  1. Sadly when you have a rep of "Costcutter/7-11 Mouth", it sticks!
  2. Yup. Tane even sneezes wrong boom, right down Yabbie Creek Nick.
  3. Yeah if we "Irene it up a little" (Hannah and Andy in particular)
  4. GFR to a few of them, tbh. Oh and Kyle threw himself on the cross for Isla relatively soon after. 2016 seemed like an "enema" year.
  5. Some people don't get happy afters (Will and Gypsy sure as hell didn't, nor did Alex Poulos and Brodie Hanson and a few others and Frank and Roo collapsed within two years off screen) It is possible for people to have long marriages and be happy (some forum members have folks who've been together Donkey's years) There are some things in soaps and in life where you just have to go "Ah, Eff it. " and roll with it. At least they didn't meet in a Kebab queue and shoot off on a cruise together and pretty much marry within weeks ala Vincent Hubbard and Kim Fox on EastEnders
  6. Easy, don't blow a gasket now. You seem to have an axe to grind with a lot of the 20-something males in TEY.
  7. Tbf, Ric wasn't wrong. Anyhow, Yet it was fine for C5 to use it in their own homegrown soap Family Affairs... That Mark clown who Lilly (for good reason) detested.
  8. His sort generally are.
  9. Bottomline is it was cut. ITV had a chronic habit as the decade came to a Close (and for far far tamer). Channel 5 were a bit more Liberal and the word was used as such concerning Alex Poulos in one drag race. The only time I've seen dialogue muted is on some Coronation Street and Emmerdale repeats. As for bleeping nope.
  10. Good thing too, Neighbours has always been an "easy target" even at its height, that's the last thing they needed! Now I'm thinking of Christian Clark (flop as Will/Sebastian in Neighbours but a hit as Penn in H&A) coming back to ultimately lie face down after Penn washed up on the beach.
  11. I'm just imagining Don saying all of Vader's lines right now and actually cutting off Alan's hand (He had a habit of pushing buttons)
  12. Elaine Smith (Known to a generation of kids as Daph on Neighbours and had a brief stint in H&A in the mid Zeroes as a Cop's wife) by her own admission found playing Daphne's coma scenes in 1988 reasonably easy (her interview from the 10th anniversary vid) Others when the Director finally yells "Cut!" are like "It's over, TFFT!"
  13. Most people who suggest/choose being killing off feel like: A)It'd cement their character's legacy B) Bored, Had Enough and Want Out (Nicola Duffett and Linda Hartley of EE and Neighbours fame, respectively for example) C) Freed up to do other things w/o the temptation of returning D) Think it's the only *realistic* end to their character's arc.
  14. That was hacked out by ITV.
  15. Did anyone ever have any *good* flashbacks of that guy?! (I had to get that out)
  16. £1 = sub $2 (but pound's been weak a while)
  17. Very and those filming hours... Dawn til Dusk in most cases... jeez
  18. ^Jesus, Milco in his hobo days!
  19. "When I find the Galah who locked me in here, They're gonna be in more flamin' strife than Flash Gordon!"
  20. Seems like you get out there a fair bit, Dan.
  21. Oof, is all I have to say.
  22. Knowing the producers, she could be turn nout to be another Booth brat but that would make Mrs Fowler condemning Jimmy hypocritical lol (Soaps have a habit of this!)
  23. The Wentworth Prison interiors were repurposed for Warrinor (Men's Prison) on Neighbours from 2000-05
  24. Probably fight for 10 minutes, realise it's pointless and both get a beer
