  1. I too liked having a character with glasses but as long as they don't suddenly change her personality i'll be fine with it. I didn't think very much of her at first but this year we have seen more of her personality and who she is when she is hanging out with friends. Not the biggest fan of Olivia but i love their friendship. She is funny and sticks to her values, which is a nice change too. One of the best and most likable characters at the moment in my opinion.
  2. Great chapter once again! Glad that Tamara's call on Andy's phone got through and Kat knew something was wrong. Very poor policing to have that many officers in the city but im really glad Kat was there and called for backup, even if it did take a while. So Josh's attempt to kill Tank didn't work out very well, but im glad that he at least tried, in order to save Evie. Go Tamara though, it's unfortunate that she and Kyle had to effectively put his life on the line to save the others but it certainly did the trick. Hope he gets better in hospital. Really glad he survived. Also really glad Evie hasn't died yet. Poor Evie, having gone through what she has and now, as long as she wakes up it will be a long road to recovery, physically and emotionally. I hope she gets better and that she and Josh will be able to reunite at some point. They have a lot to work through but they're alive and that's the most important thing. I also hope Oscar and Josh will be able to have the friendship they once had. It's not Josh's fault that Tank did what he did. Only one chapter to go... well i look forward to it
  3. Wow Great chapter! Like how you have written a timeline of events. Now we understand how Tank got Evie and why the cops are useless. Oscar should surely know by now that something is up. Poor Phoebe Feel very sorry for Kyle who is slowly dying and had to see his dead ex girlfriends body. Glad Tamara physically seems to be okay. Good job pretending to be blind. Glad she has called Kat. Tamara is the only one who can save them, quickly. Though i don't know how.. maybe she should try to untie Andy quickly. I don't know. But she probably needs to do something else as soon as possible. Or Evie and Kyle will die. Poor Josh and Andy too. While it's good that Tank isn't getting that much of a reaction out of Josh, it's worrying that he has gone into some sort of catatonic state. And Andy, having to tell him what's happening to Evie. Great writing once again, hope everyone will be fine, update soon
  4. Great Chapter! Love a good cliffhanger and this chapter certainly delivered! Poor Josh... and Kyle... and Tamara... and Andy... and ... pretty sure who the girl is... How Tank managed to do all that without the police batting an eye is worrying. Now that Andy can talk he should try to scream to alert the cops. Or do something cause Kyle looks to be in a very bad place, nevermind everyone else. All they need now is for John and Marilyn to come home Not sure if Tank would expect that. Hope someone realizes they are in trouble.. before it's too late. Excellent writing as usual. You certainly know how to write psychopathic Tank, while demonstrating the fears from Josh, Andy and the others well. Look forward to more, update soon
  5. Great Chapter! Glad Tamara's vision problems are finally diagnosed. Wish there was a cure though. Glad she made the decision to tell Josh as soon as possible. Liked that Josh has been boxing. Great release of stress. Ohh i love a good cliffhanger hope the others get home soon, though if Tamara is there i wonder where Kyle is. I understand Josh just wanting to give up and give in; its a lot easier but another persons life is in danger too. And he hasn't come so far to give up now. I'm guessing the police are oblivious to all this. I look forward to more
  6. Great Chapter! Not too good that the cops seem to be jumping to conclusions that Tank is in the city. The city isn't that far away either. Kat believing the opinions of Josh's loved ones (particularly Andy- who she seems to maybe have a crush on... ) over Josh's own credibility isn't great, because as Detective Carson said it put multiple lives in danger and the investigation behind. But she should learn from her mistake, and base her judgments from multiple sources, no matter how believable the statement is or isn't. Still very sad that Josh is so depressed and thinks everyone would be better off if he had died. Very powerful writing, with his inner torment about the way people are treating him, while his physical and mental ability to try to overcome this, stand up for himself and take control of his own life is not great. Poor Josh. Tank continues to be more than creepy. Wonder who the new girl was. Think things are about to get a whole lot worse for everyone... Look forward to more, update soon
