Two Months later Riley was in a counselling session with Tess after Brenda French, Tess's counsellor, had called him last week to join this week's session. The week before Ben had been released from goal. "How are you feeling about Ben been out Tess?" Brenda asked. Tess squeezed her boyfriend's hand. "Scared okay, I'm still scared Riley will leave me," Tess replied glancing at her boyfriend. "Tess, I'm not going anywhere," Riley whispered then kissed her forehead. Riley glanced at his girlfriend as she drove home. " You want to still go away next weekend?" Riley asked. Tess smiled and nodded. " Sounds fun, I want to spend time with you," Tess replied. Riley wanted to spend a weekend alone with his girlfriend. "Good, we'll have fun, I promise," Riley said. Tess looked at the watch she had bought Riley for his birthday as Jack entered the room. "How's the counselling going?" Jack asked. " Okay. Riley's hanging around, maybe he does really loves me," Tess replied smiling at her brother. "You know he does. I'm surprised he hasn't proposed to you yet," Jack said. Tess was surprised too. She wanted to be Riley's wife. They had been together for over five years. Riley was cooking dinner as Tess put her arms around his waist Tess kissed him softly. "Let's get an early night," Tess whispered. She was in her dressing gown " Sure, baby you tired?" Riley said. Riley pulled the sheet over them as their lips met. Riley was heating up their dinner a few hours later as Tess was in his shirt on the kitchen bench.
