I have a mate that works at Channel 5 so I asked him. He said as far as he is aware the Australian credits have been solely created for Australian airings only during the Thursday triple eps. Shame.

Unfortunately 5 won't be showing these new opening titles, they are for Australian broadcasts only

I am 4 weeks behind, yikes. However I did have a look at the episode in which they should have aired. Regular opening. Are they not been shown here?

And no treats in regards to old episodes this year?

This year they are wrapping up for the UK winter break on Thursday. Did they do this in previous years? I can't remember.

Aaaaah OK gotcha. That's definitely a shame. I couldn't imagine watching in SD but would put up with it for a few episodes I guess. Interestingly decided once to watch on My5 ( via sky platform and smart TV ) instead of downloading via 5STAR. No HD on My5. Weird. Edit: I also decided to start watching the show on RTE2HD a few years back as they show episodes exactly as they air in Australia. But it's geoblocked on sky. Grrrrrrrrrrr. So back to 5STAR it was/is.

How come you get C5 but no 5STAR? Just curious

Fingers crossed its not the same batch Some 1996 would be good too. I would love them to do a season finale/season premiere drop of eps.