  7. Great Chapter Liked how Evie covered her tattoo. It's understandable she would do so considering what Tank has done. Liked what she covered it with too. But i also understand Josh's point of view. Tank seems to be a third party in their relationship, and considering Josh forgot she even had the tattoo maybe she shouldn't have told him. I like how she wanted to do something that would make him happy though, even if it had the opposite effect. Feel sorry for both of them. One step forward two steps back it seems. Oh dear the cops really need to find Tank as soon as possible... Once again great writing, update soon
  8. Great Chapter! Glad Josh will have no lasting physical damage from the medication mix up. Maybe Andy should tell the cops what he thinks Tank has done. Wonder what Tank is building... Nice scene at the end with Josh and Evie. Great to see her continuing to support him and glad he was able to find the strength to face her. Sad but true that love isn't enough sometimes. Feel sorry for both of them. I look forward to more, update soon
  9. Great Chapter! Liked how Josh managed to get everything of his chest to Mark. Unfortunate that Mark couldn't provide much help. Maybe he should see someone who specializes in anxiety. But i think talking about what has happened has helped Josh, at least to some extent. Andy is continuing to step up and provide great support, even if it makes Josh uncomfortable. Good that he noticed a difference in medication. Likewise, i think Tank is responsible. Andy should tell Kat and Nate this, because i don't believe that the pharmacist is responsible. Also hope Josh's kidney's don't fail. More side effects from the wrong medication are the last thing he needs. Once again great writing, update soon
  10. Great Chapter Geez Tank is even worse than i thought. No empathy at all for the people he has killed. Frightening. Glad Josh knows about Greg's passing. Trying to protect Josh hasn't landed Andy any favours though. Continue to enjoy their brotherly relationship, even when they are not getting along swimmingly. Also liked that Josh isn't going to hold any grudges about what Kat has done (or hasn't done). Look forward to more, update soon
  11. Oscar and Maddy barely had enough screen time together as a couple to even see if they were compatible. What did they do in their free time together? What interests did they have? Did we see so little of their relationship because they barely spent anytime together and preferred the company of other people? Maybe. Maybe not. But even though i never really believed they were in love doesn't mean i don't think they weren't compatible, at least at some level. At the moment i certainly don't think Matt and Maddy are compatible. They are living together and there is, more than other couples, some sort of continual problem or conflict between them. After their arguments they seem to kiss and make up quite quickly, which is fine if we want to see them making out all the time. But like others have said their relationship has been rushed, and doesn't leave me believing that they are in love ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
  12. Great Chapter! Sad that Greg has died. If only he could've told Kat what Tank had planned. Kat shouldn't feel too guilty- she's not the one who put him in hospital and if she had found evidence sooner who knows if things would've panned out the way they did. Wonder what the other coppers are going to think of her negligence though. Think Andy should be honest to Josh about Greg. Nice to see Darcy bringing a smile to Josh's face. I like the reference to their trip to the city being a holiday. They have to come home soon enough though. Wondering how things are going at home with Evie. And what exactly Tank has planned. Update soon
  13. Great Chapter! Nice scene at the beginning with Kat and Andy. Glad she was honest about everything.Everything that has happened has really taken its toll on Andy too. Hope Greg survives. He might be able to tell people what exactly Tank has planned. So creepy that Tank installed camera's everywhere in the house, especially in the bathroom. Like how Bianca and Health (and even Darcy) supported Josh. Wasn't expecting them to be involved so it was a nice surprise. Understandable Health is concerned about his wife and kids, i would be too. Great ending with the suspense for whatever Tank has planned. Looking forward to seeing what that is... Update soon
  14. Great chapter! Understandable that Oscar was so angry. Glad once he saw Josh he was a bit more understandable. Once again Evie shows great strength as she tries to comfort Josh. So sad that he has had to make that decision to spend some time away from Evie, for her sake because he doesn't trust himself to be around her. Feel so sorry for both of them. Great writing once again. True that Tank still has control over him even though he is not physically there. Now the one person he felt comfort from is gone. I wonder where they both go from here, whether they will sink in despair or try to move on with their lives. Loved Kyle's role in this chapter. The ending was very powerful. Glad Kyle's getting Andy, he is probably the only one who could help him now. I look forward to more, update soon
