I loved, loved, loved this fic. so much! My stomach hurts from all the laughter. The funniest bit had to be, Her world turned black, her body lay limp and her heart beat began to slow down. The only thing that kept her connected to the world was the plate in her right hand, and her determination to stop his muffin touching the floor. That is such a Colleen-like thing to do; see the importance in the little things. Through all the humour, however, I did feel a little bit sorry for Colleen when he says, Jack nodded, “Yea, but I wanted to buy a certain special woman a drink this morning...Martha." And then Colleen's heart breaks. Peter coming in at the end was a twist of pure comic genius! Great work, Nicole!

Jade?! Awww, I can't believe this is nearly over. I know I haven't commented 'til now, but I've read everything and enjoyed it a lot!

35 degrees is icky. I went to the Caribbean one Christmas and it was so hot. I actually thought I was gonna die. 26 degrees is positively tropical here!

Britain to bask in mini-heatwave Britons are set to bask in a mini-heatwave this weekend with temperatures reaching as high as 26C (79F) in some parts of the country. Forecasters said they expected the heat to rise around 10 degrees above the seasonal average over the next few days. Much of the UK has enjoyed warm conditions over the Easter weekend and the sunshine will continue thanks to high pressure close to Britain. Weatherman Daniel Adamson said: "It will be very warm for the time of year, both Saturday and Sunday. It may not be wall to wall sunshine, but there will be a lot of sunshine and it will be very pleasant. "We will have high temperatures across the South East, London and the surrounding counties to the west. The dry weather is due to high pressure close to and around the UK for the last few weeks. "It's started to drift east but is pulling even warmer air from the continent." Source Yay! Summer's here.

I think I must like Rocco/Sally together more than I realise 'cos I was re-reading the fic. earlier and I just wanted to tell Brad to back off and leave Salco in peace.
-
^^ Oh, thank goodness for that! I totally don't get all the JM hype, to be honest. But anyway, looking forward to the next update. xxx

Although, the one criticism I have of this story is that it makes the Home and Away writers be even more lacking! It'd be so cool if they'd got together in the show - they'd be the new Jack and Martha. And far more interesting, too, in my opinion. *hides* I love it!

I love this fic. so much! I watch Home and Away at UK pace and Rocco's living at Sally's at the moment and since reading your fic. I can so imagine the relationship between them. Evil Johnny, getting in the way of everything! *glares* Great fic., keep it up!

Hey jeh-jeh! Yeah, it's so sweet and romantic... I meant way back into love, but Pop goes my heart is pretty catchy, isn't it? I adore it! I'm impatiently waiting for it to come out on DVD. Hugh Grant = And Way Back Into Love and Don't Write Me Off (the one that he wrote for her) are the cutest songs - ever! Okay, I'll shut up now.
-
I guess. Argh, I want the sun. Damn it! I get grouchy after months of freezing, can you tell?
-
20 degrees and you're cold?! It's not sunny here, which sucks - I really wanted to sunbathe today. :[ It's just kinda misty and muggy. Hopefully the mist will burn off later.

Is it just me or did Sally call Morag "Aunty Morag" tonight? Near the beginning of the episode, where Morag coms back in and Ric apologises and then Sally backs him up and I'm sure she says "Aunty".
-
Hehe! I'm exactly like that when we're on holiday - last night I finally called it a night at like 2am, and then Dad woke me up at 8am before he went to work. Not good! Yep, my name is indeed Jess. Nothing fancy about it. Edit: Timezones still baffle my poor little brain. I still can't get my head around the fact that it's the early hours of the morning there and 17:23 here.

Lol, it's okay...I'm just rubbish at explaining myself. It depends what's causing the pain. If it's just that your mouth hurts 'cos your brace is tight and nothing's rubbing, then wax won't do much. You've just got to ride it out and wait for your mouth to adjust to the added pressure. If, however, the pain is due to the fact that your brace is rubbing on your gums and making your mouth sore, then if you get a little bit of soft wax and put it over the nasty bits of the brace so the edges aren't so sharp anymore, or whatever, then that should help things.
-
Rosey, sorry - I didn't make myself very clear! Not literally put a whole candle in your mouth, but get some candle wax and melt it 'til it's soft and put that over the bits that are rubbing if your orthodontist didn't give you any wax. Obviously, it's not the ideal solution but if you're in pain then it's better than nothing.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, Amber. I've just read this fic through from the beginning, yes, it took a long time , but it was so worth it 'cos it's so good! I'm not a huge Jack/Martha fan - in fact, I pretty much hate them *ducks and hides* - but I love this fic 'cos it's not the usual series of break up - makeups that we usually have to put up with. And you've actually written them with chemistry! (I sound so surprised because, in my humble opinion, they have no chemistry whatsoever on the show - hence why I don't like them). Update when you can.
-
Didn't they give you any wax to put over the metal bits that are rubbing? I know we get it over here - if it carries on hurting, maybe you should go back and see if they'll give you some. Or, you could melt a bit of a candle and put that in your mouth when it's pliable. I often did that in times of desperation!
-
Awww, Rosey! Is it just sore or is it rubbing your gums, too? I was given orthodontic wax to stop it rubbing, and if it's just general pain then I'm pretty sure it will've gone down by tomorrow. I remember when I had mine it killed for the first day and then after that it was okay. Grr, I hate orthodontists, but the result at the end when you have your braces off is totally worth it. You have perfect, straight teeth.

Wow! You guys are so lucky! Although, last summer (August, I think) I went to France and it got up to 34 degrees celcius and it was so unbelievably hot. I couldn't walk on the patio paving 'cos it was burning my feet.

At First Sight with Val Kilmer and Mira Sorvino. It's such a sad film; it never fails to make me cry my eyes out.
-
^^ Hmm, I dunno. I saw it on GMTV this morning. I guess either of the departures would have a big impact on the show.
-
^^ I feel so hypocritical because I hate it, too, when other people do it. But when the "urge" comes, I just have to do it, no matter what people say.

Alli, the same thing happens with me, but with my knees. I read today that it's a big myth - it doesn't actually give you arthritis. They've done studies on it, apparently. Besides, it hurts me more if I don't do it! My joints go all weird...
