Yes it's the 5star ep that drops
-
I Will too find it handy on busy days being able to watch it in the morning of I know ill be home late that evening etc and I wont fall behind. You are indeed correct. All the soaps offer this now so was inevitable.

Digital Spy are reporting that from Monday the show will be streaming first on the new rebranded 5 Streaming app. The 5Star pace first Look will drop from 6am ahead of that day's 6:30pm screening. It will still be repeated on Channel 5 the following day. https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a64086318/home-and-away-big-change-uk-viewers/

Agreed! Cant wait to see them on screen here!
-
Nahhhh. They have quotas
-
They did a bit for the 30th to be fair to them. Resurrecting Martha, and the re-enactment of the Blake and Meg sunrise scene with Billie and VJ. Im sure there were more little easter eggs that year too. A subtle celebration if you will

Home and Away: The Early Years UK Tour! (cancelled)

Got my tickets to Salford. Anyone else getting/got tickets for The Lowry? 45 pounds each, there are some tickets up in the gods for 39 (including booking fees) for a night out at the theatre these days these arent bad prices at all. You have the option to add on meet and greet seperately. -

This is so exciting and seems to have had a great reaction online a waiting tickets going on sale too! -
Yeees the repeat of Thursdays First Look will be Friday Lunchtime still
-
I agree Dana is my favourite character too.
-
Absolute rollercoaster of week. Have watched it twice now
-
Have seen the article now it seems that there are some good choices. Im so glad theyre doing this again anyway. Fills the winter void! Haha
-
Has anyone found any info about which eps we're getting next week yet? Last year when they did this, it was published the week before which eps were coming the following week. As others have said, it would be good to have different ones. I'll be worried Monday morning if I sit down to watch and its the pilot episode ?
-
Great news. I just hope theyre different to last years episodes!!
-
Yes, Home and Away is available on My5 from 6:30pm as the first Look airs.
-
Thankyou!

Lunchtime showing on C5 budges upto 1pm from Monday to make way for afternoon festive films.
-
That came out of now where didnt it. I didnt believe what I heard ? had to go back and check

Even though he was a 'blink and miss it' character, I was gutted he was killed in such a way? Im hoping there is a meaty story attached and he wasnt just plonked for drama's sake. I was also pleased that Cash and Eden didnt fight about the joke... However I think his sensitivity about it being more about it being Jasmine's ring than a just a ring on her finger.

I was thinking this, theyre going to have to drop episodes on a saturday? Orrr, overlap into the first week after its back front he winter break. Orrrr double up on a Friday or something? All a bit odd! I suspect Friday 30th December will be the 5star return. Thanks for the info

Spot on James I agree the future is streaming. And look at that very fresh announcement about Neighbours coming back on Amazon freevee. (although I think that will be a bit difficult for most to grasp and find to Begin with, people will get used to it after a while) days of our lives in the US is now entirely on peacock. The change is happening! Also the advertisers will pay more for streaming Slots, they can target you better, as they know exactly your age and location etc and also you cannot skip the ads most the time. The ads on Homers on my5 are a lot different already. Not a funeral plan in sight ?
-
Thanks so much for that. All very exciting!

Im wondering if we might get weekly episode drops (this could be testing the waters) on my5 and then repeats on 5star. The show props 5star up from ratings point of view so I cant see it moving off there. All soaps in general need to adapt to a more streaming friendly format to survive and even have a chance at attracting newer audiences so I wouldnt be against it tbh. I think itvx launching and going for a Stream 1st strategy will change the landscape a bit. Other broadcasters will be watching on to see what happens with that.

Sounds about right then doesnt it! Interesting 'My5' strategy and not linear on 5star like in the past.