  15. Great Chapter! Cute scene with Kyle and Tamara, glad her vision is gradually getting better. I wouldn't want to tell Josh right now either. That might make him give up completely and think it may have been better if he had died, instead of this misery and pain he and his loved ones are experiencing. Even though none of this is his fault, if he had died none of this would be happening, and this realization for Josh may be too much. Great understanding of Evie. She shows maturity when she knows she wouldn't be able to share a bed with Josh but she knows she has to be there for him. Like Zac and Leah's role. Hope Oscar won't be too angry with Josh though it would make sense that he would be. I think both Evie and Josh need to see a counselor/psychologist. It's not going to be easy to move forward for either of them, especially if they both can't get any sleep. As always, great writing, update soon
  16. Wow.. great chapter! Left me a bit speechless Once again great writing. I particularly like the first paragraph, just the way its been written is simple but so powerful . 'Everything he knew was in this moment, pure and simple existence, with no past and no future'- thought this line was great. The nightmare scene with Tank really set the scene for the utter turmoil that was to come. Now onto his nightmare.. it must have been so frightening for both Josh and Evie. The realization that you are strangling your girlfriend while your sleeping. I can't imagine. And the realization for Evie that your boyfriend is nearly killing you, and her being nearly powerless to stop him due to his ability to physically overpower her so easily, especially in the state he is in. Very well written. It's now going to be an even longer road to recovery for Josh. He wouldn't, and Evie wouldn't trust him to sleep beside her anymore. Psychopathology medication would help, along with continued talks with a psychologist, for both Evie and Josh probably. It shows the strength of her character that she is able to let Josh know herself that she is physically okay (as okay as she can be) because she knows he would never mean to harm her on purpose. Except now he has (even accidentally) and it will be a long road for them to be able to regain trust in their relationship. Also really like Andy supporting them both. It will be interesting to see what happens once Evie returns. Also wonder how everyone else will react. Zac, understandably not well but i hope they show compassion and support. Great job, one of the most shocking chapters in this fanfic, i look forward to more. Update soon
  17. Great Chapter! Glad the cops found Greg, hope he will make it. Hope they find Tank too but at the moment it seems unlikely, he could be anywhere. Glad a car is going to be stationed outside the house. Though whether the car is there or not probably makes no difference to Josh. At the moment he has sort of resided to the fact that if he is being targeted there's nothing he can do about it, which is probably unhealthy but in character and understandable. Liked how everyone is continuing to support Josh by doing what he wants; acting normally. The barbecue was a great idea. Also wonder how long Tamara is going to continue telling everyone there has been no change.Even though her eyesight is very far from perfect at the moment, i wonder how Josh would react. Look forward to more, update soon
  18. I agree with most of that. Maturity is something i don't think Matt possesses very much of. He has proven time and time again that he doesn't know how to act like an adult and how to not make stupid decisions (even though i'm pretty sure he is older than all the other teens). The current storyline highlights this, and their bickering and lack of respect for other people doesn't make them out to be an adult couple. They just have seemingly adult problems. And Maddy had a lovely relationship with Oscar, even though i disagree he was her soul mate, they were certainly more mature, because both parties were more mature than Matt. It's a shame they didn't get much recognition from the writers. We will have to wait and see whether Maddy and Matt can move past the bickering stage in their relationship. Though i imagine they won't, how much their maturity is compromised by this remains to be seen completely. Although to be honest, i don't know how much Matt's character can mature. But maturity can take dips throughout a persons life, as we have seen with Maddy throughout the Matt/Oscar triangle and this storyline. It is early days, though, will have to wait and see.
