Olivia Fraser Richards - Raechelle Banno
Jezz replied to dontletmego's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
James was the executor of Chloe's will, so he was legally bound to exercise Chloe's wishes. I cannot recall why he didn't get involved sooner and clarify why Diana wasn't entitled to custody because this had overridden any outcome in the mediation process between Diana and Irene. It was expressly stated in Chloe's will that Diana was not to get custody of Olivia under any circumstances if she was to pass away before Olivia turned 16. I would assume that Chloe stated in the will that James would get custody though it wasn't expressly stated. James was the only other close blood relative of Olivia other than Diana or Max (her father who was in jail) that we were aware of. If James didn't want to take on Olivia, there's every chance Irene could have gained custody in that circumstance. -
Evelyn "Evie" MacGuire - Philippa Northeast

No doubt she was one of the most tortured characters in the show's history. At least she got a happy ending with Matt. -
He was always a good musician. I remember him being on "It takes Two" about 10-15 years ago and he formed a rock band called 'Falcon Road'. Never say never. I remember asking Mark on Instagram if he would ever return to the show, but he joked that he doubts Ric would be alive today because of his short temper ?

Agree. The show is crying out for closure when it comes to Morag. Always loved her character, but I actually thought her best years were in the mid-2000s. She mellowed compared to the 80s but she still had a hard edge about her that never went away.

Eve "Zoe McCallister" Jacobsen - Emily Perry

I don't think she did. She was determined to get revenge out of a misguided justice for Sarah Lewis. -

Been re-watching old clips recently involving the Stalker and it's still a great watch after all these years. Like others, I always wonder what Emily is up to these days. -
^ I can remember him appearing in an episode in 2006, when Ric was working as the school janitor (he dropped out and wasn't working at Moran Motors at this stage). It's a shame that they killed off Axel. I thought there was still a lot to explore with him.

Loved the character of Charlotte. A multi-layered character who's downfall was fascinating to watch, but I think with her being the main story of the second half of 2015 it meant that the show went through a resurgence during that period of time, when the first half of 2015 was notably average. I don't think she was an inherently bad person, but bad decisions mainly through the motivation of protecting Hunter had manifested itself and things spiralled out of control very quickly. Great character who left a lasting impact on other characters. Still love re-watching old episodes when she was on.

That turned out to be a misleading headline, with the benefit of hindsight. Chris remained on the show for only nine months after this news had come to light.

Drew's stint on the show was short, but he was on the forefront for most of 2007 so a lot of storylines were given to him in a short space of time. It started with his introduction as Peter's long-lost son. Then, a pyromaniac was trying to frame him for a series of arson attacks around the town to force Peter out of witness protection (unbeknownst to Draw). He started a relationship with Belle and later cheated on her with Amanda (Belle's mother). Then Peter "returned from the dead". In 2007, he got together with Lisa Duffy but he always had aspirations to get back together with Belle which he did eventually but this meant a huge strain was created with Lucas who was dating Belle at the time. Then his old boarding school friend, Jules arrived in the Bay. Then, Drew dropped out of High School which caused Jazz to arrive in Summer Bay. Jazz's arrival sparked Jules' departure after a long-held secret between the two, and eventually Drew moved out of Leah and Dan's place to move in with Jazz. Drew then purchased a car and started modifying it with stolen car parts courtesy of Dom Moran. This in turn then got him into the drag racing scene which caused him further problems. After the drag racing scene was over, things calmed down for a little while for Drew until Dom was released from jail and started stalking Belle. In 2008, Drew decided to go back to High School, but soon after Dan died off-screen and he subsequently had a massive fight with Belle ending their relationship permanently. Drew then decided to move to the city to live with Peter and Amanda and that's the last we've heard from him. It's odd that most of this happened nearly 10 years ago, yet I remember it so well. I must admit, I was pretty addicted to the show at that time.

