  1. I'll always defend 1994 because it seemed like everyone genuinely happier and there were belly laughs galore (Jack/Fisher bedroom incident, Rob, Roxy and the overheated lift, Waterbedgate, Sleepwalking Irene, Sarah: "I look like Ronald McDonald and Shirley Temple rolled into one!") and there was *some* drama (Ross seperation, Year 12 cheat week arc, Shane/Ros)
  2. I'd actually like to see a Lego H&A Mockumentary ala Piece by Piece (Best Lego film to date)
  3. 1994 was a year where Alf had QUITE a few comedic mishaps bad back, waterbed, Nick bending his putter ("the first time he lends the flamin' thing!"), Christmas Tree catching aflame, etc
  4. Yup. Roo bombed her HSC but still managed to end up working for the Macklins.
  5. Tbf Palmer *does* talk twaddle sometimes! But yeah Alf can go overboard. Mind you Maz is still on his Jock at times also, Poor JP can't get a break. He will bite back now and then though
  6. The sinking car stunt by Shane was hilarious tbf.
  7. Bloody Nerida.... And NDH *really* needs to invest in armed guards with all the snatched babies, gangsters (who deserved it) murdered in their beds, drugging, med thrft and whatnot down the years!
  8. I'm watching UK pace too, just on another platform.
  9. Maybe Vic's leading a double life, cop by day barman by night or whenever "Yeah, Mel. Can you mind the bar, I've gotta pop out." Yup. With the promos. (Seen for myself)
  10. As long as Israel Cannan ain't singin', It's fine.
  11. And the door closes on 2024 predictably with Consrable Newman in some kind of Doo-Doo...
  12. "I'm afraid Miss Crawford, that Your bag of tricks is rather empty now, isn't it?" *smug Joker-esque grin from the ep she called that Boys' school for Sam, followed by Freeze-Frame and Lois with a face like a slapped arse*
  13. I'm watching on my usual "Unorthodox" source and portioning up that triple in thirds
  14. Talking of Cornelia, she guested in an ep of the Ferals
  15. Should have used one of the unused mobile homes as a bait shop (if any are left) I've seen old buses repurchased as Barbershops/Salons/etc
  16. They lost a bidding war in 2007 and flat out rejected it in 2022, so I'm not holding out hope. They'd would rather bother with gameshows and news.
  17. "Alf's Bait and Bits; what can I do for ya?" *Someone buying Scotch at 10am* "Hogan's Ghost! It's bit early for THAT kinda caper?" "No Credit! Not one Brass Razoo!" "I don't care if you're the flamin' queen of Sheba! I wanna see some ID or otherwise you can put that back and getcha self a soft drink instead!" "Me old man swore by these, nearly landed himself "The General" in '58." (Things that may have been said to customers when it was a bottle/bait/boat shop )
  18. People who dabble in that stuff have a hard time letting it go completely.
  19. Cash is officially sucking the life out the show now. In real life he'd be staring down the barrel of a P45.
  20. I'm More disappointed than angry this this time. As I said before at least I still have a use for Amazon unlike Channel 5 (shopping) At least it gets to live a little longer instead of everything being rushed like last time. It's really too bad because it's been making most of the other soaps look like well... S*** for the last year (except EE) or so.
  21. It's the hypocrisy when she was giving him s*** for riding it a while back. The Alf/Bait Shop stuff made me think "Now That's Home and Away"
  22. Cash is getting on my nerves now.
  23. If I had $5m and lived in Summer Bay, see ya!
  24. Early Adam straddled the line between good-hearted layabout and tool.
  25. Jeez, even the Sunroom at Wendy's in the U.S. was fancier!