  19. Great Chapter! Geez Tank is creepy. Actually not just creepy he looks to be sociopathic. Poor Greg, hope the police find him in time. Hope Kat doesn't feel too guilty, but if she had relied on Josh's story instead of his loved ones the cops may have found them by now. Like how Josh wanted to go to the beach to retain some sense of normality in his life. Loved the beach scene, along with Kyle and Andy worrying. But Tamara is right, they should let him have some fun and be there for Josh when he needs it. Once again great job, update soon
  20. As i said it's their first storyline and its disappointed me, but of course i'll continue watching and see what happens. It's only been a few weeks and i might grow to like them. But if i don't then thats fine too. What will be interesting to see is whether this is a long lasting relationship. If they are constantly arguing in a way that impacts them both negatively of course i don't see it lasting. But if they are not impacted negatively by their arguments it may. Also, when they get meatier storylines that will test them even more as a couple. Time will tell. But you say Oscar pretends to be genuine which i don't get. Everyone knows that cheating is wrong, but i never think of Oscar as non-genuine. To me some of his main qualities are that he is sweet and sincere, especially in his love of Maddy. He's also insecure and he shouldn't have cheated. But that doesn't mean that he isn't a genuine person with genuine feelings.
  21. I sort of went into Matt and Maddy with an open mind, on the basis that I never really believed she was in love with Oscar and Alec and Kassandra in my opinion have better chemistry. But the closer they got to becoming a couple the more I didn’t like it. I don’t believe it was necessary to have Maddy declare that she’s in love with him after a week of dating, though I accept that they have known each other for awhile and she may have been in denial about said feelings. I also felt that the chemistry between the actors weakened when they became romantic and there was little spark. The current storyline involving them moving in with Roo and fighting all the time, while at times can be humorous, most of the time it just brings out qualities in the characters I don’t really like. Maddy is a character I have grown to like after finding her extremely unlikable in past years. I enjoy her interactions with the other teens, Roo and Alf in particular. But this storyline has left me quite bored with her. There just isn’t anything exciting about Kassandra’s acting in this storyline and with Alec so far (except for Mr Bojangles- I liked that). Though that is of course my opinion and hopefully it will change. I’m just finding her and Matt’s arguments, as well as this storyline boring and predictable. Matt is being quite insensitive to how his roommates want to live (this being said I think Roo was also quite harsh when she didn’t want Matt to decorate the apartment with some of his stuff). I have read opposing opinions about whether Oscar or Matt are more or less mature than the other. But this storyline is highlighting how immature Matt can be. He loves Maddy but won’t clean or do other chores for their household? And when he does finally do it he does it wrong and they continue fighting. This can be seen as humorous but as it’s their first storyline as a couple I’m left disappointed. Hopefully I’ll change my mind once they get more challenging or emotional storylines. At the moment though I just wish they had explored the characters backgrounds more, rather than another relationship merry go round. Matt has had storylines involving his father and sister, alcohol and since then little to do with anything other than women. I believe the writers could’ve explored his troubles with school more instead of this. On the other hand, Maddy has been in the bay longer and has been in love with Spencer, Josh, Oscar and now Matt. I believed she loved Spencer and Josh but this storyline has done little to prove that she loves Matt any more than she loved Oscar. In my opinion the writers could’ve naturally broken Oscar and Maddy up without hurting Oscar’s character and created storylines involving her nursing career. But we shall see what happens as the weeks pass.
