Happy birthday! Great job to keep all of us Home & Away fans up to date!

I have seen the finale and you're right: it shows that Evie's really lost and confused because of what happened to Denny. And she freaked out after the kiss with Andy. I think the aftermath of the kiss is gonna be really interesting.

So sad that Hunter was leaving. First when Hunter came to see Olivia I thought he was gonna tell her everything. I really thought Olivia could stop him. And when Olivia saw the car driving away... Can't wait to see what's gonna happen with them next year!

And last week Evie was also really upset about Oscar and he was missing. So that's a lot to happen for someone in a year. Evie deserves some happiness as well. I do love how they showed the connection between the group of friends (Evie, Oscar, Maddy, Matt, Josh), I really love seeing them hang out and support each other. Philippa has great chemistry with them all!

I just wanted to update this thread by saying that Philippa is doing such an amazing job with her acting. She was great when Josh was about to "die", but also today: Philippa is doing such an amazing job! I really can't wait to see what next year will bring for Evie, it's so sad she has so much drama in her life right now with Denny and she's still feeling guilty about Josh.

Like I said in another thread maybe the writes let it go so quickly for Hunter & Olivia because they might expose what Hunter did? Often there's a reason they're letting things move really quickly for a couple (cause then they will be tested as a couple soon). But I do like Hunter & Olivia as a couple, especially cause Hunter isn't doing crazy things anymore. I really like how they both opened up to each other. You could see Hunter really wanted to react in a good way when Olivia told him everything. They could become another good teen couple (if Hunter's past actions don't catch up with him)!

I don't feel sorry for Oscar. It's his insecurity that made things far worse between him and Maddy. And of course Oscar isn't imagining things cause there is something between Matt & Maddy. But Oscar's the one who - instead of talking to Maddy/Matt honestly and try to figure things out - immediately assumes the worst. He gives up his relationship by kissing Asia while he hasn't even asked Maddy. Just like often in soaps, it's also a communication thing. I do love Matt & Maddy. I kind of understand that Maddy is confused cause she's slowly seing Matt as a love interest instead of just a good friend. She expected Oscar to act differently and I also get that she's disappointed in his reaction. But Maddy was too obvious in today's episode - having a good time with Matt while Oscar could see it all. In the promo for tomorrow it's told that Maddy and Oscar had a fight. I like that Alf tells Maddy to do something cause she's stringing the 2 boys along.

I really like Matt & Maddy as well. They've really grown close this year. Of course it's sad that Oscar would get hurt over this, but I do think Matt & Maddy are way more compatible. Maddy obviously likes Matt as well, otherwise they would've become so close this year. I do think Maddy could realize soon that Matt would be a really good guy for her as well. Oscar & Maddy act more like best friends than a couple. Their romantic moments seem forced sometimes. I love how Matt has become a better person this year: he's more serious and he really cares about the people around him. I do really like him now, I didn't in his "break-down" period after Sasha left. Maddy has also become more mature, mainly because of her cancer. Plus there have been a lot of hints that Matt knows Maddy way better than Oscar does (the Soul Mate Quiz, the violin as a birthday present). So I'd love to see them as a couple. I really think Matt & Maddy could be a really good couple, especially when they get the right storylines. Of course it will be messy in the beginning because of Oscar, but I really think these two have a lot of potential.
