Nathaniel "Nate" Cooper - Kyle Pryor

^ They won't string it out that long. I'm certain it will be weeks rather than months. -
I think Emily is looking more beautiful than ever at the moment. She is radiant!

Yes, I find him a lot better than Hayden. I really enjoy his banter with Blake!
-
No problem! Yes "Angelo's" has a nice big verandah now so I wonder if we will see that reflected on the show? I hope so!

I have been hanging for Shane's arrival in TEY eps too! The Shane years are my favourite era of the show aside from the current episodes, largely because of him! I remember buying my first ever gossip mag because he was on the front cover - He was everyone's school girl crush back in the day! Can't wait to relive these episodes! He certainly made a bad first impression on Alf! Hilarious!

This is how the extension is looking as of September. There is still plenty of scaffolding around but the upstairs level is well and truly up and close to being finished!

I really loved this too! It is probably my favourite Tamara scene. Kyle put so much on the line for her, and it was only fitting that she finally acknowledge and appreciate all he did for her! One of her most thoughtful moments and definitely her most likeable moment for me.

^ Yes, we can safely add him to the ever growing list of Mangrove River parents who don't value education!
-
After today's episode, we now know he has a dad. If Matt's dad is anything like the other Mangrove River dads we know (Danny Braxton, Johnny Barrett and Alan Henderson) he will not be winning any fatherhood awards any time soon....but he might buck the trend, who knows? The mention of it being his dad who was answering the phone, leads me to think that his mum may no longer be around.

Darryl 'Brax' Braxton - Steve Peacocke

I don't think they have isolated him from the community. He runs the only restaurant in town - Angelo's is a central meeting point for all of the residents, so he has contact with the whole town frequently. He has also employed a number of Summer Bay residents to work at Angelo's during his time on the show. - Liam, Indi, Xavier, Tamara.... He is friends with Leah and has looked out for VJ at various stages. He has a good relationship with his next door neighbour John Palmer these days and they have helped each other out a few times this year - John helping Brax record Adam's confession and Brax helping with Gina's wake, giving John and Jett free meals and organising Jett's first date. Brax is friendly with Zac and they have each helped each other out with family issues this year a few times. With both Casey and Kyle doing stints at the Caravan Park this year, Brax has had a bit to do with both Alf and Roo. Alf and Roo have run to Brax a couple of times this year asking him to watch over Casey and Kyle. They all bonded together in the hospital after Maddie and Casey's car crash as well. Brax has had plenty to do with all medical staff due to his and his family's many trips to the hospital. And the school principal is his sister in law. Having said all that, I don't think Brax will become a long term character. I get the feeling that Steve wants to work on other projects and I think Brax would lose a lot of what makes him a great character without Casey and Heath around. I really hope he is still around long into next year though! -
I think people are referring to their trip to the city, not her last night. Her last wish of things she wanted to do before she died was to "be" with Blake. They wanted to go away so they could be alone and grant this last wish. The adults were initially opposed to the idea but they eventually came around and allowed them to go.

I agree with you! I always thought Kyle and Tamara had a lot more chemistry than Casey and Tamara. I actually like Tamara a lot more when she is with Kyle. She seems more natural or something. And he was so patient and gentle with her, it was nice! I feel for Kyle too! Having said that, I think I have become so annoyed with her stringing both the brothers along throughout her indecisiveness and emotional confusion, that I am honestly happy that Kyle is no longer with her. He deserves so much better! I just wish she would stay away from Casey too. I think she is in DESPERATE need of some time on her own! We haven't ever been told but I personally think Kyle is around 23/24. I'm pretty sure the only Braxton brother age we know for certain is Casey- he is 19. I tend to think: Brax is 31/32, Heath is 28/29, Kyle 23/24 and Casey is 19.

I feel so conflicted about this! On one hand I desperately want him to stay but at the same time I would so love to see him achieve great success outside of the show! -

Couldn't agree more! -
I think it was The Someloves- How She Loves.

Kyle's profile states that: "By his mid-teens, Kyle’s mother was gone and he was set up with a foster family" I've mentioned this before, but the ambiguous use of the word "gone" leads me to think that Kyle's mother may actually still be alive.... I think it is possible that she may pop up one day. I live in hope of a Cheryl vs Kyle's mum showdown!

It makes perfect sense to me and I too find Kyle intriguing and interesting. He has always had a bit of a mysterious vibe about him and 6 months on it still lingers. He is not at all predictable and it's hard to anticipate where they will take this character. I think they have done a good job creating a character that has glimpses of all of his brothers but is very different at the same time. A lost floater who never quite fits in anywhere, no matter how hard he tries. I do wonder if we will ever see his famous "desert temper" rear it's ugly head again or is all that anger buried now that he has found stability and direction? Is dark Kyle gone for good? Regardless, I hope that now he is with Tamara, we will benefit from her guaranteed urge to discover more about the mysterious man she is falling In love with. I hope that we learn more about him as they begin to "learn" each other.

We have never been told as far as I can remember, but I tend to think he is closer in age to Casey than Heath. I would estimate about 22/23 but that is purely speculating.

I think that Heath is lucky that he has had Brax looking out for him his whole life and it is thanks to Brax's influence that he currently in the position he is in. In the two years that they have been on the show, every time Heath has gone directly against Brax's wishes/advice he has ended up in serious trouble or caused serious problems. Taking off with Jake's pills, smashing Hammer's car, striking up deals with Geoffrey King, pursuing the release of Danny from prison, challenging for legal custody of Darcy etc etc etc. It is because of Brax that Heath was able to make the break away from drug dealing. Brax made it clear to him that he wanted Heath to stop and Heath on the most part has followed this request. He made it clear to Hayley when he supplied her with drugs that Brax would be extremely angry if he found out. Brax also helped him during his rocky introduction to fatherhood. Preventing him from reacting badly at the hospital when Bianca and Rocco were both sick and encouraging Heath to spend time at Irene's when they returned home. Brax confided in Leah that one of his big motivations for keeping Danny away from his brothers was his worry about the negative impact that Danny would have on Heath's relationship with Rocco. Brax has not always been able to keep Heath out of trouble but I believe he has tried his best on most occasions.
