  1. The 2000 season will always be special to me for one reason only - Edward Dunglass. I found him to be one of the most fascinating characters the show ever had and his storyline was genuinely interesting and unique at the time. I truly feel like we will never ever see a character like him on the show again. Aside from his storyline with the Huntington's disease, I also found his romance with Peta (another good character) very sweet and despite the fact they were only teenagers I found their devotion to each other very wholesome. I would love to get my hands on the episodes that feature the both of them again.
  2. Edward & Peta. Two characters who I thought were great and loved their romance.
  3. Edward Dunglass's Huntington's disease storyline. That was some of my favourite stuff from the late 90's.
  4. I was watching an episode from 1993 today and there was a storyline where Roxanne wanted to buy a car and wanted to determine herself if it was good enough and worth the money without input from a man. Now of course everyone from Alf to Luke to Shane was trying to ask if she knew this, this and that about cars and she kept repeating that she wanted to be able to buy it on her own. Alf's response to that was telling Luke that "blokes have it hard these days with these modern sheilas" I definitely don't think a comment like that would go down very well in 2023 considering how much more progressive and modern day thinking the average women/girl is now.
