Should also add there have been pretty much daily profile updates over the past month. Mainly guest characters but we're also working on bringing some of the past profiles up to date. I've been away hence why not replying to your PM. You did that so well. I loved the small snippets into different characters, the format really worked. I have to start with the Hayley / Cassie thing and Cassie in general actually because it was so well done. I really felt for poor Cassie and Hayley... I thought there was sympathy there but then she twists it to her own advantage. I knew it was going to happen but still it was really effective. The Martha/ Gypsy water moment.. you got into both those characters really well, I feel so sorry for Gypsy but I feel for Martha too, such a sucky situation. I loved the characters, your own creations watching from the efges and seeing things from their point of view. I'm remembering now just why I hated Rhys Sutherland so much, grr. A really well done scene though. Its the little things, the attention to detail, the Shelley bits, the twins. Thats the sort of stuff that marks a great writer. I really loved what you did for this chapter and Martha collapsing was a shocker, even though I know what happens next I can't wait to see how you make it play out.

I wanted to post to say that ILM has officially taken over this story now. I had neither the time nor the inclination unfortunately and luckily she has the enthusiasm and shares my vision on where the characters and pairings can go. Plus she writes it better than me. So on that note.. awesome chapter. I especially loved the Gypsy/ Jack stuff... cuteness, they're so good together. Poor Kim, I love how you bring such depth to the characters, great writing. Sorry I'm too tired for a long review but you already know what I think anyway.

With Beth's memorial airing yesterday in the UK we've put up some features in rememberance. Her profile has had a complete update, as have all her children, we have scripts from her key episodes, a character analysis from Ryan and a memorial book. What those who contributed think trhat Bay members would have said about Beth if Home and Away had have given her more than a five minute send off. We also have some video clips going up in a few weeks when we get the server issues sorted. A huge thanks to: emmasi kirst Bttb-rox Ida Girl Chatter Box Eduardo Bearo Cal Frankie and Ryan for their help with this feature.

We have been working hard to try and bring the current character profiles up to date. With the exception of one or two we are now pretty much up to date with current characters and if all goes well we'll continue to update them every few months so that they are always as up to date as we can make them. We've also completed a number of guest character profiles and there will be more to come over the next few weeks and months. A big thank you to bttb-rox! -Kirst- and emmasi for their help with the profiles. We're also aiming to increase the amount of features we do over the next few months and also include our forum members a little more so if you are interested in helping the main site keep watch on this thread for the latest feature competitions we're running that you can help us with. Beware the thread contains UK spoilers. Also in the pipeline is a number of detailed episode summaries from past years of home and away starting with 2004 but we have gaps in our collection so if you have any pre- 2005 episodes on tape or on your computer and would be willing to provide any episode summaries for them, please PM me and I can let you know if a summary is needed for that episode. I've found it only occurs if you use the quick edit button. If you write your chapters in microsoft word only ever use the full edit button and if your story has those symbolly things in them try pressing the full edit button, sometimes they disappear. The quick way to get rid of them is to copy the story back into word and use the find and replace button, under 'edit' on your toolbar, to change them back to speechmarks and 's. Edit: I've just done it for you. All back to normal now, I'd suggest only using full edit from now on though.

Ah that was lovely. Aww that was so sad. His relationship with Matilda is so cute, really genuine. Beautiful description. Lovely happy ending, so nice to see them as a family. I just went 'awww' all the way through this! It was really sweet and just right, I loved how it was sad but ended on a happy theme. It was really well done, I feel all mushy now. Poor Tony. You write him so well. Great one shot.

As far as I'm aware it is still five lines of text but whats never been specified is what board view thats in. I only ever view the board in default wide and so my signature is five lines of text in default wide but I've just checked and its more like eight in narrow view. Its usually five in default view too but we're all advertising BB at the moment so I was trying to keep as much of my signature as possible. I can't speak for the other moderators but I personally never pull anyone up unless they have more than five lines in wide view.

^^^^^^^^^ You need to ignore her. I refuse to take any of the credit for this because this chapter was solely ILM's work. I had nothing at all to do with it. I might have mentioned a few ideas but I'm not the one who gets inside the characters heads. I deal with the bitchiness and the dialogue, ILM makes the characters real, flawed and the description is awesome so she deserves full praise for this chapter. So having said that, I'm going to review it. Seriously I was having doubts about what we were ging to have Kane do because I really don't want him to come across as the bad guy but at the same time we have to feel sorry for Cassie and Hayley and boy did you achieve that. I could see why Kane did what he did, he got mixed signals from Cassie after having been messed around by Hayley and just because we saw inside Cassie's head doesn't mean that Kane did. Therefore I refuse to see him as the bad guy. That said poor Cassie. Her vulnerability was awesome. Cassie in this story is not at all my development, shes completely yours. You are responsible for Adam Kerr and the 'Crazy Cassie' stuff. You're the one who got inside that messed up, abused mind and found a really vulnerable, really lost, devastated little girl just crying out to be loved. It was heartbreaking to witness but completely compelling, I really felt like I lived through that whole nightmare with her. I've seen you write some amazing stuff but I really felt you took this scene to a whole new level. Hayley: God I love to hate her. I love how she just can't accept help, I was crying out for her to accept Martha's olive branch but I completely buy why she didn't. She's another little child lost and your insight into her upbringing really explains the monster I envisioned in chapter one. I'm okay with the characters interactions with each others but I'm not so good with back storys and reasons why, I guess that's why having this fic as a combination works. Your skill with description is awesome, I can't fault a single thing about this story. To be honest I'd kind of got disheartened by this. It was starting to get to me, I felt like people couldn't appreciate the story because of the way the ships were being split. I was also disappointed that ILM's writing which I honestly believe is amongst if not the best on the board, wasn't getting the credit it deserved. I've decided though that I don't care. I have lots of ideas in my head, if at least some people are willing to keep reading, I'll keep on trying to write and ILM will hopefully keep helping. So thanks for the awesome reviews guys, they mean a lot more than you know.

We had a bit of a problem with this thread... One of our librarians, I won't name her but she made a bit of a mess of moving the comments and we ended up with the comments but not who had posted them. The mods have taken a topic each and posted it back but if you recognise any of the comments please PM one of us so we can change the poster name beck to whoever posted the comment. Isn't it weird, you've got our typical weather and we have yours and we're both moaning about it! I know your weather is a bit more extreme than usual, I just find it funny how we're never happy with what we've got!

I'm having another no sleep night. Been lurking pretty much all night finding random little things to do. My back is absolute agony but I just can't lie down anymore, I've been lying flat for days now and its boring. The suns not long up here and it looks like its going to be another gorgeous day. Its so hot and muggy though, we could do with your thunder storm to clear the air.

Is there no way you can set it to private without logging in anonymously?
