Thanks to everyone for writing such nice comments. I'm hoping to update soon, but I want to finish writing the story so that I can make sure that it all flows together properly (because I tend to change my mind a lot as I write). Once I've finished, there should be regular updates until the end.

Because I have? I've been trying to get the character of Claire right, so it fits in with things that happen later on, and the reasons for the problems between her and Kane. Which you will find out "soon". Haha.

Great ending, I'm looking forward to the next instalment. I liked the way you brought matches into it from the earlier incident. Hope you have a great holiday.

Yeah umm sorry about that. I had a different story idea and got a bit distracted... And it seems wrong to be inside when its sunny.

Just remember, sometimes the exam you think went the worse went the best and vice versa, so it might not have gone as badly as you think.

I've written a bit more, but I'm not sure I'm happy with it at the moment. My problem is I usually feel like writing late in the evening when I should be sleeping. Also I have several ideas for different stories, so I sort of jump around between them. It makes it slow going...

Well just make sure you keep writing (especially about Kane). I'm always pleased when I see you have updated your fics. Not to mention that Kane fics are a bit thin on the ground nowadays.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm working on writing some more, but I've been distracted by Facebook and the fact that my friends have decided it would be a great idea to get flights on a budget airline and go to a different country for a day!

That was great! Big surprise about Uncle Jason, but made all Angie's actions make sense. I think you did a great job of suggesting how Angie might have become as twisted as she did. And I loved the weather forecast in the news article, v. amusing!

That was good. But how did Angie get the blood on her face? I presume funeral attendants do come and knock on the door because they come and get you from the house, and otherwise you might not realise they had arrived!

Ha ha! That's one in the eye to all the Kane bashers/Angie lovers! Very original story, I think the first two chapters were my favourites. It's good that there are still fics on this site that aren't about Martha/Jack/Matilda etc. (not that there is anything wrong with them, I'm sure, I'm just not interested in the characters.

Poor Angie! I hope you continue to write, I'm enjoying this.

I'll be happy to read anything you write about Kane Not so bothered about Angie - but that's just because I didn't really watch the character. I like all your stuff, but I think you do kids very well. My favourite of your stories is Always and Forever. So cute but so sad as well.

I like the way you think about how children think about things differently - like the number/brain bit when the man killed himself. But yuck about the mouse!