  22. Even though in current Australian episodes he seems to be redeemed in the eyes of Zac, Leah and even VJ, I don’t really believe he should be. This is because he seems to have never owned up to stealing the safe from the diner, which put Marilyn in hospital and ultimately was the reason Denny died. I of course fully accept that Charlotte shouldn’t have kept him from owning up to it straightaway, and what she did after Denny died was horrible. But, like Charlotte has said, if it wasn’t for Hunter and the safe so many things wouldn’t of happened. It seems Zac, the twins and Hannah (even Alf) don’t know that Hunter played a huge part in Denny dying. And it seems like the writers don’t wish them to ever know, while Olivia does but doesn’t care. To me to be redeemed fully he needs to own up to stealing the safe. Also, the redemption process has happened really quickly. And with Alf and even Billie going on about how he is going through a really tough time it feels like we are meant to feel really sorry for him. I accept that he made mistakes and he wished he never made them, but it would’ve worked better if he wasn’t fully accepted into society after the town turned on Charlotte instead. That being said I enjoy Scott’s acting when he was acting like a spoilt child and when he is a nice human being. It just doesn’t feel right that people don’t know the full story of what he has done. We’re meant to forgive him for burning a valuable house down, nearly killing 4 people, framing an innocent who nearly gets a 10 year prison sentence, breaking into a house and stealing, leaving someone for dead and… that’s all that most people on the show are aware of. Just doesn’t sit right with me.
  23. I know he is labelled as a ‘nice guy’ and ‘hot sexy doctor’ but is it just me who still thinks his character is really awkward? I mean in terms of body language and even sociability sometimes. I don’t believe he is a convincing doctor, and even though that is often down to the scripts, sometimes an actor can make it half believable anyway, which Kyle doesn’t in my opinion. On the other hand other doctors like Rachel, Sid and a variety of other guest actors and actresses have done a better job. Hannah as a nurse is far more believable too in my opinion. Also his mannerisms in scenes with his love interests to me are also awkward. I wonder if that’s the way his character is written but I don’t think it is. For example Jake Speer and Jackson Gallagher (Oscar and Josh) often come across as awkward in scenes. But I think while scripts often demand it, its also the actors trying to be more believable as teenagers and I believe they do a good job with their characters. But I don’t believe the character of Nate requires this awkwardness at all, especially working as a doctor. But maybe its just me? Like others have said on here I don’t think he is the saint people on the show often make him out to be. The way he treated Sophie was terrible, and as a doctor and someone who was meant to care about her he did a terrible job of helping her. If it wasn’t for him driving erratically in the 2014 finale the bus driver would not have died. Though I think we are meant to have forgotten that. To me there are other characters far more interesting and well played than Nate, yet he still seems to get a lot of screen time.
  24. I think the writers made a mistake not utilizing him very well. Jake Speer is a great actor who deserves to have storylines centred around him for once, though I fear this will never happen. He did a great job in 2014 with his anxiety and body issues storylines but this past year hasn’t done much but be Maddy’s boyfriend and be involved in a love triangle for which he’s the single one at the end of it. I enjoy his friendship with Skye , Josh and his family, though it will be interesting to see how he continues his friendship with Matt and Maddy. Hope it continues, even though he is still insecure and basically doubting Maddy ever loved him, which is a fair point considering what she said to him before he went missing after the formal last year, and how quickly Maddy has moved with Matt. He always seemed to get the short end of the stick- though I didn’t necessarily want him and Maddy together that doesn’t mean I wanted him to get hurt (even if it wasn’t totally intentional). His parents died separately as well as Denny, which I don’t recall him reacting to at all this year, which is a shame.
  25. Great Chapter! Finally everyone believes Josh and Kat's getting somewhere in finding Tank. Amazing writing once again. You have the ability to capture whats going on in Josh's head perfectly, as well as other characters like Evie. Completely in character. Great but really sad scene where Josh starts laughing and sobbing. Also when Josh forgave Evie for not believing him. You have great understanding of the characters. Hope Greg is okay, hope they find Tank soon and Josh begins to feel safer now people believe him and he knows who is responsible. Though of course still not being able to see would be frightening. Look forward to more
