  1. No worries, you can find it on Dailymotion.
  2. That was episode 5612
  3. I know that this is a long shot but is Terri Haddy have any relation to the late Anne Haddy who played Helen Daniels on Neighbours?
  4. Well there were rumours that there would be a follow up storyline after both Steven and Dodge jumped off the cliff, but it never eventuated to anything, and hence I think the storyline has been left open and uncertain to viewers Excellent post. I think they could do it, but yes it'd need to have a 'purpose' as you say.
  5. The first point you made was interesting and similar to one my friend who is also a big Home and Away fan. I was asking this friend of mine about Dodge and whether his fate should be revealed, and he said the idea of us (the viewer) not knowing whether Dodge was alive or not was realistic as the world can be a place filled with uncertainty, and the idea of us not knowing what happened to him just makes the storyline and the character himself more memorable. Interestingly enough it seems like Kelly Dingwall/Dale hasn't been acting since 1997 according to IMDB, so the idea of him returning is not likely. When was he a guest on 'THE BIG BREAKFAST'?
  6. She may have, but it's very hard to remember if she did or not.
  7. Well Dodge knew Sally very well, especially from 1989 and it's a known fact that they hated each other, and Dodge also knew Alf pretty well, and I'm sure Irene still would have been affected by the betrayal that Dodge demonstrated to her considering Dodge murdered Mud. Somehow, the writers could have easily said that Sarah and Dodge were friends or even lovers and explained it in that manner. To me, Dodge mainly had a problem with Steven in 1995, but in 1989 he was more involved with the whole Fletcher family and the Summer Bay community in general.
  8. This is a thread where we can discuss arguably the most memorable villain of the 'Early Years'. He's none other than Brian 'Dodge' Forbes! He appeared in 1989 for about 4 months and then later returned in 1995 for about six weeks which included his disappearance for a period of time. Ever since then we are unsure of whether Dodge is alive or not and whether the writers should bring him back or at least acknowledge his fate as his last appearance is still surrounded by mystery. I know this is a bit out there, but I believe Dodge would have been better suited to being the 'Summer Bay Stalker' in 2005 as opposed to Zoe Mcallister, as this would have created shocks and could have brought back so many old viewers to the show. Anyway, the questions I pose to users of the forum is: 1). Should Dodge return to the show or at least have his fate be acknowledged at some point, or should his fate remain unsolved in the future? 2). Had things been different, would Dodge been perfect for the role as the 'Summer Bay Stalker' instead of Zoe, and if so, was this a missed opportunity by the writers to end the mystery surrounding his fate? 3). What do you think is Dodge's fate? Is he alive or dead? 4). If Dodge is alive, what would be a good way to explain his survival, presuming he ever returned to the show? Dodge's return in 1995. 9. In 2008 when Tom appeared as a ghost. I just watched it to make sure and yes you're right, she was mentioned in 2008 when Tom came back as a ghost briefly.
  10. Yeah I said that too. It would be nice! I agree! It would be nice too! And see him get some scenes with Dex and April, and see how he reacts to Dex's accident... Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd presume that he'd be aware of Dex's accident due to his regular contact with Gina and John. Librarian Note: Spoiler tags added to original post and this post.
  11. If Kyle was 11 when Danny went to jail, he'd be about 23-24 years old since Danny went to prison in 2000.
  12. What I find interesting is the fact that although he's a Braxton he's not a River Boy, so there's a disconnect there already with the other brothers because to them it's pretty much the same thing. Obviously Heath, Brax and Casey are very close but it's not really a normal brotherly relationship, a lot of it come from being part of this bigger gang. Also, from what we know, Kyle was on his own dealing with Danny, whereas the others had each other when Danny took off. Kyle is used to looking out for just himself, now he's trying to be a part of this bigger family but obviously still has the instincts he grew up with. So there's some similarities between them, but also some pretty major differences. Which makes it interesting to see. I find his sudden love for Tamara kind of odd, although I think they might actually make a nice couple. She's been nothing but mean to him for long enough. She's barely civil to him for a few days and BAM! he loves her? I do wish they'd have him interact with some other characters though. Is he ever not in the restaurant or at home? Also, just a quick question, what do we know about Kyle's past? I missed the episodes where he was introduced, so I'm not sure of anything other than he's Danny's son with someone else. And the other week when offering to tutor Tamara he said something about being in foster care either until he was 11, or since he was 11? Is that all we know? Kyle was in foster care, but I can't remember at what age, but he did finish his HSC when he was under foster care which suggests that he had a good influence around him, until he was drawn back into Danny's life. We're unaware of why he was in foster care in the first place, and we have no idea what's happened to his mother. There's plenty to explore with Kyle.
  13. No worries Merlin.
  14. Yes he's the same person. He's uploaded pics on his Facebook of what he does.
  15. Mod Edit: Please note that spoilers should not be posted in Character Actor Discussion Threads
  16. Does anyone know if Dodge and Sally interacted in 1995. I can't remember the two having scenes after Dodge returned to Summer Bay in 1995.
  17. This is off-topic I know, but Nic Westaway and Rhiannon Fish are going to be special guests at a nightclub I know nearby in Melbourne. I'm thinking of receiving their autographs and a photo.
  18. I think Rosie is still a guest character, not a regular at the moment.
  19. Hmm...interesting, maybe she has a relapse
  20. I actually think it's better that they don't interact together for a while. If I was Casey, I'd find it hard to talk to Kyle considering what happened in the desert. I wouldn't exactly be forgiving even if he's changed his ways, so I think it's realistic that they don't interact very often. Yes that would be good. But I don't want them to totally HATE each other. If today's anything to go by, I don't think they totally hate each other, but I don't reckon they'll be best mates either for a long time.

  22. Tamara on our screens right now and Sophie's daughter Tamara are two different people. It's just coincidental that they have the same name. From memory's Sophie's daughter was SORAS'ed by two or three years. So now her character would be about 23 or 24 years old.
  23. Very interesting to hear that Kyle has finished school a few years ago. I actually didn't expect that, but there you go. I also found it interesting that he succeeded in school during his time in foster care. His backstory is very interesting and there's plenty more to explore in my opinion. I'd love to know what happened to his mother and what dragged him back into Danny's life.
  24. That was "Boys Will Be Boys" by Choirboys from thier 1988 album Big Bad Noise available on Itunes Thanks for that It's one of my favourite songs I've heard in the Diner.
  25. There was one song that used to have the lyrics 'boys will be boys' and it used to be on frequently played around 1989, especially when Dodge was around. Does anyone know the name of the artist or what the song was called? It was one of my favourite songs in the Diner.