Darryl 'Brax' Braxton - Steve Peacocke
Jezz replied to dncllpyk's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
I was very disappointed with the way Brax gave up in the end! The decision to plead 'not guilty' just seemed pointless in hindsight especially since he gave up fighting after Ash and received a 20 year jail sentence when this could have been reduced to 8 years had he just pleaded guilty initially. For a pivotal character of the last few years I was vastly disappointed by how this ended for Brax! -
He spoke about it recently in episodes that aired in Australia last week but I think it would have been obvious to most that Cheryl was receiving some assistance from her sons (especially Brax).
-
I suppose over time Cheryl has begun to tolerate Kyle more as he's settled into the Braxton household and established himself as one of the Braxtons who can be trusted and respected. Its true that Cheryl disliked Kyle but I think a lot of that hatred towards Kyle was more to do with an underlying hatred of Danny Braxton rather than directly at Kyle himself but Kyle was a reminder of Danny's conniving ways when he was married to Cheryl. It would have been nice to see how the civility between one another has developed in the past two years ago. Kyle will presumably continue assisting Cheryl financially simply for the reason that Brax has been doing so for a number of years and he wants to carry on with those duties even if Brax can no longer do this task himself.
-
Well with Brax going to jail, Heath living in the city and Casey dead all her children are no longer living in Summer Bay. Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see her again however I hope we get to see her meet her unborn grandson soon and she can still be involved in the Braxton household even in a minor role. After all Kyle is still going to assist her financially even with Brax gone now.

We aren't suppose to remember that... I have a question. Who is the father of Tasha's baby if Jonah is sterile? I've always felt this was a retcon that wasn't thought through 100% or is there a genuine answer? There isn't 100% certainty with this but it's either Robbie or a member of the Believers Cult other than Jonah (Michael).

Nathaniel "Nate" Cooper - Kyle Pryor
Jezz replied to AznPride112's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
There's been various sources saying 25 or 31, but personally I think he's 31. -
I remember Leo and Toni and the storyline they had back in 2001. I enjoyed it! Thanks for the update Dan!

Beth left to go overseas on January 30 2007 (Episode 4342) which happened to be her last on-screen appearance. She then died off-screen when returning home to Summer Bay from the airport on April 23 2007 (Episode 4400).
-
I understand what you're saying but I don't think the writers or producers would have killed Beth off so soon after Sally was stabbed in the 2006 finale two weeks before Beth's departure to go overseas to see Scott and Hayley in Paris and later Robbie and Tasha in Boston. It was disappointing that Beth left the show as I always thought she had potential to be a long-term character like Leah and Irene for example but it wasn't to be sadly. I might be wrong but I think Clarissa wanted to leave and return to Melbourne so TPTB were backed into a corner as a result of her decision to leave. While her death occurring off-screen was somewhat disappointing for some I still thought the grieving scenes with the Hunter family and Tony were extremely well done. It took Tony a long time to move on from Beth and Mattie was affected by her mother's death for a number of months and didn't truly start moving on properly from about 2008 onwards yet it still lingered up until her departure realising how much her mother's death had left a hole in her life. Could Beth's death been executed in a better and effective way? Possibly but I think the way it played out it was still very good and very emotional for viewers. Hard to believe we're coming up to eight years since she died. It doesn't feel that long ago!

Yes that definitely jogs my memory after seeing that image but it still feels strange I couldn't remember her initially. Thanks for the character profile updates of Scott, Adrian and the Red Barron! It's strange how I remember Benny Barron well who appeared in two episodes yet I can't remember Pia initially .
-
Thanks for the latest uploads Dan. It's strange but I've had a brain lapse in remembering Pia when she was on-screens even if the actress is somewhat familiar to me! It's completely blocked out of memory weirdly enough.

The site is running very well as there's a noticeable improvement since it went offline the other day. Thanks for your efforts Chris and Dan

So far so good from my end. The speeds have increased slightly.

I'm getting this increased feeling that Kyle is really going to step up this year as the head of the Braxton household especially if Brax is sent to jail with the way things are transpiring for him at the moment with his future. The way he did some digging on Kat's past was priceless and had her very rattled.

It's been slow for about two weeks now for everyone. Chris and Dan are doing everything to get to the bottom of the current problem.
