have the times gone? I think Bobby's death had a huge impact on the show in general, as you could see her absence in 1994 when the show was in a transitional period. It was only in 1995, where the show was clearly starting to establish itself in a new era. Bobby's appearance on the fridge is still memorable after all these years.
  24. Excellent post! I think you've hit the nail on the head in regards to the mental health issues Ailsa had during her time on show. Her overall departure was disappointing, but I was glad she was brought back in early 2003 when Alf was having a brain tumour, as I think the writers thought that Ailsa's final appearance should be a memorable one. You knew that after that storyline concluded, Ailsa would never been seen again.
